We're the Guardians of the Galaxy.
" Here's the biggie in Guardians of the Galaxy.
MILANO SPACESHIP: Awesome and accurate ship! Yellow and blue colors with a great interior which includes Star-Lord's old fashioned cassette. I can't imagine LEGO considered NOT doing this. There is room for Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, and also Rocket, even though Groot can't fit, the ship is spacey. It would have been interesting if they had made a minifigure size Groot exclusive for this ship, kind of like what they did to Metalbeard from the LEGO MOVIE. However, it's no biggie to me. If I'm gonna have a big meeting, I'll probably do it outside the ship anyway, since there's never going to be infinite maneuvarability otherwise. The ship also has poseable wings, two flick missiles and two of those new stud launching guns. The ship is a great size and the Guardians' big transport. Basically, it's necessary despite the price.
NECROCRAFT: This is a bit different from the one in the $20 set. It's still small and a good evil fighter with room for the Sakaaran pilot. It also has flick missiles.
MINIFIGURES:
Peter Quill/Star-Lord: The same as the other except for maroon pants rather than black. He has exclusive printing and can have a grinning face and blonde hair or special helmet mold. He has two laser pistols, the orb, and the big cannon they use in the movie to help defeat Ronan (I just forgot the name). Cool hero.
Gamora: She is exclusive. She has special suit printing as well, a smiling or angry green face and black hair with pink highlights. She is armed with a ninja sword.
Drax the Destroyer: Exclusive as well. He has a gray torso and head with red tattoos and is armed with two knives. Muscle-bound maniac!
Ronan the Accuser: Exclusive again. He has a blue face with black marks and angry expression. Along with his cape and special printing robes, he has a really cool hood mold. He is armed with his long hammer/Cosmi-Rod.
Sakaaran Soldier: Same as the other sets. He has special printing, a great rifle mold, a angry or masked face wth black hood. Great henchman.
OVERALL: This is the best Guardians set to get along with Knowhere. Automatically it will complete your collection. It's ten bucks overpriced as always, but you know how it is. Totally worth it overall. Thanks for reading, until next time, goodnight and party on!

I'm SWINGING on a web...
" So this is a pretty good twenty dollar Marvel set. The Doc Ock is much better than the Ultimate version, sort of going back to the old 2004 sets. He is also rare, and if you like this villain it's a good way to get Spider-Man.
TRUCK: Big part of the set. It is a good sturdy build with features including opening doors, room for one person, and an awesome feature where the back of the truck can explode via a lever and send four safes flying. This explosive capability makes this truck fun to use in police chases and all sorts of other action besides just Spider-Man. Cooler than even Nick Fury's car. Also included is a "web launcher" to cause Spider-Man to go flying, though it's kind of like flick missiles; it's a lost cause. Awesome vehicle though!
MINIFIGURES:
-Spider-Man: We've all seen him before. If you want a set with real action that is cheap to get him in, I recommend either this or the Spider-Cycle Chase (which includes the totally excellent and amazing Nick Fury minifig). He has a red and blue printing with web lines and a spider symbol on either side. His face is that of the cartoon, with large white eyes on the mask. He comes with a long white rope to represent a string of web. Always a good superhero.
-Dock Ock: This version is exclusive to this set, and like I said, he represents the original real well. He has a white lab coat and green pants, with science goggles and an angry face. His four arms are brick-built with bending technic pieces. Awesome villain.
-Truck Driver: This is pretty much the same as the bank guard from the Two-Face Chase. He has a special police uniform with light blue coloring and a badge with that regular head and a uniform hat. Good for guarding and failing to help hostages :)
OVERALL: Awesome, cheap set to get. Pretty much the best price you would get these days for a set this size. Superheroes seem to be the best theme to do that in. Totally recommend this set. So, thanks for reading, until next time: goodnight and party on!

