Wow! What an Incredible Set!
" I was a bit skeptical because of the high cost of this set, but the results are unbelievable and it is worth every penny and maybe a bit more. I thought it was fun watching the motorized set # 8049 Log Loader's pneumatics work, this set's crane pneumatics are incredible, and 3 differentials! Can't recall another set that had 3 of them and sheer piece count, even though a good deal is body panel pieces is excellent cost per part ratio, and the amount of the gearing in this set rivals the 8258 Crane Truck and is a lot more fun to play with. I have always been a fan of Lego models with suspension and this one you just think is going to tip over, but it doesn't, its unbelievably stable. The build can long for those not too familiar with Technic, and even though I could have had it done in fewer hours, I was having so much fun assembling it, I drew it out over 4 nights. A definite must-have Technic set, hope to see this awesome trend of sets continue.
