"PROS: A fun a slightly technical build. For a vehicle not actually in the movies I kinda wish it was. It had a neat feel to the design and the build was far more simplistic than I though but really quite clever. Visually I wouldn't pick it as a display piece but it was a refreshing build. The figure assortment was nice. Also no stickers in this one so that was a plus.
CONS: As with a lot of the Last Jedi sets...at least 20% overpriced. This is a $40 set at best so wait for a sale. Not a playable set for kids...the moving parts and lack of sturdy build make it fall apart pretty easily."
"PROS: Displays well, and very swooshable for play. It has a great set of figures and the extras fit with the set. Y-Wing sets have always had a good variety in parts and this one is no exception. A very well rounded set with great play and display features. Another hit for the Rouge One sets.
CONS: Price per part is pretty high. Stickers on curved parts really like to peel."
"PROS: I like this visual of this ship a lot because it reminds me of the TIE Phantom from the Legends/Extended Universe. It is swooshable and well built for play. The set is worth getting just for the parts...it has 3 canopy parts alone and several rare and valuable components to adult and expert builders. The figures are also fun and I believe completely unique to the set. I have always liked the probe droid and this version I think is my favorite. It may not be a canon vehicle but I actually recommend picking it up especially if it goes on sale.
"PROS: Fantastic figures and a really fun set of play features. Kids really like the brick built monsters. This set is not pretty to look at but the play features make up for it. Most of the figures are unique to this set giving it some collectable value. The modular design also means it can be stacked with others to expand the decks quite a lot.
CONS: Price...this set is well overpriced per part compared to the rest of the SW line in the same wave. Get it, but absolutely wait for a 20% off sale."
"PROS: Movie accurate. Very swooshable and sturdy build for play. Looks really good on display. Play features are simple and don't detract from the model visually. Price is fair. The part selection was good and provides some nice new elements. Figures were also good with maybe the best version of Kylo to date. The extra pilot was also welcome.
"PROS: Looks like the source. Plays and displays very nicely. Had a good assortment of figures and the additions to the set felt functional and well thought out. It was a fun build if not a little expected. The selection of parts made for a good balance and addition to a collection.
CONS: Stickers on curved elements really like to peel. Those should have been painted. Price is slightly high even for Star Wars."
"PROS: The vehicle seems fairly movie accurate. It is surprisingly swooshable and sturdy. As a set it plays really well. It seems to accurately recreate the movie scene.
CONS: The build was not very challenging and frankly tedious. This set is WAY overpriced for what you get. They should have eliminated the base elements that feel tacked on and sold this set for $40. This set was so unpopular that I found it on clearance 2 weeks after the movie came out. If I had not gotten it for 60% off I would have passed entirely. Visually this set does not display well and just feels really phoned in. It feels like the designed forgot hey had a due date and turned it in after a Redbull fuel night of rushing to make the grade."
"PROS: Clever and fun build and really swooshable design. I'll be honest most of the Lego SW originals have not been great...but this one is fun. It has a good selection of parts and good figures. The ship itself has a nice feel to it and it displays well.
"PROS: Looks fantastic...very spot on to the source material. From the design aspect this is one of the best Lego has done. The angled facets have very little gap in the panels and the finished build looks incredible. It displays very well but is also swooshable and sturdy for play. The play features are great. Good number of figures with a couple exclusives. The Rouge One sets are really striking the balance of good play function and great looking.
"PROS: Super swooshable and VERY stable for play and space battles. Extremely well designed. Was a great use of technical building and looks pretty close to the movie source. The play features are well designed and fun...especially the locking mechanism for the docking fighter. I also love the clever build to hide the droid body while he is in the fighter. The figures were exactly the ones this set should have come with and very welcome. Displays well for adult collectors.
CONS: This was really an $80 set not $100 and if it had not been a Toys R Us exclusive I expect that is what would have actually been charged."
