Fine
" Main issue I have with this set is the misleading advertising. This along with Ninjago city gardens clearly show gold pieces that look drum lacquered and shiny like the gold pieces on the monkey kid mech. I don't mind pearl gold and the average kid is not even going to notice. But still the photoshopping should be reigned in or maybe put a disclaimer.

Bit blocky
" I just watched the movie. Sisu the Dragon is like a mix of My little pony and Chinese dragon design and we've seen decent chinese dragons from lego before. This doesn't look right or like either.. pale face, oversized horns and blocky legs. The eye colour is brown instead of purple. Considering the whole theme is centered around this character some better molds probably would have been justified.
The rest of the set seems alright, nice colours that hit the right tone and the minidoll looks fine.. but boys could have been targeted for this theme.

Thoughts
" Blind boxes.. bad idea.. I've already picked up boxes that have been ripped into because nobody wants this.
The icecream saxaphone guy is awesome
Sharkdude and wolf is also pretty great
The rest of them.. are okay except
The panda and the cheetah, who's expression disturbs me to the point I think they look better flipped around. "

What a fail. Nice minifig though.
" Bought this for the minifig since I'm collecting pirates. It has pretty great detailing, the dots-like thing on the back is nifty and the the tiles are useful as albums or posters for custom stuff. Though the brick separator included is useless for this set.
The app.. What a piece of junk. IOS exclusive(this could have been a webapp) every asset required is downloaded as needed anyway. so my experience was 35 minutes of download and loading screens(kids are so patient amirite?). The scan brought up incorrect tiles and then finally crashed twice before It could do anything.
Having seen the end result footage I wasn't impressed. But honestly lego needs to give up on this idea...especially with shoddy half-hearted attempts like with this and hidden side. Parent buy lego to get kids off their phones... and a tik-tok clone that doesn't allow sharing is completely redundant. "

Things of note
" The Good.
It's a work of art, makes great use of its space, looks good from multiple angles, lines up great with other ninjago city sets and has a tonne of references for all lego fans as well as interesting fresh building techniques. It's the second tallest set I own after Orthanc.

That being said.. I had some quality issues relating to the pink trans pieces on the top being noticeable scratched. As well as an issue with the trans stickers having a weird pattern glue texture occur. Hopefully Lego can solve these issues for future sets.

I bought it for the shark

Uninspired bad playset
" This bat-cave is meh. Much better sets for ninjago and harry potter.
Minifig wise it's a mixed bag. Catwoman is good and two face is alright. Batwoman is fine(nobody cares) and batman and robin can be found in cheaper sets.
Clayface looks terrible but the articulation is good.
The cave itself has few features that allow for open play. With a whole section dedicated to hold another set.. Bad design. The prison is token and the batman transformation things works well(but is a rehash of older set).
Other ideas are just not thought out.. The gym is uninteresting to kids and the buzzsaw jetpack is dumb for adults.. how does he incapacitate someone and not cut off an arm..
The bat-tank build was better than I expected... it plays well and works with the set.
On sale the set is only just worth it.. Forget it if its RRP. "

Decent Dragon
" Great Display model. Bad toy. Sidebuild and figures are decent.
Model barely stands under its own weight and causes the legs to come apart at the fixed shoulder joints(see picture). Wings could not articulate up or down without modding(see picture).. I flipped the wing holders and moved some body parts out of the way
The stud shooters are bad. Tail is also a bit unwieldy and sits loose.
Overall a cool dragon with some notable flaws. "

Just buy it
" I'm just going to compare it to barracuda bay and say while i love that set for scale and nostalgia..this is a better deal. A very versatile set. The main ship build is complete. My only gripe is they could have used more of the spare parts on the side builds.. but they are still very good builds with useful play features. The set is basically perfect.

What is this
" This set is bad.
The build is unimpressive. It's 1 play feature is pointless and tacked on. The side part and grey flooring is flimsily attached. It makes a poor playset to boot.
The best thing about the set is the wonder woman minifig.. the other 2 figures are a random dude and an unreleased bad-guy - cheetah.
I needed tan bricks and have no issues tearing this apart after doing the build.
I would avoid this set unless you want the ww minifig or some parts. "
