'Who gave you permission to remove that helmet?'
" Star Wars characters can be translated into Brick Headz form quite well and I think Finn is better than Captain Phasma.
Building the figure is quick and fun with a nice end result. The printing on the torso bricks adds extra detail to the stormtrooper armour and even the ammunition pack on the back has been included.
It's a brilliant display piece and easily recognisable as FN-2187. My only complaint is that the slopes used for the ears make them look a bit big. I think smooth plate pieces would have been better.
This is a great set to add to any Brick Headz collection or if you want to complete any collection for The Force Awakens. "

'Report to my division at once.'
" It wasn't going to be long before the Brick Headz line included Star Wars characters. I think Captain Phasma is better in person than in the product photos.
The build is quick and easy but there's a surprising amount of detail even on a small build. There are printed pieces on her helmet and torso to add movie accuracy and Phasma's cape has it's distinctive red edging.
Overall the figure looks quite good but the bottom of the helmet looks a bit too bulky when compared to the top, plus I think Phasma's blaster is too small. Also Captain Phasma has chrome armour and Lego pieces only come in grey so the colour is disappointingly dull.
This isn't the best of the Brick Headz but if you're a Star Wars fan, especially if you're a Phasma fan, then this is a good set to build whilst we wait for The Last Jedi. "

'This is the Millennium Falcon. You're Han Solo!'
" As this is the largest Lego set ever produced, this is obviously going to be a long review.
Firstly, you have to be an experienced builder if you want to build the Falcon. This is the hardest, most challenging build that you need to take slowly. Read and re-read the instructions, because one mistake could impede the whole build and mean taking something apart. It is also very delicate and some parts of the build are very fiddly.
Once completed the Millennium Falcon is huge! And heavy. Even a set of this size can't include every detail, but the level of movie accuracy is astounding.
The interior includes the 'living room' of the Falcon, with the Dejarik board, seating, control panels and Luke's blast helmet that he uses to train with the remote in Episode IV. The famous alcove where Han and Leia share their first kiss in Episode V and are interrupted by C-3PO. Also in this area are the access doors to the escape pods and a smuggling compartment. Then there's the top gunnery emplacement from both Episode IV and The Force Awakens. The cockpit is nicely detailed and the new pieces that actually enclose it are amazing and the perfect shape.
The exterior detailing is even more impressive and complex. I've spent a long time comparing official images of the real Falcon with the Lego version and almost everything's been included - from both the Original Trilogy and The Force Awakens. The colour scheme for the hull sections is perfect and makes the Falcon look weathered whilst also breaking up the monotonous grey. It's surprising how much red is on the Falcon.
There are some amazing features. The access ramp can lift up and down. The gun emplacements can also swivel up and down, but unfortunately not side to side. The hull plates can be removed to reveal the interior whilst the cockpit can be opened for minifigures to be placed inside. The fact that you can change the radar dishes dependent on whether you want an Original Trilogy or The Force Awakens Falcon is very cool.
However, I do have some issues with the set. Considering the price, I think there should be no stickers. Either everything should have been printed or the stickers pre-applied. The bags of bricks come is separate boxes but are randomly placed in each so every box must be opened. For 10188 Death Star, the boxes were numbered and the bags included sequentially. The equipment access bays on the front mandibles aren't perfectly round as they are in the film. Also, the smuggling compartment is tiny - it won't even fit a minifigure. It would have been better if the cockpit had seating rather than placing a minifigure on the floor. Finally, the build sequence is frustrating. You make all of the interior before doing the bottom hull plates, which means you're lifting up the Falcon to attach them and having to be careful not to damage the interior. Not even a set this good gets everything right.
The minifigure selection is awesome. The exclusive Episode V versions of Han and Leia are standouts with very detailed printing on the jackets. The dual-sided faces showing the breathing masks on one side are amazing. Although there's nothing wrong with the rest of the minifigures, none are exclusive. It would have been nice if they had arm printing or something to make them unique to this set.
The brick-built porgs are adorable! The printing on the faces is beautiful and really captures their big, cute eyes. Simple, yet effective is the mynock, but it would have been better if there was more than one.
I don't usually mention boxes but the box for the Falcon is beautiful. It's similar to the boxes that certain Star Wars figures are packaged in. Even the internal boxes are printed with the Falcon and famous Millennium Falcon related movie lines. The mega instruction booklet is ring bound, reminiscent of 10188 Death Star.
If you're a collector of large Lego sets or a Star Wars fan, then this iconic set is for you. It's truly incredible and although the price tag is steep, you won't be disappointed by the build or the finished model. Like Han said "She may not look like much kid, but she's got it where it counts." "

