"Interesting idea to offer these affordable sets that represent city skylines. Simple build, nice display piece. This set, I assume, is intended as a representation of the city and not an exact map of the city. A nice follow up would be a creator sized set of the Chrysler building.
Thanks for another set in this true AFOL series. Well done."
"Lego is tackling this theme for a second time. This set is a much better representation of the subject matter than the first effort and a welcome addition to the archetecture series. Easy build, reasonable price. Remember, 'repetitive build' comments have no place when discussing archetecture series sets. Virtually every real building is an exercise in repetitive action. Nice set and welcome addition to a true AFOL collection."
".....for another modular. Of course, to remove it from something that looks like it belongs in an eight year olds bedroom, I'll have to buy five of these, combine them into one mega bank and lose the lame laundromat idea."
"The occasional reissue of a classic is a welcome change from Lego. While I have the original version, I enjoyed the build again and appreciate the design 'tweaks'."
"As usual, this is a nice representation of the subject matter. The build is straight forward and easy. With that said, how about a large piece count set in this series for adult collectors? Not the usual 'AFOL' set where the 'A' stands for, at best, 'adolescent'. Adult fans of Lego can afford 4,000 piece sets."
"This is a nice tribute to the Big Bang Theory and is reasonably priced. The set speaks for itself. Any short comings are easily remedied by adding a few bricks of your own. Colors work, mini figs work, overall completed result is pleasing. Nice opportunity to expand the set as your creativity allows. Add the kitchen area? This set can also be used as an interior for a modular building."
"If you evaluate this product on a price per piece basis, you're missing the point. This set is worth every penny as the basis for a corporate team building event. It is not intended for the typical Lego enthusiast."
"Some automotive designs, like the classic VW Beetle and the VW van, work well with Lego. Other automotive designs, well, not so much. I ordered this today as I enjoy building the large piece count sets. But, the Lego version of the F40 looks like it's been involved in a chain reaction collision with the front and back being pushed towards the center creating a blocky, chunky appearance and not reflective of the F40s sleek aero design."
