Should've came with more
" Sorry but I am really disappointed with the new superheroes theme. We are generally being reintroduced to an old theme just for the sake of the promotion of the Dark Knight Rises movie coming later this year.
This set itself is merely a rehash of the previous Catwoman motorcycle a couple of years back. With a small cycle and some traffic lights, there's really little play value included. The figures themselves are great but sadly we only get two and batman himself is quite common. A set priced around this normally comes with 3 or 4 good figures so surely they could've brought in more.
All in all the real only purpose for this set is simply for the new figures but even they can't justify the $16 CAD price tag. Although you're not paying a lot at first, you may be generally getting into a theme that pales to what Star Wars offers. Don't get me wrong, new liscened themes are great for we got introduced to the amazing POTC theme in 2011. But if you take a theme that has so little in its universe, a certain "wow" factor is missing. If you remember the Ben 10 theme from a few years back, you surely know what I mean. Batman is that certain theme.
A C- set.

Wheel of Fortune
" The Mill is made to represent the Isla Cruces scene from PotC 2 and it has done so with stunning detail and minifigures. The Mill definitely has some fantastic things going on including accessories, visual appeal, minifigures, and a poster but is only hindered through playability. Had the Mill brought in more things from the movie, this would no doubt be the best land-based PotC set.
Minifigures:
The minifigures here are very pleasing and I am pretty sure everyone is going to love Hadras. He’s very original and has a very detailed and eye-catchy appearance – great for PofC and Atlantis alike. James Norrington is quite nice too and I enjoyed how his appearance reflected the character. Jack and Will are great as recurring characters. You are getting good minifigures here.10/10
Visual Appeal:
The visual appeal is so great for a $50 CAD set that it has outbeaten London Escape in terms of look and is on par with Whitecap Bay. The decision to focus on one main building gives the church an imposing appearance. Along with foliage and structural design, the Mill very well represents the same building on a smaller scale and I have to say, it’s quite original. The wheel certain completes it.10/10
Playability:
I don’t want to admit it but this set wasn’t very exciting to me in terms of playability. Yes, it looks good but the play features aren’t the best and there isn’t much room to have a fight going on inside or on the church. Although the bell feature can hold up a minifigure, it can’t work independently and there isn’t much space to begin with. Although the wheel can roll off the church, I got quite bored of it after a while. The figures can certainly be fighting in the wheel but it’s a different story outside the wheel. Not the best in terms of playability. 7/10
Accessories and poster:
We are getting some great accessories which include a fish, a snake, two keys, a bottle, a flintlock, the Dead Man’s Chest, and the heart of Davy Jones. There are certainly some fun accessories going here. The poster should have been made bigger for it’s the same size as that from 4181.10/10
Overall, I really liked this set and I feel it’s one of the better PotC sets. Had they came up with better play features, I would certainly give it a better rating. I definitely recommend this set to PotC and other LEGO fans. A-

Unoriginal and worst Delta7B by far
" Star Wars sets have been slowly been getting worse in play experience over the years for much of the same sets have been repeated. Little did we expect that accuracy will taken into effect as well for a set like this making it difficult to establish the other 3 Delta7Bs to be authentic to the onscreen appearance. While some may consider this starfighter to be sophisticated compared to that of Anakin and Ahsoka's, I can easily prove how terrible the Delta7B models have turned out.
The thing I liked about Anakin and Ahsoka's starfighters was that they were similiar in design so the Delta7Bs would remain true to a particular design. Save for the main features, Anakin and Ahsoka's starfighters offered a lot in playability.
The problem with this starfighter is that it completely altered the nature of the Delta7B. They got rid of how the wings could position and the 2 guns underneath. The landing gear is also lower now. They eliminated the bottom cannons and added too much stickers making the entire starfighter choppy in appearance. If you see the Mace Windu starfighter set, the cannons were removed completely. PK's starfighter has completely ruined the authenticity of the LEGO Delta 7B. Ahsoka's starfighter has been the most authentic Delta7B overall so collectors will not be pleased.
Play experience is absolutely horrible - worse than the average land base set. LEGO has tried to mask this fact by adding a feature that launches the pilot out of the cockpit. It's still difficult to play with nonetheless for the height has veen lowered making landing gear poorly placed if one was to shift it. With even less positioning functions and nothing really else, there's not much you can do with this set that you hadn't done with the previous Delta 7B. Children will be bored with this set within a day.
While it's great to see the return of an old set, re-releasing the same model is completely unnecessary. If you never have owned a Delta 7B, the purchase is okay but if you do own a Delta 7B, you are better off not having the same model that has been ruined in play experience and authenticity. The only good thing I can say is about the figures but this set is still atrocous alteration for both the child and the collector.
A D- set.