You're going down, Joker.
" The final installment in the latest Batman wave. This one is no less satisfying, and once again the price is amazing.
BATWING: This one blows away the other two with looks and sturdy build. It's an easy form, and includes four flick missiles, an open cockpit, and some pretty cool sweeping wings. Great Bat-vehicle.
JOKER STEAMROLLER: This is actually a pretty fun vehicle. It's really Joker only, but as long as you're using the Joker, it's fun. It includes room for a driver, two flick Joker bombs, and the steamrolling wheel is really cool. This is a sturdy build as well, and really fun to play with.
MINIFIGURES:
-Batman: Your usual Batman. He's in his black suit, cape, and mask with yellow belt and symbol. He has that standard face, regular or grinning. He is armed with a Batarang.
-Batgirl: Whoaness! Didn't often think about ever getting a Batgirl figure, but here we are. She quite resembles the 50s style suit, with a black mask and red hair sticking out the back. She has a feminine figure with the bat symbol on her suit and a purple cape. She has a Batarang as well.
-Robin: Personally, I'm not into the comics, but apparently this is one of those later Robins named Damian Wayne. Honestly, I just like to stick with the original Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson to always be Batman and Robin. Anyway, this particular new Robin is actually pretty good. He's got a green masked face with a scared or regular face. He has mussed up black hair, a red suit with the 'R' on it, and a short yellow cape with short black legs. He is armed with a tall black staff. This is probably the best Robin that has come out since the DC theme started.
-Joker: This version of Batman's infamous arch nemesis is exclusive, with a different purple suited torso. He also has only a laughing face and a purple fedora. His classic 'BANG' gun has changed from the new version in the old Batplane (a simple flag on the tommy gun) back to the old version from the old old Batplane (that seems to be a set he really enjoys taking part in), so that it's a megaphone with a stick and BANG flag on it. Good villain to have, but if you don't have another one, you may miss the classic green hair.
-Joker henchman: Strange compared to others, since he's in a construction outfit. Generally, you see a simple cannon fodder, but here the exclusive constructino torso and hat make him look buff and tough. I guess that's why the Dynamic Duo needs some help from Batgirl. Anyway, always necessary for Joker to have a helper.
OVERALL: The last great Batman set in the four that just came out. These sets have been spot on in the price, which is really rare for any set, so I highly recommend them. Well, on that statement, I'll leave with a high note. Until next time: thanks for watching, goodnight and party on!

You're going down, Riddler.
" WOW! Is it surprising anyone else lately that I've been saying all these Batman prices are spot-on?! They really are about as good as they can get. This one especially is terrific.
BATMOBILE: This one surpasses all the others. It has a much roomier cockpit, and its latest means of firing missile (does the Batmobile ever actually do such a thing?) is a hidden cannon resembling the style used on Nick Fury's car in the Spider-Cycle chase. It's a strong, fairly easy build that I personally enjoyed.
DRAGSTER: Something you won't use unless you're using the Riddler, but it's cool anyway. It has a very flat, extended build with a detachable bomb and attached money bags to hold the stolen cash. It is open topped rather than in a cockpit, and I enjoy that relief as well.
MINIFIGURES:
-Batman: This version is exclusive, all-new, a mixture of all the others and the best one. He has a dark gray outfit with black mask and cape and the Adam West style Bat-symbol. He has the same head, serious or grinning. He comes armed with a Batarang. Love this one.
-The Riddler: What a load off my mind from the last one. He has the same masked face with an evil grin, but the rest of him goes back to the Frank Gorshin style of Riddler. He has a green bowler's hat with a question mark, and a green jacket full of question marks as well. Biggest relief is that his crowbar piece is not a crowbar, it is gold and it is a legitimate cane. LEGO, you guys really couldn't have done that with the old Funhouse? He also comes with a banana to trip the Flash, and lots of cash and some dynamite. Great villain and one of my favorites!
-The Flash: My brother's favorite, and I must say, I especially like his minifigure as well. He is completely exclusive with an all new torso bearing his symbol and a mask piece that goes over his head (unfortunately, it's the same old head that Batman and everyone else has. This generic thing is getting pretty old). The fastest man on earth is here! I can't wait to see Green Lantern! Awesome superhero figure right here.
OVERALL: Amazingly done. LEGO, I very much request you could try harder to do this price thing with all the other themes, especially Star Wars.
Well, that'll be all. Be sure to check out my other reviews on Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Lego Ideas, and LOTR/Hobbit sets. So, until next time, thanks for reading, goodnight and party on!

