'Laugh it up fuzzball.'
" To go with 41608 Han Solo is his loyal co-pilot Chewbacca. However this is a younger version of the wookiee based on Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Unfortunately Chewie doesn't make for a particularly successful BrickHeadz. The model is only slightly taller than an average BrickHeadz, even though Chewbacca towers over other Star Wars characters. This is really obvious when it's displayed next to Han (or any other Star Wars BrickHeadz).
The build is quick and enjoyable with some interesting techniques used to replicate the texture and layers of Chewie's fur. As seen in the Solo trailer Chewbacca has a new bandolier which is recreated through printed pieces. Also new is his weapon which is a blaster rifle rather then Chewie's iconic bowcaster.
This is probably the least successful of all Star Wars BrickHeadz so far and one to buy only if you're also going to buy Han Solo. It would be nice in future to see an Original Trilogy or Sequel Trilogy Chewbacca BrickHeadz that could remedy the height issue. "

'Scruffy looking nerf herder...'
" Han was obviously going to be released as a BrickHeadz, although many fans were hoping for a model based on the character as seen in the Original Trilogy rather than based on the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Like all BrickHeadz it's a quick, easy build and the finished model is instantly recognisable as the famous smuggler. The model looks better in real life as you can see the detail from all angles.
The hair in particular uses some great building techniques and only printed elements represent the details of Han's jacket and shirt. Also included is Han's blaster pistol. The only flaw is that based on the trailer this younger version of Han should have a darker brown jacket.
This is a great BrickHeadz but if you're a big fan of Han Solo from the Original Trilogy or The Force Awakens then this set might be one to skip. "

'I wanna see them dancing'
" Ariel's Royal Celebration Boat is loosely based upon the ending of The Little Mermaid when she marries Prince Eric after defeating Ursula. It's a very detailed set packed with role-play opportunity but is tiny compared to it's price tag.
As most of the piece count goes towards the detailing of the boat it's a quick build and the build-and-swap feature allows for multiple display options. There's a firework function that works well but doesn't add much.
The rotating ballroom for Eric and Ariel is nice and including a bandstand for Sebastian is a fun reference to the film.
However although the mini-dolls are exclusive Eric has the cheesiest grin ever and it would have been more accurate if Ariel was in her wedding dress. Max, Eric's loyal canine, is brand new and looks wonderful.
For it's price this set could have offered so much more like including King Triton or simply being a bit bigger. If you're a fan of The Little Mermaid sets then this is one to buy only on discount. "

'Once upon a dream'
" The first set based on Sleeping Beauty is fun for role-play but is lacking in the main characters as is actually quite fragile.
It's a very quick build and there's a nice level of detail - such as one of the stickers representing the running joke about Aurora's dress from the film: blue or pink? However the set is rather disjointed and there's a lot of empty space.
The new build-and-swap sounds like a good idea but actually leaves the finished model quite unstable. The towers are only held on by two studs so are easy to knock off, especially during play.
Maleficent is an amazing mini-doll complete with her cape and staff but unfortunately missing Diablo. Aurora only comes with one fairy godmother and I think including all three would have been fairer.
Overall it's a good set with a few flaws. Also did Lego have to make it so pink? "

'Something inside of me has always been there.'
" Rey goes perfectly with the Kylo Ren BrickHeadz, and is even better in real life than the product photos.
The build is fun and easy, whilst the end result looks amazing. Rey's costume has a movie accurate colour scheme and the printed pieces add extra detail. Also included is Rey's lightsaber.
However, what the product photos don't show is just how brilliant Rey's hair is! Her complex hairstyle has been realistically recreated through the use of smooth tiles. My only issue with the figure is that using slopes for ears makes them look a bit disproportioned.
If you're a Rey fan, or a Star Wars fan then this figure is one to add to your collection. "

'The only way to become what you're meant to be.'
" This Brick Headz of Kylo Ren is definitely the best Star Wars one so far.
It's a fun, easy build but there's a lot of attention to detail even in a set so small. The printing on the pieces is amazing, even Ren's belt buckle is printed for movie accuracy. Ren's cape has a good shape and he comes with his lightsaber.
The hair on this figure is extremely detailed and layered, making the figure even more realistic. Although I think it would be better if the very top piece was a tile rather than a normal brick. Two more printed pieces recreate Ren's scar on his face.
I love this set and I would recommend it to any Kylo Ren or Star Wars fan! "

