"I’ve been looking at this set of over a dozen minifigures for almost a year. It’s a great value. Each figure costs less than they would if purchased individually, AND you get accessories. My one complaint … they include a volleyball?? A smooth, round piece of white plastic that’ll get lost fast. Bad idea. Overall, a really great set."
"I debated for several months about building this or leaving the pieces sealed in the box. I was expecting each set to be in its own plastic bag. They are not. It’s an all or nothing build. They were easy to assemble, and have great play value, being additions to school scenes or explorations."
"I like the modular format, but the connections between modules need to be improved. Just moving the structure can cause sections to separate. The build itself is quite detailed, with many small pieces creating intricate architectural highlights. The 250 page instruction book has clear pictures, but is rather daunting to look at. I suggest purchasing a 10700,or similar, baseplate to stabilize this."
"Three minifigures and a vehicle. Great! I received this as a gift. The set is VERY easy to complete. 15 of the 76 pieces go for minifigures. The play value is high, as you can create several adventures using the pieces as assembled via the instructions."
"This is a fun set that can be used to tie larger sets together. The train can virtually take your mini figures from place to place. Setting the train between two sets provides an attractive display. I added a penguin for a bit of comedy. There are many small pieces with this set. If you are prone to lose them or have a child who does not do well with fine motor skills, this might not be the greatest choice."
"This little set is great because the pieces can be set side-by-side in so many combinations. I would recommend this set for both children who want to play and for adults who want to put it on the shelf."
"I say it took an hour to build, but I was watching television.
A nice set. Good play quality. Many pieces can interchange. The scarecrow can have green or yellow arms, and you can easily change the head’s top piece to any extra hat you have. Extra single leaves can be added to the tree so it has different colored leaves, or can be placed on the ground as fallen leaves. I added a single brown round to the 2nd bird’s neck to give it some height. This set may end up in front of the TV until the, holiday is over."
"This very cute set provides lots of options for play. There are many interchangeable pieces both in and out of the shop itself. It combines well with other sets for play."