Snoke's Elite Praetorian Guard
" These guards are clearly inspired by the Emperor's Royal Guards, but as stated in an interview with the costume designer, are also influenced by Samurai.
This has to be one of my favourite build-able figures. It's very movie accurate when compared to official images and has a great design. The build isn't complicated and is very pose-able. The shoulder plates nor the tunic limit the pose-ability.
The helmet has been moulded to a perfect likeness and there's even detailing on the back. The weapon can either be one long staff or split into two. The play feature works quite well, especially when using the weapon as a staff. It doesn't work very well when they're separate blades. Also, the play feature means that the figure can't be displayed from the back as it looks messy due to the technic pieces.
I think this is the best figure from The Last Jedi range and a perfect addition to any collection. I'd just like to see them in action now in the film! "

'Breathe. Just Breathe.'
" This Rey figure is a vast improvement compared to The Force Awakens version, with great pose-ability and a fun play feature.
The build isn't complicated, although a bit fiddly at some points. The finished figure is an accurate height compared to Chewbacca or Finn. The play feature that allows you to swing Rey's arm actually works really well but it does mean that the figure looks messy on the back. The blaster is a significant improvement with a far better shape and colour scheme whilst the lightsaber hasn't changed.
The likeness is quite good and Rey's new haircut has been moulded well. Her new costume has detailed printing and the use of cloth adds to the movie accuracy. However I think too much black has been used when the costume has far more grey in official images. Also the skin tone that is printed onto the torso and arm pieces doesn't match the skin tone of the head.
Overall, I think this is a good build-able figure that would be great to play with or displayed. It's perfect for any Rey fan or The Last Jedi collection. "

Target Acquired
" The Special Forces TIE pilots only feature briefly in The Force Awakens so are a bit of an obscure choice for a build-able figure but it is excellent with great pose-ability.
The build is easy, probably one of the easiest out of the new range. It stands just above a First Order Stormtrooper figure. The level of detail and movie accuracy is amazing! The red-stripes on the helmet denote the Special Forces ranking, the First Order insignias are on each shoulder and the life support pack is nearly exactly the same as the on screen version.
There are some proportion issues. The helmet is a little bit too big and the life support pack looks bulky. Also why is a blaster rifle included when First Order TIE pilots carry pistols? Apart from these minor issues the figure is perfect.
This is definitely a brilliant figure to add to any First Order collection as it's just so movie accurate and great to play with or display. "

TIE Silencer
" This TIE Fighter is obviously inspired by Darth Vader's TIE Advanced and the TIE Interceptor. It's real name is the TIE Silencer and Kylo Ren is an expert pilot thanks to the skills passed down from his father.
The build is repetitive but that's the same for any TIE Fighter. However the techniques used are interesting and the finished model is very sturdy. Official images of this ship have been released and the movie accuracy appears very good. The scale of the model has been forsaken for detail - it is completely out of proportion with a Special Forces TIE fighter.
The minifigures are incredible! Kylo Ren comes with a new head-piece showing his scar and it's dual sided - angry or very angry. The new fabric cape resembles the new one he has in the film. However I preferred a metallic grey lightsaber hilt rather than a black one. The TIE pilot's helmet finally has red stripes which wasn't included in the Special Forces TIE. BB-9E is a new First Order astromech and printed with a lot of detail. FAN FACT: On set BB-9E was referred to as 'Bee Bee Hate'. The First Order Stormtrooper completes the selection nicely.
I think this is an amazing set and definitely one of the best from The Last Jedi range. It's price is quite high but it's still an amazing model. If you're going to start with one of The Last Jedi sets, then this is the one to start with. "