You're going down, Man-Bat.
" Here's another great Batman set. While not a huge fan of Man-Bat as a villain, I felt pressed to get this to go with all the others.
BATCOPTER: I like it better than the old one. Features include: the cockpit, spinning blades, flick missiles, and grappling hook that works something like the snowspeeder. Of course, it presents the problem all Bat-vehicles do, and that is the bending and ruining of the cape when you put Batman inside for too long. Just take it from me, and remove the cape first. This is a sturdy build and ultimately one of my favorite modern Bat-vehicles.
NIGHTGLIDER: This isn't a bad glider. I certainly like it better than Batman's. It has no real features, though the grapple hooks on it suggest it could fire something perhaps? It is made of red and black pieces and has jet exhaust on it.
MINIFIGURES:
-Batman: Same old, same old. He's in his black outfit with yellow belt and Bat-symbol. His face is serious or grinning, and he has his standard mask and cape. He comes with a Batarang.
-Nightwing: We haven't seen him since 2006 in the old Arkham Asylum, so I know a whole lot of people will be excited about this. He has that cool hairdo (in black) that came with the Sleepyhead and Soccer Player figures. He has a black mask with red eyes and a determined battle grin. He has a black and red suit that closely resembles his old one, save for the old one was blue. Instead of red. Cool figure to have, certainly if you're lacking Robin (hope not).
-Man-Bat: Some like him, some don't. I'm not one that likes him. However, I do have to say he makes for a cool minifigure. His torso and head look very mutant-ish, with brown, furry printing. He has fangs and a demon face with a large-eared mold. His arms are the coolest part, since they have wing mold on them, and a different curved look. I think these have appeared before, but I know they're rare and it's probably been a while since they have. He also wears dark blue pants.
OVERALL: I do think that this set matches well the twenty dollar price, which is very rare any such thing would work like that. The Batcopter is all new from six years ago, and many of you will go crazy over the return of Nightwing and the debut of Man-Bat. I say go for it! So, until next time: thanks for reading, goodnight and party on!

You're going down, Penguin.
" I didn't collect too many Batman sets up until this last wave. I think these are some of the best they've made, all with only a few kinks. This one in particular had an especially low amount. There's enough seperate builds in here to make thirteen dollars at least seem reasonable.
SCUBA JET: Not a bad little vehicle. If they had made the Batcave as big as the original back in 2006, there would be room for all these vehicles. For whatever reason, it reminds me of a Dino sort of build. It's simple, quick, and only has two flick missiles, but I like it.
DUCK VEHICLE: Just went blank on its official name. The Penguin submarine would be better than a strange, giant duck, but oh well. It's not terrible either, lacking any other features but flick-fire missiles. For this reason, the entire set is a bit low on playability unless you're younger, but there's three other cool sets out there to go with it.
MINIFIGURES:
-Scuba Batman: He's an exclusive figure. His head itself is in scuba mask, as well as his torso. He has a dark blue mask and suit, and is armed with a harpoon. Another suit to add to the Hall of Bat-Armor. There would have been a place for all this, too, if that old Batcave had just been bigger. Of course, given these new years, it would have just raised the price. Sigh.
-Penguin: His version is different from Arkham Asylum and is therefore exclusive as well. He has the same head, with an evil grin and an eyeglass. He is in a top hat, and wears a fur coat and suit with his umbrella. With him is two brickbuilt penguin minions (I love these guys) and a chunk of ice with a diamond.
OVERALL: This is a good little set that goes with any other Batman sets and has exclusive figures at a very low price. I'd recommend it especially to the kids that are younger and don't do as many bigger builds. Okay, thanks very much for reading, and until next time: goodnight and party on!

