Cool episode 2 starter
" The Tank Droid is an amazing set for the small price of £19.99 and it comes with Jango.
The Clone has the regular Phase I armour and helmet along with a big rifle. The battle droid has the Geonosian desert colour as seen in episode 2. The droid also has a blaster. Jango has new armour pieces and his face is the same as Boba's with a smirk and lots of scars. He comes with a silver jetpack and two pistols.
The Tank Droid itself has the track tyre that was seen on its predecessor. It has the two orange 'eyes' with levers behind them. There are also flick fire missiles on either side of the droid and guns beneath them.
Here is my conclusion:
Minifigures: 10/10
Set: 10/10
Pros: FIgures, tank, no stickers
Cons: None

Up into the tree
" Out of all the Hobbit sets this was my favourite. It has 5 minifigures and 2 really awesome Wargs.
Minifigures: My favourite minifigure in the Hobbit theme is Thorin Oakenshield who has an extremely detailed torso with his blue fur coat and a belt filled with emeralds and sapphires. He has Kili's hair and his face has a normal expression and one that is yelling. His weapons are a shortsword and ax but I replaced his sword with a chrome greatsword to make it look more like Orcrist. The other dwarf is Bifur who has a detailed rubber hairpiece and beard with the ax piece embedded in his forehead. His weapon is a spear and his head has a smile and an angry expression. The antagonists included are 2 hunter Orcs and Yazneg who has a new armour piece and a bone axe. The hunter Orcs are the same as Mordor Orcs but have hairpieces and different legs. One carries an old sword and the other has a bow and quiver.
The Wargs are extremely detailed and have poseable heads and jaws. They have saddles and removable brick pieces if a minifigure is not using them.
The first part of the set is the rocky outcrop which has a skull and bone hidden beneath it. The outcrop is used by the white Warg as a perch. Next is the catapult which you can attach to the outcrop if you wish and it is used to launch the dwarves into the tree or to shoot rocks at our small heroes. The main part is the tree which can rotate so you can have it however you want. The first part has a gold nugget hidden in the trunk and there are new mushroom pieces on the ground. There are places to put the dwarves and the other play feature is the flame shooter which are used to keep the Wargs at bay. The final part of the set are the flames which can be placed under the tree to "burn" it.
Here is my conclusion:
Minifigures: 9/10
Wargs: 10/10
Set: 10/10
Pros: No stickers, Thorin, Orcs, Bifur, Wargs, tree, flames, rocky outcrop and catapult.
Cons: No Azog the Defiler and could have included one more Warg.
All in all it is a fantastic set and a must buy.

Take out those clankers!
" This is an awesome set for £29.99. The minifgures were really cool-especially the new Stass Allie.
The minifigures are accurately chosen for this scene and I like the Phase 1 clones which are seen in various sets released this year and this particular clone carries a large rifle. Stass Allie is new and exclusive and her face has purple eyes and her Tholoth headdress is new and very detailed. The other minifigures are 2 super battle droids.
The dwarf spider droid has 4 poseable legs as well as a turret at the front. The homing spider droid is largely made up of TECHNIC pieces and has poseable legs, moving lower turret and a flick fir missile at the very top. Both turrets have pipe pieces attached to them. The droids head also moves.
Here is my conclusion:
Minifigures: 10/10
Set: 9/10
Pros: Minifigures, droids, no stickers, TECHNIC elements
Cons: Could have added one more clone or a battle droid commander.
Overall it is a great set with awesome figures and droids

Destroy the spiders
" Another small and awesome Hobbit set. 4 exclusive minifigures, 2 big spiders, 2 small spiders and two trees.
Fili: A cool dwarf. Fili is armed with a quiver and 2 shortswords. His face has a happy and an angry expression.
Kili: The second dwarf included in the set. Kili has a bow and quiver. His face has a normal and an angry expression.
Legolas: This version of Legolas is different because he has gold armour. He carries a bow and his face is double sided with a normal and angry expression.
Tauriel: An elf in the Desolation of Smaug. Tauriel carries 2 golden daggers which were used in the Prince of Persia theme.
Now onto the set itself. First are the large spiders which have poseable legs and glow in the dark eyes. Next is the small tree which has a brown vine piece at the top as well as a peg holding a small bow. There is also a small bone and skull next to the tree. The main part of the set is the large tree which has two small spiders on it. The tree has new and exclusive red leaves on the top as well as two exclusive cocoons to hold Fili and Kili captive. The bottom is decorated with skulls and brown vines hang off the tree. The new mushroom pieces are also included. The play features allow you to shoot the small glow in the dark spider out of the burrow and pulling a lever out topples the tree to rescue the dwarves.
Here is my conclusion:
Pros: Figures, spiders, new leaves, trees, features, mushroom, no stickers.
Cons: None

