Ride like the wind!
" An awesome set just for £30 and it has 5 minifigures and 3 of them are exclusive to this set. Now for the figures.
Lone Ranger: The same figure as in all the other sets except 79110. His accessories are two revolvers.
Tonto: Same as in all other sets except 79110. HIs accessories are a compass and knife.
Red Harrington: She is exclusive to this set and has new printed pieces and her hat is a new piece which is exclusive to her. Her face is double sided with a smirk and a scared face. She also has her movie accurate ivory leg which was given to her by Butch Cavendish. Her accessory is a revolver.
Jesus: He has a new torso print and legs. His face has thick sideburns along with an evil grin. He comes with a red bandana and an Indiana Jones hat. His weapon is a rifle. Jesus is exclusive to this set.
Barret: He also has a new torso and legs print. His face print has thick sideburns, a stubble and an angry expression. He has the Lone Ranger's hat in black. His weapon is a knife. Barret is exclusive to this set.
Now onto the set. The brown horse is the new version of the Lego horse because its back legs are poseable. Attached to the horse's saddle is some dynamite. The 2 horses at the front of the Stagecoach are also poseable and behind them is a brick to hold their reins in place. The horses can also be detached from the coach for a quick escape. At the side is a bag containing a letter and at the top is Red's safe which has a silver bar and there is a play feature to launch luggage at the bandits.
Here is my conclusion:
Lone Ranger: 9/10
Tonto: 9/10
Red Harrington: 10/10
Jesus: 10/10
Barret: 9/10
Pros: Features, horses and accesories
Cons: STICKERS!!!
Overall it is a must buy set in the Lone Ranger theme.

AAAHHH!!! SCORPIONS!!!
" This is a great set to buy for £20. Now onto the minifigures.
Lone Ranger: The main hero who is included in every set. His accessories are two revolvers and his white hat.
Tonto: The Lone Ranger's sidekick in action. He has newly printed pieces which are exclusive to him and he has a new hairpiece with a dead crow on top. His accessory is a tomahawk. Tonto has a double sided face with a happy and a scared expression.
Red Knee: Red Knee is exclusive to this set and a Comanche warrior like Tonto. He also has newly printed pieces which are exclusive. His torso features a medallion and a pelt. Red Knee's face has red paint covering the top half and he has a new headdress with horns and tribal paintings on it. His weapon is a bow and arrow and his face has two expressions which are serious and scared.
Now onto the set. First is a small weapon rack holding a wooden spear and a quiver of arrows. The rack can also hold Red Knee's bow. There is also a wooden canoe with a wooden paddle. The play feature in the set is included on the rock where you can launch 3 scorpions for a surprise attack. The rock also features a plant and some bones. Finally is the teepee. It is extremely detailed with tribal symbols and pictures of animals and I think Lego did a really great job on that. Inside is a small campfire along with a fish that is sizzling nicely.
Here is my conclusion:
Lone Ranger: 10/10
Tonto: 10/10
Red Knee: 11/10
Pros: Everything!!!
Cons: None

Protect your turkey!
" Although this set is small it is a great set to buy first in the Lone Ranger theme. It has 4 minifigures and numerous accessories. Now onto the minifigures.
Lone Ranger: All of the Lone Ranger's parts are exclusive to him and he has some newly printed pieces. He also has two new silver pistols and his masked face.
Cavalry Soldiers: The soldiers all have the same hats, torsos and legs but their faces differ. One has a smirk, another has a brown stubble and smile and the other has a black stubble and stern face. Two of the soldiers have backpacks and another has a duffel bag. They also carry a rammer, rifle, a pistol and a telescope
Next is the Lone Ranger's horse Silver. He is newly printed and has poseable legs which increase the playability factor.
Now onto the set itself. First is the artillery cannon which is the same as all the other cannons in the Pirates theme. It also has wheels. There is also ammunition for the cannon on a small flat brick. Along with this is a campfire, frying pan and turkey leg. Finally is a wooden defense wall with a flag that has a printed emblem.
Here is my conclusion:
Lone Ranger: 10/10
Soldiers: 10/10
Pros: Everything
Cons: None

