"Thank you Lego for putting your best into this product! What better way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historical event than to build it yourself! Heck the first part of the build you get to build the Moon, which I really enjoyed. The build techniques made this build extremely fun all the way through. The only tough part was applying the gorgeous stickers not to ruin them as they are highly reflective and well put together, I’m glad there were some printed elements as well like the camera 1x2 tile and the1x8 tile used on the moon border that says, “Apollo 11 Lunar Lander”. The minifigure torsos are the best printed NASA representations Lego has produced as well in my opinion. I was completely blown away by all the metallic Gold tiles included, which is not somthing I expected but like I said I really think LEGO truly wanted this to be a special set and in my eyes they succeeded. The set simply looks gorgeous!"

Highly reflective gold all around makes this set really stand out!
Tear this ship apart until you find those plans!!!
"Well I have to say, I was on the fence about this set until I walked by the Lego store on May the 4th and realized I may have been caught little off guard at the site of this thing...it was HUGE! It was Awesome! It was Star Wars Day!...so who was I kidding? So I grabbed the box off the shelf, got that sweet mini build of Hoth for free and a ‘dark side’ free poster. Double vip points? Heck YeaH! Pleasantly surprised how nice a set this was, the build was fun highly detailed and in my opinion, probably the best version of the Tantive lV ever produced by Lego. There were only a few modifications I made to this set but heck that’s half the fun sometimes. First mod I added greebling inside the thruster pack with pieces already extra in the set with a few of my own. Second I added a UCS stand because it deserves it. And third I made a stand for all the awesome minifigs(so happy to get the exclusive new figs!) All and all I’m not surprised this set is on back order because it is so worth getting! Thanks Lego Dudes!"

"I can’t tell you how happy I was to pick this set up. The minifigures are an amazing update to a set long released many years ago, and although it’s not as Big as the previous(without the x-wing) I think it is a great smaller set to allow Fans to enjoy an iconic set at a low pricepoint especially now at the 40th Anniversary of the Star Wars franchise. The build was super fun and appreciated all the play action features packed in to recreate all the memories that go along with the scene. Luke by far is my favorite minifigure in this set...it was so great to get him so well updated, and really dig the “dirty” R2-D2 print as well. The Yoda minifig Head sculpt is probably the best I’ve seen in Lego form and Happy to get him as well. The only interesting hiccup is the way Yoda fits on Luke’s backpack harness, but that’s an easy fix, (I just placed Yoda’s Torso directly on the pack pack piece and used a couple of tan and lime green 1x1 wedges that were extra in the set to simulate one of yodas feet sticking out the bottom) pictured below:) All and all a Great set period. Thanks Lego!! I highly Recommend this set"

Everything you Need to recreate a Jedi Master in action
"This UCS set is a great piece to get your hands on, although it's retired....it's fairly easy to acquire without breaking the bank. This is a big set displayed...and sits Best with it's s-foils deployed in attack position. You can fit luke in the cockpit if you want but I suggest you have him sitting on a 2x2 plate and he looks ok. The large scale Allows for better detail throughout the Build. There aren't that many stickers but I highly recommend you follow Lego's instructions on the canopy windscreen as well as do a little research on application tips...because it's the hardest sticker to get right...fortunately, lego provides 2 precut sticker sheets for the canopy in case you mess up the first time. OverAll it's well worth the purchase and a great addition to your UCS collection, and if you are willing to go a little further I highly recommend building some nice landing gear(you can find that online too)...because the best view of the set in my opinion is the top view with the s-foils closed."

I went the extra mile for landing gear(about 50 pieces)
"This Set is Amazing, Big, Detailed, Fun to build, and a great representation of an Era Long Over Due to be Reawakened as the 50th anniversary nears to celebrate one of our Nations Greatest Achievements of Landing on the Moon. Hats off to the Designer and Lego Making this set a reality after years of voting and planning to release this epic Set through "Lego Ideas" platform. The Build is modular so you can have multiple peeps building different sections if you want. Each section has fun building techniques to get the S.N.O.T. Appearance and every Detail about the Build looks well thought out to get the best possible representation of this massive Saturn V rocket. One of the more suprising details about this Build is that there are NO stickers...everything has a beatiful print, so much appreciated! The playability is feasible because this is a Solid strong Build and "shooshing" isn't out of the question, plus all the stages can detach to reinact the entire moon mission from start to finish.(Great learning tool) Over all, this is impressive to say the least to proudly display for years to come...Beatiful Job... I highly recommend this set!"

