"The train is a great addition to the monster fighters series. When the train is moving the bat wings on the sides of the smaller train cars move as if they were flying.
My favoite part of this set is the airplane and how it's designed. It looks like a fantastic piece of ghostbusting equipment. One of the fighters is flying the plane while the other is suppost to hang from the chain and fight the ghosts.
I did find building the bone carriage on the train challenging. Young ones might find this part difficult as well. Overall, this is a great and spooky set! Thanks Lego!"
"Wow! I could imagine this cottage on the hills of Aspen, CO! This set has so much detail.
The main house has a living area with a fireplace with a lightup brick. A grandfather minifig is reading a newspaper in his chair by the fireplace and the christmas tree. The kitchen has various shelves and cookware. A little boy's room is above the kitchen and his room is filled with toys!
I rated this build as challenging because of all the detailed work with the toolshed and the kitchen. The tile work is challenging on the floor of the kitchen. Almost all of the tools in the toolshed are all ones that I have never seen in a lego set before. I think that the addition of a toolshed is very imaginative. Thanks Lego for this great set!"
"Some people have said that this set was their least favoite out of the winter villiage. I would have to disagree with those people, the post office set is one of my favorite buildings out of the winter village series.
The overall look of the set has an adorable, vintage feel to it. The smaller features of this set are my favorite out of the winter village series. The mail truck looks like it could have come out of the 1930's. A small pavillion houses the band (the way lego put together their bricks to look like miniature replicas of instruments is nothing short of ingenious).
The main post office building is a little smaller than the other builings in the series, however, what it lacks in size it makes up for in the details. The curved windows are my favorite feature. Thanks again Lego!"
"This set is probably the most original idea out of all the monster fighters series collection. The playability of the vampire hearse is great! The motorcycle for the monster fighter is my favorite part of this set.
One thing that I did have problems with is the back opening up for the hearse. I think that the vampire is supposed to be able to launch out of his coffin, however, that is just simply not possible. Other than that this is a great set.
Overall, this set is well worth the money. Thanks Lego!"
"The werewolf is my favorite minifigure in the monster fighters collection. He comes with cool glow in the dark claws (the glow in the dark part doen't last too long, but they still look cool.)
This set comes with an old-fashion looking car for the monster fighter and also a forest tree for the werewolf. The tree is suppost to launch the werewolf at the monster fighter, however it doesn't really work that well.
Overall, this is a nice set and I would recommend this set. Thanks Lego!"
"I love this set! Out of all the small sets that Lego produces, this set is by far my favorite.
The set includes a very small helicopter with a kick-butt, female monster fighter. It also includes a mummy minifigure with a horse drawn carriage. My favorite detail in the set is the glow in the dark horse.
If you have a choice between this set and the swamp creature set, go with the mummy. You get more value for your money if you go with this set. Thanks LEGO!"
"The swamp creature is a nice small set, though there really isn't much too it. I love the swamp creature minifigure and the moonstone. Other than that there really isn't much to say about it.
This set can be built within a few minutes. If you are going to give this set as a gift, please pair it with a slightly larger set. This set would make a wonderful stockingstuffer for the little ones. Thanks LEGO!"
"I love this set. The details are amazing. This Lego set will put anyone in the mood for the holidays. The bakery comes with so many small details, and there is a great light brick to show off all of the pasteries! My favorite part of this set is the ice-skating rink scene. It adds such comidic charm to the whole package. I would definitely recommend this set! Thanks LEGO!"
"Now that I have finally have them all done, I am amazed at how small and detailed this set is! Each building took me around an hour to complete, there are just so many details.
The hardest thing for me was just working with so many small bricks. The buildings are so detailed, but they're also so small. It was a challenging build for me. However, that did make the buildings more fun to work with.
The buildings' colors were all so vibrant and they were colors that I have never seen in lego sets before. I must say that I have not purchased any of the modular building sets, but if they are anything like these beautiful buildings I will have to start getting them! Thanks for this great set LEGO!"
"but this set has nothing too exciting. This is not the most detailed Harry Potter set on the market but it is definitly worth the money. You get five minifigs with this set, four of them being ones that are harder to come by. Also this set was my first expirence with bendable lego (the hoops). Overall, this is a great set for the money that you pay."