Bring forth the Ring, Frodo.
" This set impressed me despite its dimunitive size and price of £29.99. It has brand new bricks and 2 exclusive figures.
Frodo Baggins: Frodo is same except he has no cape and a new double sided head piece with a worried and an angry expression. His accessories are Sting and the Ring.
Gimli: Gimli is also the same but has a medium sized axe.
Arwen Evenstar: She is an exclusive miifigure and has new pieces. Her face has a frown and a normal expression. Arwen carries a bow and has a blue dress.
Lord Elrond: The second exclusive minifigure included in the set. Elrond has a unique cape like Aragorn's where it has two different colours. The outside is red and the inside is brown. His head is double sided with a smile and an angry expression. All his parts are exclusive and he carries an Elvish spear.
The first part of the set is the inside which has a weapon storage rack for two weapons that the minifigures carry with them. The roof is extremely detailed with tiles, new Elvish architecture and microfigure statues. Outside is the council room with three chairs for Elrond, Frodo and Gimli and in the centre is the table where the Ring is placed. Also included is a tree with new autumn coloured leaves on the trees. The feature in the set is the catapulting podium which re-enacts a scene in the movie where Gimli attempts to destroy the Ring with his axe but is launched back. Another accurate part of the set is Sauron's hidden eye which is also a part in the movie.
Here is my conclusion:
Minifigures: 10/10
Set: 9/10
Pros: Minifigures, features, new bricks, leaves.
Cons: Stickers, price

We have only to remove those who oppose us
" This set is a valuable part of your LOTR collection and goes well with Orthanc. I really like the set in its entirety and the fact it has movie accurate accessories, figures and play features.
Lurtz: He is an exclusive minifigure. Lurtz has a new torso covered in dirt and a new double sided head piece with the White hand of Saruman and a snarl. He carries a sword and shield and can wear armour too.
Uruk-hai: The regular Uruk-hai included in various LOTR sets. However he has the White hand on his helmet and has armour, a sword and a shield also bearing the White hand.
Mordor Orcs: One of the Orcs is bald and has a shovel. The second Orc is exclusive to this set because he has a rare Orc hairpiece. His accessory is a hammer.
The Forge itself is very detailed and has many objects that are seen in the movie. The Orc equipment includes an anvil and a blacksmith's forge which has spaces to hold the Uruk-hai swords. The main part of the set is the weapon construction area where you attach a basket full of silver bricks and use the winch to raise it. Then you can pour the bricks down the chute into the cauldron and place it on the furnace and push a brick in which lights the flames up. There is also an Uruk-hai birth pit where Uruks can be pulled out of which is also seen in the movie.
Here is my conclusion:
Minifigures: 9/10
Set: 10/10
Pros: Figures, no stickers, forge, features.
Cons: No Saruman
Overall it is a great set in your LOTR collection.

The dreaded Rancor has arrived
" Upon seeing this set I just had to buy it. Now onto the minifigures.
Luke Skywalker: Luke has a double sided face with a smile and an angry expression: His accessory is a large bone.
Malakili: This figure is new and exclusive. Malakili has a new torso print with hairs and rags. His face also is also double sided with a normal expression and the other is sad. He also wears a hood and carries a vibroblade.
Gamorrean Guard: The guard is the same in set 9516 but has a chicken leg instead of an ax.
Rancor: The main feature of the entire set. The rancor's arms, hands, fingers and mouth are poseable. He can clutch a figure in his hands and they can fit in his mouth. I also think that is it good that Lego designed another Star Wars animal.
Now onto the pit. The pit is a great set when combined with Jabba's Palace allowing the re-enactment of the scene in the movie. There is an opening rock for Luke to hide in. Next is Malakili's room with a key, bucket and a rake. As well as this is the portcullis which can be lifted up and held in position and then dropped down on top of the Rancor. Also there is a crate and a skeleton along with a hidden area on the floor on top of the skull containing several bones.
Here is my conclusion:
Minifigures: 10/10
Rancor: 100/10
Set: 9/10
Pros: Rancor, figures, features, no stickers.
Cons: None