Hold your positions!
" My brother just got this set since he likes the Airborne troopers, and I got to have a Utapau trooper (212th Battalion is my favorite) to battle Grievous' Wheel Bike with Obi-Wan. This simple build did not take him long, but I have to say that given it can get pretty crowded with lots of Separatist stuff piling up these days (you gotta go for the cool minifigures) it's actually a relief to have something small but at the same time tall. You know, it's something that it still takes more than one guy to take it down (unless it were a Jedi, of course). All four clones are exclusive, with rare printing and pieces. The Airborne troopers are especially something to go for, with all new helmet molds and torsos. All four clones come with the new blasters that can actually fire. This is pretty fun for lots of people. The Octuptarra droid itself is in reality a really big droid (see the Clone Wars movie for that) but I don't really mind the size. However, if LEGO had made a full Octuptarra droid to go with the heavy cannon from Christophsis, a crab droid would have been nice, since those are spotted more than once during the battle on Utapau. The droid can spin its head around with three cannons/flick missiles, so it fits to it's reputation. Overall, it's a cool set that I would definitely recommend, for the strange relief of the size and if you have the Wheel Bike. Thanks for reading, and until next time: goodnight and party on! "

Hi, buddy! I'm your friendly neighborhood officer!
" I got this set after seeing the LEGO Movie since I wanted an Emmet and plus I'm a big fan of any cool police gear (Cop's helmet is exclusive). It's a bit overpriced, nothing new, but it's fun for the kids and useful for me in particular to go with all sorts of other themes.
POLICE CAR: The car is a pretty fun build, with features including some hidden fold out laser cannons and an opening roof to put Cop into. Unfortunately, some stickers are used to help decorate it, but oh well. It's a fun vehicle to have, and is much cooler than any LEGO City police car.
RAILROAD: This goes nice with the Lone Ranger sets. It's brick built, rather than its own mold, but it is fun to use and can collapse at one place. Below it in the water are the two police crocodiles, which are good to have since I only got one crocodile before (in Indiana Jones) and all my other chomp-chomp creatures were sharks. The railroad is quite fun when reenacting the movie or doing your own little thing.
MINIFIGURES:
-Emmet: The standard Emmet in all the sets. He has his not-so-generic-in-reality construction uniform with nametag, and the Piece of Resistance stuck to his back. He has a grinning face or a scared face, which I think could have been better grin-wise. I think he should look a little more like a plain-faced smiling guy than Lloyd Garmadon, but oh well. He also has brown hair that looks smooth but sticks up in the back, kind of like the original Dennis the Menace. Fun guy that is great for being the hero in any storyline.
-Good Cop/Bad Cop: He's exclusive to this set. Personally, I won't be reenacting the movie, so I'll probably put a head with Aviator shades from LEGO City on him and use the nerdy face for a nerdy LEGO guy, but either way, he's pretty cool. He has exclusive police torso printing and an exclusive helmet mold, and he comes with one of those new guns from Star Wars that actually fires! Pretty fun for the little kids.
OVERALL: This is a great set about ten bucks overweight. The car and the railroad are good for more than just the movie, so I would recommend it to almost anyone. For the collectors, it has a few exclusive or rare pieces, and for the kids, it's just fun to play like its the movie they all loved. This particular set will go great with the other Old West LEGO movie stuff. Thanks for reading, and don't forget to check out my other reviews in Star Wars, Marvel, Lego Ideas, and LOTR/Hobbit sets, and see what you think about some of my ideas for sets that I might mention in a few of them. Feel free to comment or add your own ideas in on your own review. Maybe LEGO will appreciate a thought or two? So, until next time, goodnight and party on!