Wait, my precious, wait!!!
" Despite its small size, this set is fun to play with and I'm glad that Lego made another set with Gollum. Now for the minifigures.
Gollum: Gollum is newly printed with smaller eyes that are squinting and his facial appearance fits him perfectly with his schemes and tricks against poor Bilbo Baggins. Gollum comes with a fish.
Bilbo Baggins: Bilbo is the only figure who is not exclusive to this set . He has his red jacket as well as Sting. His alternate expression is a gasp of horror.
Now onto the actual set. Gollum has his little boat which is seen in the movie and the boar is decorated with a small bone and skeleton arms. The actual rock/cave is quite detailed to look like there is nothing special about it but a play feature allows you to move some rocks and turn a piece revealing Gollum's precious.
This is my conclusion:
Gollum: 10/10
Bilbo Baggins: 9/10
Pros: Minifigures, no stickers.
Cons: Could have a goblin, blue Sting and a small mushroom patch
Overall it is a really good play set

Only the strongest shall rule Mandalore!
" The main reason I bought this set was for the Clone Wars Darth Maul figure. He is my favourite Star Wars figure so far. Anyway onto the figures.
Darth Maul: This figure comes with a new torso, head and legs design which is very accurate to the Clone Wars TV series. I love the way Lego designed his legs and that they didn't just use General Grievous' legs. He comes with his single bladed lightsaber and the Darksaber which he took from Pre Vizsla after killing him in a duel.
Mandalorian Super Commandos: These Death Watch soldiers are very accurate becuase after Darth Maul takes control of Mandalore, his troops all wear red and black armour. I think Lego did a good job on designing these guys. They come with jetpacks and blasters.
Now for the set. The speeder is a moderate size with flick fire missiles and a little weapon rack along with a poseable turret.
Pros: Figures
Cons: Stickers, can't fit Darth Maul inside it

It's Hardeen. Trying to even the score.
" When I saw this set I thought it wouldn't be good and later on I decided to buy it and it is an awesome set with good details and play features. Now onto the minifigures.
Cad Bane: I think this version of Cad Bane is much better and accurate than the 2010 version in the Clone Turbo Tank and Cad Bane's Speeder. He has regular brown legs and a new torso print with an armoured vest and strap. His headpiece is new and doesn't have the breathing tubes which I think ruined him by making his face squished together. He still has the same hat and a regular blaster.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: This figure is extremely accurate because of the tatoos on his face. His torso and legs are also new and deatiled very good. He comes with a sniper rifle but unfortunately comes without his helmet.
Nikto Guard: This figure is new and has a detailed head with a serious expression and horns. His torso has belts and a strap on it. HIs accessory is an axe blade on a spear.
Now onto the set. The set comes with a new speeder design which Obi-Wan rides. The ship itself has foldable wings for flying and landing respectively along with dual flick fire missiles underneath the wings. There is also an opening cockpit for a minifigure and a space for the speeder at the back of the ship which hides it nicely and it can be released with a hidden button which increases the playability factor.
Here is my conclusion.
Cad Bane: 10/10
Obi-Wan Kenobi: 10/10
Nikto Guard: 10/10
Cons: No helmet for Obi-Wan and lots of stickers.
Overall this is a great set.

