Decent set, but where's the 'bulk' in Bulk?
" This was the last Hero Factory set I got, and Bulk, like the other small Heroes of the 2013 Wave, has a few problems.
Good points first, though. I like the gunmetal grey shield, even though it lacks decoration. The idea of a flick missile is a rather new concept to Hero Factory (but the missiles and shooters of previous Heroes were far superior). The visor is quite cool and I like the chest plate with locking clamps and the shin armour on the shoulder is available in a new colour on this set: silver (not gunmetal grey).
Cons: The main one is Bulk's size, or rather the lack of it. This Bulk is more like 'Bulk-less' ;-) ,he is a bit on the small side and could do with much more arm and leg armour to make him bulkier. I'm also not a fan of the mask design, but that's in my own personal opinion.
All in all, Bulk is good enough in terms of pieces it contains, but as Bulk, it's missing a vital something.

An okay Hero
" I bought Rocka at the same time as all the other new Hero Factory sets, and I believe that all the small Heroes (Rocka, Bulk, Breez) from this 2013 wave share the same pros and cons. They are extremely similar in size and armour. I feel that the 2013 Heroes (the small ones, not Furno XL) are a bit of a let-down compared to the 2012 Breakout series Heroes, since they each had original and independent styling largely, but the 2013 wave sees a step in the opposite direction and has made them similar to each other again.
The pros on Rocka include the flip-up visor, the chest armour with Hero Core clamps, the new translucent green sword and the shield, which is admittedly plain but is gold-coloured and has two blades that rotate sticking out of it. The cons are that the shield arm could do with more armour attachment, it could be a bit bulkier in general and I'm not a massive fan of the gold mask design.
Overall, an okay set with some worthwile pieces in it to add to your Hero Factory collection.

The Golden Dragon has landed!
" I have loved the Ninjago theme ever since I first saw it two years ago. What I especially loved about it was the characters (especially the villains), and the dragons even more so. While I do not have every single Ninjago dragon (as well as this one I also have the ice, earth and the big four-headed dragon, my personal favourite!), I am a massive fan of dragons.
I feel that on the whole the new 2013 Ninjago sets are a bit of a let-down (probably because I liked the snakes of 2012 so much), but this set stood out because it was a set with a dragon. A GOLD dragon.
Now the minifigures: The Golden Ninja (Lloyd) is new and every piece that makes him up is a shimmering golden colour, a perfect rider for the golden dragon. I love his dragon fire sword with the intricate dragon head detailings, but it's a piece that's becoming a bit common in the Ninjago world. The swordsman and scout both have intricate detailings on their torsos, and the swordsman has cool red shoulder armour and a detailed black helmet. In my personal opinion these are nice villain minifigures, but I prefer the old Ninjago villains (the skeleton and snake armies) as I felt they were more unique and inventive.
The villain's catapult contraption is perhaps a little hit-or-miss as sometimes it catapults a minifigure far and other times it doesn't.
Now onto the dragon. My favourite parts are the head and the wings. The head is gold with various detailed green patternings and really give the dragon personality. The shooter function is perfectly fine, and it's easy to remove if you don't like the look of it (just replace them with a couple of technic bushes). The wing structure is almost flawless and can bend into a variety of flight or general posing positions, but it could have done with more detailing. The legs are adequate and it's easy to stand the dragon up without it falling over, but they could have done with extra flexibility and length. The tail is a nice design, but again it could have done with being a bit longer. I also think the head is a bit too big for the body (it's a bit disproportionate) and the dragon could have done with a larger body.
However, the cons are minor and only reflect my personal opinion. It's still a great set for a relatively small price, and features many awesome pieces, many of them in a rare gold colour. A great purchase for any Ninjago or general dragon fan!

