Hours of fun
" Hard to beat the play value of this one. Absolutely perfect for my 7 year old. Nothing in it that he could not build, but not too easy or boring to put together either. And one its built there are hours and hours of fun to be had. So many little details and things to create stories about. Plus it's a set you can add to and build upon pretty easily. Just great.

I made a mistake
" This is the first UCS I have built and it's so good that I fear no other set will ever reach the same standards. This is truly in a class of its own.
I put this together on and off over about a week while on vacation. The build is interesting and challenging, and the final product is magnificent as a lego kit, but also as a piece of 'art'. There is even a bit of play element to it, and the minifigures are a really nice inclusion.
Even the price is reasonable for the piece count. I hope this (and not the easy to build UCS tie fighter) is an indication of the direction UCS are taking,
Highly highly recommended.