I've found them, repeat, I've found them
" I recently got this on sale and I am not disappointed. This set made a perfect addition to my Hoth collection that consisted of 7749 Echo Base, and both battlepacks. The figures are well-detailed and both the cave and speeder have something to bring as well.
For the figures, Luke Skywalker and the Wampa are the exclusives and therefore the most appealing figures here. Hoth Luke makes a great entry with a double printed and detailed torso. The wampa is very special for it's fur actually stands out and the arms can preform various functions. The left can hold minifigures and both are detachable from the body.
The cave is main designed for play and although play is fun, it can't hide some downsides. The play features include the studs to hold luke upside-down and the lightsaber catapult feature. The downside is that the cave is merely an entrance and it still doesn't depict the scene too well. It is quite difficult to simply have the Wampa enter the cave.
The snowspeeder is nearly identical to that from 2007 but this time, it has stickers to show that it's under the call-sign of rogue two.The speeder does resemble its namesake and it has some cool features. For one, the cokcpit can open for one pilot and two pilots. The tow cable is nice if not too short. It only measures 45 cm which isn't long when you consider the length needed to encircle an Imperial Walker. Stickers are quite annoying as well. Still, the speeder is very fun to play with and definitely needed if you don't already have one.
Overall, the set has a lot to offer if only not taken away by some hideous downsides. The price is a bit too extreme for this set so it may be best to find it on sale. But what really adds to the set is how it can add to other hoth sets - especially either echo bases.
Pros:
great figures
good speeder
okay cave
Cons:
short string,
small cave
price
stickers

Not terrible but nothing truly special
" This set is not an ideal purchase. Despite its striking qualities, it's a set that you would be better without. With a bunch of amazing sets out there, this will probably be the one that you'll be least likely to buy.
The appearance of the Turbo Tank is strikingly detailed for it's about as accurate as it can get. The wheels give a good impression and the look is sleek. The design reflects upon the Turbo Tank seen in a Clone Wars episode.
The design is well done. It managed to give the tanke a imposing appearance and usable cockpits. It's relatively easy to play inside the cockpits and we get a weapon storage as well. While I may be opting for the design and look, the rest goes down hill from here.
It's very difficulty to pay inside the main cabin. There's only enough space for about seven troops as it was mainly designed for vehicles. it can only be accessible from the sides making playability extremely difficult. Getting items out of the storage boxes is very dfficult as well as annoying. you can't even get the cabin door fully down without breaking off a piece.Play features at the top also interfere with play as the missile is far too close to the handle.
The biggest complaint I have above all is the choice of minifigures. With a huge price of $160 CAD, surely they'll give us more exclusive minifigures. But in the end, we get only 1. The rest have been repeated throughout other sets. If you are buying this just for Aayla Secura, you should turn away for you can get much more worthwhile minifigures in other sets.
As for the walker, it's a smart design but I am sure you can make your own from spare parts. There's no need to get a huge tank just for the walker.
The size isn't huge for the AT-TE was the same size yet much cheaper. Do not think this is a monstrous purchase.
I have owned this set since last christmas and I wish I can take back this choice. This is ultimately a set for the avid army builder but offers very little for the average Star Wars fan. The entire thing is pretty boring and pointless if you already own a Republic tank like the AT-TE which I consider one of the greatest Star Wars set by far.5/10