First Order Heavy Scout Walker
" As no official images have been released (at the time of writing) of this walker from The Last Jedi I can't compare on accuracy but this vehicle is like nothing that's come before from the Star Wars universe.
The build is quite challenging as it's mainly technic and fiddly in some parts. It's quite repetitive as you're doing the same thing for both sides but the end result is worth it. The overall finished build reminds me of an AT-ST head on spiders legs! The way the legs have been designed to alternately move is amazing and the effect is brilliant when pushed around.
As it's a First Order vehicle it's obviously not colourful but the view screen is translucent red just like the Heavy Assault Walker. There's some nice detailing on the outside of the head along with room for Hux and the gunner inside. It looks like the walker has some heavy fire power with all the gun emplacements on the head but we'll have to see it in action in The Last Jedi.
The minifigures are an excellent selection. The flametrooper and the gunner are the same as in previous sets but have excellent printing. General Hux comes with an actual hair-piece this time unlike in Kylo Ren's Shuttle where he had a hat. The printing of his uniform is very detailed but I think an actual fabric coat would complete the minifigure even better. The sneer on his face seems typical of his character. Finally, there's a female Resistance fighter with a new helmet that incorporates the visor into it which looks brilliant and the printing on the torso is highly detailed.
Altogether I really like this model because it's just so different. It's not bad value for money too. Some of the other Last Jedi sets might be more iconic or more desirable but don't rule this one out of your collection. "

'Chewie, we're home.'
" I wasn't convinced that a character like Chewbacca would work as a build-able figure but I was pleasantly surprised.
The build is more challenging than other figures but some of the techniques used are brilliant, especially in creating Chewie's bandolier and bowcaster. The finished figure looks amazing and is huge! Even taller than Darth Vader - which is movie accurate.
The pose-ability of the model is very good although there isn't much movement in the head due to the 'fur'. I think the colour scheme looks just like Chewbacca in the films and I like his expression: gentle but with the possibility of rage. The choice of feet is a bit odd and I don't think the claws quite work. Also there is no printing whatsoever on the back of the figure so it looks rather dull from behind. It would have been nice to see printing on everything.
Chewie's bowcaster looks great but the spheres on the ends should have been larger for better movie accuracy. The custom piece for his bandolier is brilliant but it would have been better if it went all the way around rather than just sit on the front.
This is a really great build-able figure and Lego have done a good job in taking such an organic character and making it into a realistic model. If you're going to buy The Last Jedi figures then start with Chewie! "

'This is why I hate flying!'
" This model accurately portrays Obi Wan's Delta 7 Aethersprite Light Class Interceptor (to give the ship its full name) amazingly and is in my opinion one of the best Star Wars sets released.
The build is slightly challenging with interesting techniques used to get the shape right and is only slightly repetitive for the hyperdrive ring. The colour scheme is movie accurate and overall the model is very sturdy.
The ship has a good shape and the designers have added space to store Obi Wan's lightsaber underneath the wing and R4's body in the ship, which is very helpful. Extra details like the Republic insignia have been added through stickers. The stud shooters add playability but detract from the aesthetic of the ship.
The hyperdrive ring is a work of genius! This is the most time-consuming and repetitive part of the build but the end result is worth it. Spring loaded shooters have been included but they're nicely hidden. The mechanism that holds the ship onto the hyperdrive ring works well and there's no way for the ship to fall off.
The minifigures are standouts. The last time we saw Jango Fett was back in 2013 and this minifigure is an improvement with better colours. The young Boba Fett is brilliant with detailed printing and wears a malicious grin. Again he hasn't been seen since 2013. Obi Wan Kenobi is detailed with his pilot headpiece printed on his face. R4-P17 is Obi Wan's droid and completes the selection.
There hasn't been a Jedi starfighter like this in over 10 years so the model will look unusual in any collection. Overall this is an incredible set that I would recommend to Star Wars or Clone Wars fans as the ship appears in both. However the price is a bit more than it's worth. "