Stop that train!
" This set is so cool. A full train track, 7 minifigures, a horse, 3 wagons and more. Now for the figures:
Lone Ranger: Same in all sets except 79110. Carries two revolvers.
Tonto: Same in all other sets except 79110. Carries a shovel and a pocket watch.
Danny Reid: Danny is exclusive to this set and has an wears a suit. His face is double sided with a normal and scared expression. He carries a tile brick with a printed slingshot on it.
Rebecca Reid: Rebecca is also exclusive to this set and has a double sided face with a brave and a scared expression.
Butch Cavendish: Butch has a revolver and a hat attached to his hairpiece. His face has an evil smile on one side and a snarl on the other side. He carries a revolver.
Latham Cole: Latham is exclusive and wears a black hat. His face has a thick beard and he carries a rifle.
Captain J. Fuller: Fuller is also exclusive. He has a hairpiece that is new and exclusive. His torso and legs are new with blue uniform and gold buttons. Fuller's face is also double sided with a determined and angry expression. Fuller has a sword and sheath.
Now onto the set. First is Silver the horse who is exactly the same as in set 79106. There is also an exploding rock which blows up into two parts when a TECHNIC lever is pushed down. Dynamite can also be attached to the rock. Next is the water tower which has a large barrel at the top containing water bricks. The tower can be toppled when a brick is pushed back. The tower also has dynamite next to it as well as a shrivelled shrub. The main part of the set is the train. The first wagon is very detailed with a bell and steam horn. The second wagon is the coal car with coal pieces scattered around and a hidden area for Danny. Then there is the gatling gun which rotates increasing the playability factor. Next to that is a barrel, bottle and a crate containing silver nuggets and silver bars. The final wagon has sliding doors and the back blows off. The train is also magnetaically attached and comes with 20 track pieces.
Here is my conclusion:
Minifigures: 10/10
Set: 10/10
Pros: Figures, train, tower, play features
Cons: Stickers

Save the Silver
" This is the second largest set in the Lone Ranger theme and is my personal favourite because of the amount of play features and traps.
Now onto the minifigures.
Lone Ranger: The Lone Ranger is different in this set and this version is exclusive. He has an angry expression and his torso, legs and face are covered in dust and dirt. I really like this idea so two thumbs up for Lego.
Tonto: Tonto is also different and is exclusive. He also has dirt all over his legs, torso and face too.
Chief Big Bear: He is exclusive to this set and has a new torso, head and hairpiece too which are extremely detailed. He has a double sided face with a normal and scared expression. Big Bear has a quiver and bow.
Butch Cavendish: The main antagonist of TLR. Cavendish has a new hat piece and all his parts are exclusive to him. His face is scarred and is double sided with an evil smile and an angry expression. Butch carries a revolver.
Kyle: One of Butch's bandits. Kyle has a tatty torso, a bandana and an Indiana Jones hat. He has a rifle.
Now onto the set. There is a dynamite catapult, several exploding rocks, a trapdoor and slide, a launching boulder, mine cart function, lowering bucket, secret waterfall, firing bull skull. Behind the secret waterfall is some silver and there is a room with a bottle, shovel, pickaxe and barrel. Next to that is the kitchen with a mug, stove and two frying pans. The set is very detailed at the front giving it the appearance of a mine with rocks and bricks which jut out everywhere. There are also some large rock pieces making the main infrastructure of the mine.
Here is my conclusion:
Figures: 10/10
Set: 10/10
This is a really great set to buy and I have no regrets about buying it.

Halt in the name of the law!
" This is a medium sized set in TLR theme. It comes with 2 buildings,a shrub and a cart. Now onto the minifigures.
Lone Ranger: Same in all the other sets except 79110.
Tonto: Same in all the other sets except 79110.
Dan Reid: Has new torso and leg prints and an Indiana Jones hat. His face has a stern expression with a stubble and moustache. Dan has a rifle.
Frank: His hat is the same as the Lone Ranger's but it is in black and
he has an angry face with a beard. Frank's weapon is a rifle and he also carries a sack.
Ray: Ray has a tatty shirt and a new face with large sideburns and a thick moustache. He has a grey hat and a revolver.
Now onto the set. There is a shrivelled bush and a wooden cart which has a crate containing a bottle, dollar bills and a stick of dynamite. The bank has a flick fire chandelier and a large safe which holds green bricks. When the function for the chandelier is pushed forwards, the bank sign flies off. The wall also explodes to let Frank and Ray rob the bank. The Sheriff's office has a small desk with a cup and beside it is a rack for a rifle. The cell has a function which lets you blow off 2 sides and the roof cannon is poseable and comes with a crate of ammunition.
Here is my conclusion:
Lone Ranger: 9/10
Tonto: 10/10
Dan Reid: 10/10
Frank: 9/10
Ray: 10/10
Pros: Minifigures, features, accessories, details
Cons: STICKERS!!!
I think that this set is great overall and I would highly recommend it.