Yes, those bugs can aim!
" I remember being taken back by the premier of the "Landing at Point Rain" episode and ever since that, I had been hoping for a set that reflects upon it. This is the very set that I have been looking for and I was lucky to fiind it 20% off. As a Clone Wars fan, this set doesn't disappoint.
The size of the starfighter isn't huge like Vader's TIE fighter but it too small like the swamp speeder. It's rather within reasonable size for the price.
The colour scheme works really well for I like the flow of the brown and grey colours so it's relatively eye catchy. The design is much more accurate to the Nantex-class fighters in the Attack of the Clones and the Clone Wars. Everything matches what it should look like.
The minifigures in this set are great collectibles as well. Cody has been difficult to get in the past for I could never find the gunship in stores but I am glad that I finally got him. Mundi is a fantastic Jedi with and amazing detailed head piece and double-printed torso. The head mould for the Geonosian is very authentic and combined with gold prinitning, the geonosian is one of the best figures out there.
The only problem that you may have to consider is the price which is too high for this set. Try to look for a sale whereever you can so you can save a few bucks on this purchase.
The set is a marked improvement over the previous Nantex-class fighter so I strongly recommend getting it. WIth an awesome fighter and great minifigures, it's difficult to say no. If you looking for an unboxing of this set, look for me on youtube. My channel is "501clonetrooper". "

Great Dooku, mediocre watch
" I have mixed feelings about this purchase for I like the minifigure but I found the watch to have big problems. I found my watch for $10 CAD but I probably wouldn't have bought it at regular price.
Count Dooku is great. He's difficult to get for the Solar Sailer has been discontinued. The quality of the minifigure is just the same as the quality in any other set which is a plus side as I am sick of the poor quality figures that comes in the magnet sets. This watch does not I repeat DOES NOT come with the curved hilt rather just a regular one.
To be honest, the watch isn't that great. One of the main links is so loose that it always falls off at a 90 degree. If you are not careful with the medal knob, you can easily pull it off allowing no change in time for daylight savings. Sadly I did so once winter rolls over, the watch is pretty much useless.
On the bright side, the watch did fit my wrist and I am a teenager. With all the links, the watch should fit everyone unless you have a really big wrist.
Sorry LEGO, the watch is really cheap to me. The only reason why I gave it a decent rating is that it had Count Dooku who is a rare and important character in the Star Wars trilogy. Despite this qualtiy minifigure, the quality of the watch will make you think twice before getting this set. "

The greatest Star Wars set of all-time!
" Rarely do LEGO Star Wars sets have great value, good minifigures, high playability, and great aesthetics altogether-set 8038 does. 8038 is the must-have centrepiece of all the Return of the Jedi sets and will make a great addition any LEGO Star Wars collection.
This set has an excellent pool of minifigures with a grand total of 12 – 6 of them exclusive. To start off, the rebel commandoes are awesome for having detailed torsos and exclusive helmets, useful for the alliance army. Also for the alliance, you get an exclusive Leia with a great hair mould and double-printed torsos. Ewoks, just what any Star Wars fan hopes for. Not only did I like how the Ewoks have great moulds with hoods that hold printing and coloured eyes, they are also unique to their respective names. The non-exclusive minifigs are also a welcomed addition with Han (newer face now), Biker Scouts, and Death Star trooper being the meat of it.
Aside from the great-looking figures, the set has great aesthetics. The AT-ST is an improvement over its predecessors, for its appearance is more closer to the movies while being more-minifigure scaled. The speeder bikes are very generic but great look overall. The imperial bunker has its walls angled; roofs outlined, and inside decorated accordingly- a very accurate depiction of the imperial bunker. I enjoyed the catapult and glider enjoyed as well.
As for stability, this set is fragile and quite loosely connected. The Ewok glider’s sails aren’t connected strongly and can easily fall off. The AT-ST’s side panels can come apart and it’s a pain to reconnect them without pulling apart the AT-ST itself. The base isn’t fastly secured and the side panels aren’t connected to the base at all. The rest is OK.
Playability wise, this set is pretty much complete as you have all the characters and items you need to recreate scenes from the Battle of Endor. Unlike other sets where you need a set from the opposing side to accompany it, there’s a fair amount for both the Alliance and Empire. Add-ons aren’t necessary and they are quite easy to acquire such as the cheap Ewok attack. The set itself you can use to recreate classic scenes as well as making your own battles.
For Star Wars fans, this is a must-have collector’s piece. The AT-ST, minifigures, and the set itself makes a unique and important addition to your Star Wars collection. While the set has its design problems, the appearance, value, and minifigures more than make up for it. Best set that I ever own. A+ "