My master, Sauron the Great, bids thee welcome
" Finally, Lego have released a Mordor set: The Black Gate. This is my second favourite LOTR set released this summer. It has good play features and is quite detailed overall. Now onto the minifgures.
Gandalf the White: My favourite LOTR figure that has been released so far. He is awesome. Gandalf has a white staff, new torso printing and his beard is the same as Saruman's except Gandalf's doesn't have a patch of grey.
Aragorn: The new and exclusive Aragorn is extremely detailed. His torso is new and designed very well and his cape is similar to that of Lord Elrond's because the colours differ on the inside and the outside. Aragorn also comes with a sword.
Mouth of Sauron: Although the Mouth is only seen in the extended edition, he is still and awesome minifigure in the set and my favourite antagonist of all the Lego LOTR figures. His legs, torso, head and helmet are new and exclusive to him. His head only has a large mouth with sharp teeth and an evil smile as well as wrinkles and lines hidden by his helmet. His helmet is very alike to his movie counterpart and I think Lego did a great job on him.
Mordor Orcs: The first Orc is a regular Orc and unfortunately comes without the Orc hairpiece. He has a large sword. The second Orc has a flail and wears an Uruk-hai helmet.
Next are the animals included in this set.
Great Eagle: I am really fond of the Eagle and I like the printing on his wings and head. His legs cannot move and a minifigure can be placed on his back. However you should take off a figure's cape if it has one before placing it on the Eagle.
Horse: This is the second animal included the set. It is the Mouth of Sauron's horse which he also rides in the movie. This horse is also used by the Nazgul in the set Attack on Weathertop.
Now onto the Black Gate itself. The gate itself is very well detailed because of the spikes at the top serving as battlements and the bricks which protrude from the gate make it realistic. Attached to the gate is a tower which has four large spikes around it and at the top is a small catapult which comes with three rocks to shoot The tower also has space for an Orc. Also included on the tower is a torch. At the bottom of the tower is the secret entrance which is opened when a brick at the back is pushed. The interior is quite detailed. At the top of the gate behind the spikes is a small walkway/platform for the Orcs as well as a barrel, skull, bottle and torch. There is also a feature which opens and locks the gate when a round brick is turned. At either side of the gate is a wooden spear. At the bottom of the tower are two blades on the wall, a skull and the mechanism for opening the secret entrance. On the floor above are two rocks for the catapult at the top.
Here is my conclusion
Gandalf the White: 10000000/10
Aragorn: 10/10
Mouth of Sauron: 10/10
Mordor Orc 1: 9/10
Mordor Orc 2: 10/10
Pros: No stickers, awesome minifigures namely Gandalf, nice play features.
Cons: Needed a bit more to it-another tower would have been nice along with two more Orcs with hairpieces and a Mountain Troll.

We must join with Sauron
" For such a small set at £11.99, the Wizard Battle has two great features to re-enact the duel between Gandalf and Saruman. Now onto the minifigures.
Gandalf the Grey: This time Gandalf comes without his hat and cloak so instead he has a long grey hairpiece and has the smae headpiece that comes with the figure in set 10237: The Tower of Orthanc. The head has a happy face and one that is yelling. His accessory is his staff.
Saruman the White: Saruman is an awesome figure and also quite rare as he only appears in this set and Orthanc. His staff is made up of three bricks and he doesn't have a kirtle outfit in this set. I also love his beard design and I think Lego did a good job on that. His face is also double sided with a normal face and an evil smile.
Now onto the set itself. At the front of the throne room is the Palantir with a brand new design print showing the Eye of Sauron. This is a play feature which is put into motion when a brick at the back of the set is turned. It enables the Palantir stand to rotate. In the middle there are small steps leading up to the throne room and next to that are two lamps which are also included in Orthanc. Another play feature is on Saruman's throne which is a pole which can be pushed to knock Saruman off his throne. The throne is detailed and realistic to its counterpart in the Fellowship of the Ring movie. Overall this is an awesome set
Gandalf the Grey: 10/10
Saruman the White: 10/10
Pros: Everything, no stickers
Cons: None

Much to learn you still have
" I am so glad that Lego released more Attack of the Clones sets this summer so now on to the set.
Minifigures:
Yoda: My favourite minifigure in the set. I think his brand new headpiece is really detailed and Lego did a great job on that.
Count Dooku: Finally a movie version of Dooku. I like this figure much better than the Clone Wars design. He is very detailed and quite movie accurate because he only has one lightning accessory. He also has the same head as Saruman the White because both are played by the same actor.
Poggle the Lesser: Even though Poggle isn't supposed to be in this scene, I think it's alright because I've been waiting for a Poggle figure and I think Lego couldn't have designed him any better.
FA-4: The new version of FA-4 is much better and accurate than the Clone Wars version which looked weird.
Now on to the set. A great design on this was the landing pad where Dooku can leave his speeder as he battles Yoda. Then on the top of the archway is a detachable lamp and two flick fire lamps which Dooku throws at Yoda in the duel. Next to the main archway is a hidden compartment for Dooku's lightning which can be stored inside a crate. Under the smaller archways are two other play features which are a flick fire rock and a rod to attach to Yoda's back to re-enact the movie scene where he jumps and flips all over the hangar. At the end of the hangar is the toppling column which falls over when a lever is turned. This is also from a scene in the movie where Dooku uses the Force to topple the column to crush Anakin and Obi-Wan.
Conclusion:
Yoda: 10/10
Dooku: 10/10
Poggle: 10/10
FA-4: 10/10
This is a great buy for £40!
