Resistance Transport
" I have to say this set was exceptional value for money, maybe because LEGO were selling off left over stock before they retire the set so that reduced it £29.99 and then I used some ViP points to knock it down to under £20 so well chuffed with the price.
The set itself was an enjoyable build with very little repetition and some good use of Technic pieces to connect the weapons pod and cockpit section to the main body of the ship. Far too many stickers with this set though, it's been mentioned in previous reviews and I totally agree that these should be minimal not the other way round.
Mini figures are well detailed, well the two main characters (Adm Ackbar and Princess Leia) are, the two resistance troopers were ok but we've seen them before in the battle pack. I would have liked the red armed C3P0 in the set at the cost of a trooper as this would really have made the set unique.
It's got playability with the spring loaded shooters so if you have The Battle on Takodana set this would give you a chance to shoot up some First Order stormtroopers. Or place alongside the Millenium Falcon and Resistance X-Wing at the resistance base.
My advice, get it before it is retired at a reduced price, even if you only get it for Leia. Try to ignore the massive amount of stickers and get hold of a red armed C3P0. Enjoy.

Imperial Tanks
" Purchased this on a whim and because the price was ok, wasn't sure whether I'd really like it but after building it I was quite happy with the overall look of the vehicle. The mini figures are well detailed and the hovertank crew fit in the tank well.
Playability is good, value for money is good, LEGO did good on this set, well done.

Poe's first X-wing.
" I own Poe's other X-wing so this was a build I was familiar with and fortunately I managed to pick it up at a reduced price thanks to the shop having a deal on LEGO over xmas. Definitely worth owning both resistance X-wings and I plan to display this one along side Poe's orange/black version with a different pilot as per the line up at the resistance base in the film.
Plus point:
The ship itself is a real piece of work and well worth the money I paid for it.
The mini figures with the set are excellent and spot on for the set.
The build is really nice and only repetitive when building the wings.
Minus points:
The wings, they have been mentioned in other reviews on both this and Poe's black/orange ship. I hope that maybe LEGO might redesign them and publish the modification on line for owners to work on.
BB-8, perhaps LEGO might produce a few different BB- units to represent the different astromechs on other pilots ships.
The engine mounts are really delicate and prone to come off easily (as with Poe's black/orange version).
All that said it's a good take on the now classic design and I'm really happy with it, my only issue is I now have to buy a new glass cabinet to display my rapidly expanding collection.
Well done LEGO, keep them coming.

Best A-Wing yet
" I've owned the 2013 A-wing and I currently own the rebels A-wing which comes with Darth Vader's TIE fighter but they are both way behind this one.
The build was straightforward and only repetative with the engine build. The finished item is sleek, streamlined and looks every bit the fastest starfighter in the rebel fleet. Although the price is a bit steep you do get the A-wing, ground support vehicle and 3 good minifigures so it's not a bad deal.
Green squadron pilot, ground crewman and Lando Calrissian are the minifigures with this set although I'm not sure why Lando is in there.
Other than the odd random SW hero rebel general showing up this is a pretty good mid range set which will look good alongside my B-wing and Y-wing. All we need is a new T65 X-wing from Rogue One and it's all good (get the hint LEGO)???
A good set but some might be wondering why it's appeared now?

Imperial AT-ST
" A great Rogue One set even if the walker only appears briefly in the film. As the last one was part of a bigger and more expensive set this one and the price are a welcome surprise.
The build was fairly easy but a little repetitive even so I enjoyed putting this set together and was impressed with the finished product.
Good selection of mini figures given the price.

We're starting our attack run.
" Got this as a Christmas present and I love it, I'd been looking for the retired set (9495) on a popular auction website and was starting to get fed up with the £90+ that most were going for. I have to say this new set is great, well worth the money for such an iconic rebel starship.
Although I suspect that much of the basic chassis design is unchanged from the previous set this newer version has a great deal of playability with the spring loaded shooters and the bomb release function. There are some great mini figures with this set but given that the set comes with a resupply vehicle I would have liked a ground crewman instead of a stormtrooper. Nevertheless this set ticks all the boxes for me at an affordable price without having to fork out silly money on a bidding war.
This will find itself displayed with pride amongst my collection.

New set, old characters
" Whoop, been hoping this would make a reappearance for so long. Good to see LEGO bringing back some of the episode IV sets with a little more up to date design.
Wasn't too difficult to build and has a good amount of playability, I'd have to say this set was pretty good for the price.
Can't fault the amount of mini figures but I'd like to have seen R2-D2 in there as well.
Good effort LEGO another great Star Wars set to add to my collection.

Imperial AT-ATs spotted on the south ridge!
" Quite simply a set with just the right amount of parts and mini figures for the price with loads of playability. I bought this because I already had the AT-AT (75054) and the Snow speeder (75049) so I thought this would make an excellent diorama when I combined the three. I was right this set absolutely brings the whole scene to life, you could almost be back on the planet Hoth. I see there is a new Hoth set out retailing at £219.99, it looks good and I might just have to invest but for now this set hits the spot. "

C3P0 and R2D2 escape the clutchees of the Empire.
" Bought this as the previous set was a bit basic and I really wanted a C3P0 mini figure to add to my collection, it was a very good set in my opinion, much improved on the previous offerings. Although previous reviewers have said it falls apart too easily I haven't found this but then I don't play with my LEGO that much. I like the escape pod and the way it opens, although there are a few stickers these really add good detail to the set.
C3P0 and R2-D2 are both included along with two Jawas making this a good set for mini figures with a low price tag. I'd definitely like to see a new Tattoine Sand trooper set (with Dewback) to add to this set????
Another nice, well priced set from LEGO, well done.

A great set from LEGO
" This set has to be one of the best I have built but for the price it could have been a bit more substantial, £80 has got me a lot more in the past.
The ships look excellent and next to my older A Wing (75003) and the Imperial Tie Fighter (9492) they both look the business. Although I'm not a big fan of the spring loaded shooters I am impressed by the way LEGO has built these in this time, Vader's Tie Fighter has an excellent trigger mechanism and although the A Wing's mechanism is a little awkward both show a genius level of design from the LEGO craftsmen.

My old (2013) A Wing looks downright basic compared to this new edition and this one has just about the right amount of stickers. The colour scheme also makes this A Wing stand out from the crowd. The mini figure pilot makes this model unique and is a great edition to my collection. The build was a little more complex than the 2013 version but very enjoyable none the less. As I've mentioned already the missile firing mechanism is a bit awkward, ingenious, but awkward and the pilot sits way to far back in the cockpit. The engines and steering foils are one of the best features on this new ship.
Vader's Tie Fighter was a pleasure to build and having owned the older version (8017) this version was more compact but overall more realistic and a more seamless build. It would be feasible to expect Vader to have a ship far more advanced and manoeuvrable than the standard Tie so as it sits on the shelf next to the old Tie (9492) it doesn't look out of place at all. The Vader mini figure is excellent and one of the reasons I purchased the set in the first place.
The mini figures with this set are first class, I've already mentioned the A Wing pilot and Vader but add in Grand Moff Tarkin and Sabine Wren and this set is unique although I haven't followed the Rebels series they still appeal to me from a collectors point of view. I would have liked one or two more mini figures for the price though.
Overall a very good set from LEGO and easily capable of blending in with other sets from the original trilogy, only drawback is the price! "