Good battlepack but I've seen better
" I recently purchased this set and I have to say that I enjoyed it. The figures that come with this set are pretty good and the rest of the set has its advantages.
The officer and AT-AT driver are the newer figures in this set and they are well-detailed for they both have double-sided torsos The imperial officer now looks much more like General Veers when he was in the AT-AT with the armour over the uniform. The AT-AT driver's helmet is simply amazing as it has a new mould and it's details gives it the right look.
I never had the speeder bike before and now that I have one I can't say I am impressed. The whole bike is connected with 1 attachment and although it allows the speeder to turn, the attachment can still break easily. The cannons don't align well but the speeder has a good aesthetic look overall and a minifigure can fit there easily. The base looks pretty cheap to me and it isn't so easy to put a weapon on the rack but the printed piece is useful. There really isn't much more I can say about this set. I liked the rebel trooper one better for the speeder on that has more playability and that battle pack has more figures which are new.
None of the new battle packs are big in any way because the big battle packs were made prior to 2010. The imperial officer and AT-AT driver makes up for what you are paying for but if you already own 8129, this set may be usless to you. If your are looking to purchase a battle pack, you can definitely get better. B "

An iconic set that everbody will enjoy
" In the Empire Strikes Back, we all got introduced to the iconic Boba Fett and his ship the Slave 1; this set well represents the scene when he leaves Cloud City and it's definitely a must-have. I am a huge fan of the Star Wars originally trilogy and I am proud to own such an iconic starship with such enjoyable minifigures.
I was blown away by the minifigures as I found them to be well detailed amd highly enjoyable. You get the iconic Boba Fett and he's very accurate to the movie - lmost too accurate. Boba's helmet shows the silver battle scars and his torso has the mandolorian ensign along with the awesome cape. His head very well represents Jango's. Bossk has a very accurate head and a double-printed torso with good detail of his suit. Han's torso is great and what I like about it is that his shirt is compressed to his chest similiar to how he's carbonited. The carbonited version of han is amazing and it has great details including the control panels on the side and I liked how it can actually fit Han - it's much better than the previous one.
I was surprised about the size of this ship and I found it to be fairly big when looking from all angles. The design was great for the ship is sturdy when finished, accurate to the movie, and has great play features. Although the main body of the ship is strong, the wings are loosely connected with the cockpit, boarding ramp, and several other parts tendiing to fall off easily but thoese are really the only flaws of this design. With play features, there are several compartments and a box. Several play features include the rapid fire flick missile feature which is fun but the feature that truly stands out is how the wings always remain parallel to the ground allowing the seat to adjust when in flight mode. Brilliant although used design.
Aesthetic wise, the Slave 1 stands out with a red and green colours as well as amazing details. The colour scheme well represents the film and EU designs alike. The details include stickers of the mandolorian symobol but it would of been better if the details were printed. Unlike the back of most ships, this one actually hasa great look for it includes the big engines bordered with bricks. Overall, the design, colour scheme, and stickers give it a great looks.
Younger builders will have great difficulty building this at the beginning for parts wouldn't easily stick together but once through those difficult steps. The build becomes much easier. An experienced builder will greatly enjoy a bit more of a challenging build.
Now you may be at the quetion of whether you should 8097. If you don't own 6209, then this set is a must but if you do own 6209, it will still be great to pick it up for the figures nad carbonited Han. The pricing of this set is very expensive and the piece count may not be high but a good set nonetheless. I was lucky to find mines on sale but if I purchased it for the original price, I would still have no regrets of having purchased such an iconic starship from the original trilogy. Fans would love it for the minifigs and ship, kids will love it for the playability, and adults will love it for the appearance. An A+ set. "
