"The Palace Cinema is awesome. The only thing that I can criticize is the fact that there are only six seats. It represents a classic cinema in every aspect, from the marquee to the concessions stand. The detail is amazing! I think it is better as a corner building because you get to see more of exterior detail that is essential to make it look like a real-life cinema. I also like the included car because it adds to the glory of the structure. One-hundred-fifty dollars may be a lot of money, but the Palace Cinema is worth every cent."
"This set is awesome, as all LEGO Modulars are. It makes a really good gift. The technique is mind-blowing, which makes it really cool to look at. Not only is visually appealing, but it's very play-friendly. The well-done interior and easily removable stories make it perfect for playing. My favorite parts are the billboard, window-washer, and chandalier. Really well-built."
"This set is awesome, as all LEGO Modulars are. It is really well built, with eye-catching details and colors. The Fire Truck was a nice addition; I like the concept of a modular with a vehicle. It's a very play-friendly set, with easily removable stories and great interior detail. The refrigerator and ping-pong table on the second floor are really cool. Not only is it fun to play with, but it's cool to look at. A very nice touch to a LEGO city."
"This set is awesome, as all LEGO modulars are. It's definitely on the small side, but it's still really cool. The stairway up to the rooms above the pet shop folds up to make it easier to play inside the shop, which has some pretty cool animals. Even though there's two separate buildings, I think they look better together. Really well-designed."
"This set is awesome. I got it for my birthday and stayed up on New Year's Eve building it. It took me about 6 hours; it's quite a big set! It dominates all the other modulars in terms of size and complexity. As you might have seen, it features an elevator, auditorium, front desk, office, and meeting room. It's also very play-friendly. I like to drop minifigures off of the 3-story mezzanine above the auditorium."

"This set is awesome. Lego tracks are, in general. The flexible tracks are excellent for awkward spaces and train yards, and the straight tracks are much-needed. If you've purchased a lot of LEGO trains, you'll know what I mean. It would be even better if LEGO sold just straight tracks, because I've got so many curved rails from all the trains I've purchased that I don't know what to do with them."
"When I first saw this set on Lego.com, I immediately wanted it. I saved up my holiday money and purchased it the morning it came out. My brother purchased one, too, and we built ours together. The finished project is awesome. We put ours back-to-back to create a 5-foot-long train. That's longer than I am tall! Check out my photos if you so desire. The only thing I can criticize is the drawers on the drinks table keep falling out. By the way, either it coincidentally looks exactly like the TGV in France, or it was designed based on it and that wasn't communicated to us."