A good Hero
" With Hero Factory sets, I admit that I am rather biased towards the villains when each wave comes out, but the Heroes can be just as good. However I feel that the Heroes from this wave are considerably smaller than they have been and somehow lack armour. I feel that Breez is probably the best of the small Hero sets of the new 2013 Hero Factory sets. I like the styling of the bow staff, the new chest plate with the locking clamps, the visor that can flip up and down and the saw blade shield is different from the plain shields of the other two small Heroes. Cons: The model looks a lot better in the photos than in real life, I think it is a bit too small for what it is and, while the weapon arm has good armour, I think they could have done the same or similar with the shield arm as I think it looks a bit skinny, although this is hard to see in the picture.
Overall, a good (not great) Hero set with some decent pieces that are useful in other models, but not my absolute favourite of the 2013 series.

Monstrously Good
" I'm a big fan of Hero Factory, and I was especially excited by the new villains. Ogrum is a very good figure with plenty of features and bricks in new colours, such as a grey chest plate, brown clawed feet and translucent green armour, and the green evil brain. The face makes Ogrum look very scary/angry (a good feature of a villain!) and the mace weapon is a nice touch, although the chain could have been slightly longer. It's a good size, too. The only minor con is that they could have done with putting 'fingers' on the hand wielding the mace, to make him look like he was holding it better, but it's not hard to add those yourself. Overall, a Hero Factory villain well worth having! "

A Blazingly Good Villain
" Out of all the 2013 Hero Factory sets, Pyrox is one of my favourites, along with Scarox and Furno XL. His fiery minotaur looks are certainly cool, and his head design is great. I like the yellow evil brain, the horns, the fire/rock armour, the new fire pieces and the translucent orange claws. The grey chest piece is also good, up until now Hero Factory sets only included these pieces in black. Just a couple of nitpicks: it could have done with more function than a simple rotating fire blade, and perhaps they could have made him a bit bigger? But these things are incredibly minor, by far Pyrox is one of the best villains, not just this year, but perhaps along the entire Hero Factory line? "

A great design, but flawed functions
" I purchased this set along with all the other 2013 Hero Factory sets. Initially, I loved Bruizer's rock monster look and liked the idea of a swinging arm. But once I assembled him, he isn't as good as any of the other villains in the 2013 series. There are a few things that make him worth having, such as the cool rock style armour and the orange evil brain. There's a couple of cons with this set, and it is to do with it's swinging arm. There's very limited function in the swinging arm when the figure is fully assembled, mainly because there's an armour plate that restricts it's swinging ability, so it hardly moves unless you remove it or extend the axle of the swinging arm, which is a big disappointment. It could also do with a chunkier non-swinging arm, as the current layout makes it very disproportionate. Apart from this, it is an okay set, mostly based on the pieces it contains. "

The best Hero... Ever
" This is by far my favourite Hero set, and has so many good points about it. First of all, the body design is great and makes him look even bigger. The fire pieces are a great idea and set off the model nicely. The visor is different to the visors on the other 2013 Heroes, becuase it has a pattern (the others are a bit plain). And the cape is new, at least for a Hero Factory figure.
There's only a couple of bits wrong, though. It could do with chunkier and more complex limbs. And the cape, while it's great while on the Hero, it's nearly impossible to use the cape on any other Hero Factory figure as the holes are too small. Apart from a few minor issues, this is a great set for any Hero Factory fan, and even when you're finished with him, it's easy to incorporate the unique pieces into other custom Hero Factory models.

A great villain, perfect after some minor tweaks
" When I saw the new Hero Factory range out, this was one of the first to catch my eye, simply because of the green and gold colour and the design of the head. I purchased this set along with the other new Hero Factory sets, and it's a decent little model. It's the cheapest of the new villain sets and has a few interesting features. The evil brain and the striking claw action are both good ideas, although I thought the upper limbs lacked a bit in length and the pose was a bit funny looking. It's easy to add just another five pieces to the limbs and neck so the model can stand on all six limbs and make the striking claw action even more effective (see my photo).
Apart from that, it's a good entry-level villain to start your 2013 Hero Factory collection.
