While the character dialog is well done, I'm disappointed that Mr T didn't voice the character. I have no idea why BA carries around and drinks from a baby bottle, but it is really amusing.
I LOVE the A-Team adventure world. It is true to the TV series, the `80s, and has so much great content. VERY well done.
I'm frustrated that there are now in-game master build platforms that it seems ONLY BA can use. Basically forcing a player to buy the figure to get mini-kit parts in non-related levels. I find this both insulting to the other master builder characters in the game, and a put down to the folks that created the amazing A-Team adventure world. It is worth buying this set for the character and the adventure world it unlocks, Tt didn't need to specialize master build spots to force us to buy him."
"I've had a great time playing with Jake and LSP. They have entertaining dialog and I like leaving them on the toypad just to have the characters around during play. LSP doesn't fly. She does belch rainbows and throws her phone. Jake does any number of transforms, and I haven't worked out how to use them. It would be great to have an in game tutorial to showcase his talents.
BMO is dear to me. Great dialogue and the portal for fun mindless minigames to get minikits. I would have preferred to have BMO in a mini-fig scale for display, and hope that LEGO will make a set with such a figure.
So far as the LSP car. I just can't even--it turned into a whale thing that hops around like a grasshopper. I have no idea what to do with it, but it is fun and that is enough."
"This level had the mixed blessing of being VERY long. It seemed like a few hours of playtime. While it has checkpoints that I think are intended to be hopping off points for stopping and restarting, I've had bad experiences with having to start from scratch on other Dimensions level packs, and didn't risk it.
I enjoyed the combination of clear direction about what needs to be done to advance without the tasks being too easy or repetitive. I also enjoyed discovering the mechanism of grounding flying characters, so the player can't just fly past all obstacles.
The motorcycle is a fun build, and not dissimilar from Krusty Clown's vehicle. The car is redundant and pretty useless if you already have a vehicle with tow capability. There is nothing particularly special about the minifigure, but I'm looking forward to seeing if his suspension harness ability is used elsewhere.
Unlike the Ghost Busters 2016 story pack, and the Adventure Time level pack, I didn't experience any crashes with this level."
""If every pork chop was perfect, we wouldn't have hot dogs."
This set was fun to put together and I like it enough that I'll keep in "on display" in my home. I don't care for the impossibly skinny Friends doll figures, so I replaced them with the pigs in the 75824 Pig City Teardown set which also has a hot dog stand.
I'm looking forward to seeing how MOC architecture builders will use the new hot dog bun piece.
This set has at least six stickers, and one in particular that is a whole 6x4 panel big and difficult to put on straight. I don't like putting the stickers on, and they NEVER age well."
"This isn't very pretty but it is sturdy and will hold up to play. There are several well done mechanisms like the ladder stairs that automatically fold up and down as the tower is opened and closed, and the concealed chute that dumps debris down on the steps.
There are plenty of unfinished corners in the basement that are begging to be furnished and filled in, and the under stairs cell could also use some polishing/filling in.
The light looks good when lit, but the weather vane switch mechanism feels frail and could use some improvement.
I love two new (to me) pieces in this set, the tassle elements that hang down from the lanterns hanging on the rope from the tower to the dock, and the modified plates that are like a 1x1 round plate with a clip bar on the side that are used to anchor the curvy decorative elements to the corners of the tower. I would love to get ahold of more of both of those elements.
I love the Echo Zane and Tai-D robot figures that I believe are exclusive to this set."
"I could imagine if someone liked pocket pets types of pretend play toys that this would be a good fit, but I didn't find the build very interesting and will likely give away the figure.
I do like the color palate of the pieces and hope to used the pastels in my Cloud Cuckoo builds and the gold for pirate and Ninjago builds."
"I love the new stud to grip connector included in this set. In the photos, it is the clear piece between Spiderman's hand and the web. It will be a great piece for micro builds.
There are three decent minifigs included for the not unreasonable price. I didn't care for either of the vehicles, nor the news stand/traffic light display and immediately scrapped them for parts."
"I bought this set for the silver Zane hair, but should have spent a bit more to get the same piece with the Titanium Tumbler set.
The set doesn't seem to have any unique or interesting pieces, wasn't particularly fun to build or play with. I almost immediately took it apart.
While the set has many minifigures for the price, they aren't very well done. Giant Stone Warrior and Captain Soto have the exact same print on the torso, right down to the 86753 inmate number. The guard is so generic it could be in many sets."