Ski Speeder vs. Heavy Assault Walker
" These new double-packs of Microfighters are a great idea, especially with two sets of instructions included, but I don't think this one is as successful as 75196.
The builds are fun and easy but there are a few issues. The First Order Walker looks quite disproportioned with the stud-shooters on the side and the legs have little movability. The ski-speeder although detailed has too bright a colour scheme compared to the film version - there's too much blue.
However the minifigures are amazing. The First Order Walker Driver has a unique helmet with a grey stripe printed on one side and a very detailed torso print. It's only available in the much more expensive First Order Heavy Assault Walker set. The ski-speeder pilot also has detailed printing and the new moulded hair piece that also includes a headset is amazing!
This is a nice little set of the climactic scenes from The Last Jedi, but not quite as good as other Microfighters. "

'So good to have you back.'
" Who could have expected that it would be so easy to get the First Order Stormtrooper Executioners - the latest addition to the First Order's forces.
Although it's a battle pack and the laser cannon is a fun build perfect for role-play, it's really the minifigures that make this set so desirable.
The Stormtrooper Executioners are amazing minifigures and their helmets have new printing to include the black stripe on one side along with the thinner, more angular mouthpiece. However, it would have been even better if the arms were dual-moulded as only the shoulder armour is black in the film: not the entire arm. The laser axes themselves look pretty good, especially at this scale.
The First Order Gunner is a common minifigure but the Shuttle Pilot is only available in the much more expensive First Order Star Destroyer.
This is one of the best battle packs yet due to the quality of the minifigures included. It's a perfect way to add to any The Last Jedi or Star Wars collection! "

'Let the past die.'
" Microfighters have been released for the last few years, but double-packs are a new concept that I think is really good.
These ships are fun, easy builds but the inclusion of two separate instructions for each is new and will be popular among Lego fans, as two people can build at the same time.
Even at this scale both the A-Wing and TIE Silencer are accurate and identifiable. Both have flick missiles for added playability. The maintenance station is a nice bonus and bulks out the set a bit more.
Tallissan Lintra is the A-Wing pilot, recognisable by her detailed helmet and printed torso. However a huge draw of this set is that it's the cheapest to include Kylo Ren. It's the same minifigure that comes with the TIE Silencer, and he has detailed printing and a reversible head-piece.
This is a great new idea in the Microfighters range but also a way to get exclusive minifigures. "

'This is not going to go the way you think.'
" Star Wars fans have waited two years to hear Luke Skywalker's first words, whilst Lego fans have waited even longer for an old man Luke minifigure. Please note this review contains minor spoilers for The Last Jedi.
It's a quick easy build of the main location from The Last Jedi but the set's details and film-references make up for it's small size.
The hut looks rustically cobbled together and there's even a porg perch on the roof. The four stickers help to add exterior detail and texture to the walls. However the fabric used to represent Luke's door is inaccurate - it was actually metal and required Wookiee strength to bring down!
Inside Luke's spartan existence is captured really well with a fold-away bed, cooking utensils and some food. The silver fish is a nod to the huge fish Luke catches on Ahch-To.
Outside is a camp fire used by Rey during the film and a huge boulder for Rey to train against. The turntable for a minifigure to strike the boulder is a fun play-feature that replays the scene from the film quite well. The only other feature is to bring down one of the hut's walls as Rey manages with her blaster, but technically that was her own and not Luke's.
The minifigures are the main attraction of this set as they're all exclusive. Old man Luke looks incredible with detailed printing on his Jedi robes, a fabric cape and his staff. He comes with a dual-sided face: one solemn, the other angry (yes, even Jedi Masters get angry). Luke also has a unique hair-piece that adds extra movie accuracy. Rey is in her costume last seen at the end of The Force Awakens. She again has detailed printing and comes with her lightsaber and staff, although it's a shame she doesn't have her blaster. Finally the porg adds cuteness and has a different colour scheme to the ones included in 75192 Millennium Falcon.
This is a brilliant little set of the main location from The Last Jedi but at this price point the inclusion of more porgs or a Caretaker minifigure would have been welcome. "