And so it begins...
" This particular set has some playability to it on its own and is a great Uruk army builder, but be known that it is limited so you want to make sure you've got plenty of other heroes (Weathertop and Moria offer some great ones), or as long as you have Helm's Deep to add this to you're good.
DEEPING WALL: This set is truly supposed to attach to Helm's Deep, so be known that the wall itself isn't much on it's own. The wall is mostly it's own mold, so it's all a relatively quick build. On the other side of the wall there is stairs and a place for the soldiers to stand. Plenty of fun to be had with it. Other details include a torch and a flag.
BALLISTIC LAUNCHER: This recreates the large grappling ropes that the Uruks fire on Helm's Deep in the midst of the battle. The catapult is well built and can roll on the circular pieces and technic bricks on the bottom. The means of launching the missiles is clever; a push-piece launcher rather than simple flick missiles (LEGO is getting better on that). Sure to be a problem for our Rohan friends.
MINIFIGURES:
-Eomer: An exclusive figure. You may at first have a problem telling it's him save for the different head and helmet, but you get used to it. He has a serious face or a really big shouting face. He has a green cape and Rohan printed armor. He is armed with a spear and shield, and a sword comes as extra weaponry. He also has a brown horse to ride. Cool guy to have.
-Rohan soldier: All we've gotten in good guy cannon fodder so far. He has a helmet and torso very similar to Eomer's, though plainer. He has a quiver and bow and arrow, and a bearded face with a serious or bared teeth expression. Ready to defend the Rohirrim army from the wall!
-Uruk-hai Soldiers: There is four in all. They all have the same torso and legs. Their heads are also generic; they can have two faces, bared teeth with mud or a roar with the white hand of Isengard painted on. I'll give them to you based on what armor and weapon they have: firstly, the general has black hair and no armor, armed with a Uruk sword. The second has a helmet only and a Uruk sword. The other two have full armor and are equipped with tall Uruk axe/spears and shields. This set is a great way to get a few more bad guys.
OVERALL: Thirty dollars is much too much for this set, but what you do get out of it is an extension of the Helm's Deep set, a fairly good number of bad guy minions, and an exclusive Eomer figure. As I said in my review of the Pirate ship of Umbar, it'd be nice to get a Minas Tirith set sometime (see that review for my full idea I gave to LEGO, and feel free to comment on it or add your own idea, since the customer is always right).

All she ever gets to eat is filthy Orcses...
" This is another great LOTR set recreating a famous scene and including exclusive figures.
SHELOB: The giant spider is brickbuilt, and includes the features of an extending web from the rear and poseable legs. Stickers (ugh) are used to create a printed face with one eye missing. This spider is quite large as compared to the Hobbit spiders, sure to be an even bigger challenge for the hobbits to defeat. A small rock outlet is also included for Gollum to watch the fun in with his fish.
MINIFIGURES:
-Frodo Baggins: This Frodo version has a gray cape on his adventure outfit, and has a serious face or a scared/stabbed face. He is armed with Sting and comes with the Ring.
-Samwise Gamgee: Our large hobbit friend is exclusive to this set. He has the same blonde hobbit hair that Bilbo has, and has a serious face or scared face (same as the A-wing pilot). He has exclusive torso printing and a gray cape as well, and comes with a short sword and a diamond to represent the elven light given to Frodo by Galadriel. Awesome hobbit fig that is completely necessary to add to your collection of LOTR.
-Gollum: This is one of two Gollums ever made. While the Hobbit one has a squinting, suspicious glare, this one has wide eyes and an angry expression. Gollum has a special mold and extended arms to make him a small, bent minifigure. Pretty cool to play around with. He comes with a fish.
OVERALL: I think this is a great set that you really ought to have as an LOTR fan. It's not too overpriced, so the fact that you get Sam and Gollum evens it all out pretty well. Thanks for reading, and be sure to check out my other reviews on Star Wars, Marvel, Lego Ideas, and LOTR/Hobbit, and see what you think about ideas for sets that I mention in a few of my reviews. Feel free to comment on them or add your own idea in your review as well :)