This Thing is HUGE..towering over the Death Star-lol
"I've been really Looking forward to this set and it didn't disappoint. The Build was Fun and introduced some new CooL pieces in the process. The minifigs were super cool, even the buildable Droids were Awsome. The attention to detail was much appreciated. The play features were Cool, I especially liked the "force"feature to knock off the droids, but you need to take Care as they topple over easily. The Helmet feature was "Dope", a really nice Touch, but it also takes a little finesse to "lock on" to Darth's lava Stricken head, but getting it on is half the fun :P The Display Power of this little set is Awesome, I can honestly say I would rank this Set as one of my favorites next to the Cantina set, plus at this price point it's a Fun inexpensive way to Celebrate the "40th Anniversary of Star Wars". I highly recommend this set ...Thanks Lego!!"

The little Set has Great Display Power with Loads of Detail...Great Set!
"It was really nice to see a new Y-wing this year...and as far as Y-wings Go, this set is as good as it gets for a play set..."Thanks Rogue One!" The Build was super fun and introduced some cool build techniques( I like the use of the ice Skates) as well as some highly detailed greebling not usually the norm for a set like this. The Torpedo Bay Function was a nice surprise...but the cat doesn't like that much-lol The highlight for me were the mini figures...it was nice to get a different Acbar fish dude, a really Cool Astro Droid(great color combo), the pilot was "meh", allways love getting a storm trooper, and of course the best figure I thought was the battle armed Snow Wookie (It's too bad the movie didn't have more of this character in Rogue One). At any rate this set has a lot of really cool pieces to canabalize into your collection, and looks pretty cool next to its Big Brother the UCS Y-wing 10134. It was nice to see such great discounts on this set for May 4th across the market and it looks like you can still pick one of these up discounted for a limited time ...so I highly recommend racking up those VIP points and pick one of these up-Great set :)"

I didn't put the stickers on but overall this set has a lot of nice Detail-(nice touch with the ice skate pieces) good looking set
"I was never a Fan of the Slave one mainly because I thought it looked like something I would use to clean my car with-lol XD Plus episode 6 didn't do Boba Fett any favors...(I'm still wondering how the writers of episode 6 sleep at night) Anyways...Boba Fett and his Slave One really shine in Empire of episode 5 and to this date it's one of the most dramatic and beautiful films ever produced. That being said..I am SO GLAD Lego did such a great Job on this Set! If you are on the Fence like I was...I can tell you it's one of those builds you will Really appreciate and wonder why you even thought twice. I'm not Sure how long it will be around till retirement...but if I were a betting man I'd say soon with all the set changes through May 4th and episode 8 around the corner, but I digress...you never know...however, I for one was not going to miss out. I Definitely recommend this set!"

"I can't think of any other UCS build that screams "Star Wars" better than this set. There is Something about it that Draws you to it right away and you can't help but smile knowing you have this in your collection....the designer got it right...great display power! The Build isn't too difficult but Fun and Clever....and although the price per piece count is a bit high, the overall size and attention to detail more than makes up for it...for example ther are a lot of large plates that are not your average 10¢/piece simply because large plates are not cheap in general...so as far as Value is concerned, You are definitely getting your Money's worth. The Excusive Print on the tie fighter minifigure is a nice Bonus also-much appreciated. The overall Look is impressive, and if put next to the Largest UCS set(10179) it Towers above throwing an imperial Threat over your entire collection...Pictures don't do this set justice-just an Awsome product. If You can pick this one up before it retires...I highly Reccomend you do So as pricing usually goes through the roof on the open market."

"Why Would Storm Troopers want to slaughter Jawas?
"This set promises to endure the test of time as a UCS set. The Build is super fun, lots of iconic minifigures and great Attention was spent on detail designing it....much appreciated! I took my time and just enjoyed the process of building so I took a couple days to build and make some minor upgrades....although I'm waiting on some LED lighting parts to add to this Epic Set. I've heard split opinions on its playability vs. display appeal and I can honestly say yeah...if you completely redesign this thing and use an additional 2,000 pieces to incorporate SNOT technic and boost it to " minifigure" scale" ..sure you got a better sand crawler, however, at the Pricepoint Lego gave us and the extreme detail and thought that went into this I'm very happy as is. The only thing I actually improved on this set was the Sparse cockpit build...and borrowed some nice brown pieces from my Lord of the Rings "goblin King set":) Overall it's a great display piece and fully worthy of a UCS label...and would definitely reccomend this set."
