Cool key chain
" My two oldest grandchildren had to have this key chain. They loved it and use it for their house keys for after school. I bought a third for myself (my old stormtrooper one was worn smooth) . I'm amazed at how many people see it and recognize it as Max.
A very fun key chain...!

Super Crane
" I love Lego cranes! I've built the 7249, 8053, 8045, and the best of the bunch the 8421. You will not be disappointed in this set. It is different from all the other crane sets.
The outriggers swing out instead of lower. Each one independently levels. The pulley system at the end of the arm works great. The arm extends to nearly two feet.
The best part of this set is the "linear actuator". Unlike other cranes that depended on pneumatic cylinders to raise and lower the main arm, this set uses a linear actuator. A gear turns at the base of the actuator and a shaft extends or contracts. I'm willing to bet among Technic builders, this is the hottest new part for 2010!
I constructed the mobile crane first and then went with the alternate build of the harbor crane. I rebuilt the base so it would glide on a pair of railroad tracks and use it in my shipping yard of my train layout. Looks and works great.
At under 8 cents per brick, this set is at a very low price.

Big Build
" This set took two of us two nights to build. If there is only one person building it, I would stretch it out over four or more session.
There are some great building techniques used to construct that wings and main body. A combination of Technic beams and regular bricks to create a very cool design. The building experience alone is worth the purchase. It does get rather repetitive if it's just a single builder working on it.
Once complete the set is very nice looking, and very big. Even without the stand, it's over a foot and a half high. It is well constructed and has one of the highest swoosh factors ever!

Nice detail
" After purchasing the set 3222 Helicopter and Limousine, I decided to build a larger, more to scale Limo.. I purchased 6 Police Motorcycle sets as escorts for it.
They look very nice on the train layout, and the first thing you think is that the President or a movie star is driving through town. They have lots of detail, and even though their per brick cost is over 14 cents, it's still a good price.

A good add on
" I purchased this set on sale at a local store. With only 78 bricks it went together very fast. It has a lot of detail for the size. It fit right in with my other farm sets. The minifig was a nice bonus. You can never have to much help on the farm.
At the regular price this set is a bit high priced at nearly 17 cents a brick. On sale it was a great price.

Not the best
" We own almost all of the other Lego games. This one was disappointing. The playing area isn't large enough to bring a lot of strategy into play. Luck has more to do with things than anything. Normally that would be a good thing in a kids game, not with this one. There's to much of a chance of being out of the game early, leaving grand kids sitting on the sideline just watching.
There are many other great Lego games, skip this one.

Good all purpose truck
" One of the younger grandchildren wanted a "Lego truck like everyone else". So we purchased him the Duplo Dump Truck.
The truck is big enough to haul stuff in, and small enough for small hands to handle. It spends as much time outside as it does in. So far it has held up well, everything still turns and lifts.
The price is a good value for what your getting...

Nice looking Hilo
" The set is a quick build, under a half an hour. Very straight forward, no tricky parts. This is the second helicopter to use airplane parts (7206 is the other) for the nose and tail. Giving it a sleek aerodynamic look. Once completed it diffidently has the look and feel of a private helicopter.
The limo is scaled to smaller city sets (4 wide) such as the 7241 Fire Car or the 7941 Off road Rescue, it will not fit in with sets like the 7638 Tow Truck or 7641 City Corner (6 wide).
The set is priced right at a per brick cost of a little over 11 cents..

A nice surprise
" I purchased this set mainly for the minifigs. Once I got the set assembled, I really liked the way it looked. It's a very accurate set, a specially from the back.
The set went together in under an hour. There are a few building methods that I thought were unusual. Once together the set is solid and will stand up to lots of play. The minifigs are great, Cad Bane, and Shahan Alama, are the best in the set. Good detail on both.
At a per brick price of almost 16 cents, the price is a bit high.

5 Bricks all the way
" I rarely give five bricks in all three areas, this set deserved it. Our younger grandchildren felt left out when it came to Lego and trains. This set took care of that.
The tracks go together easy, even for small hands. They may need some help for the layout in the picture, but not much. Playability wise, there is lots to do. Three car train, Engine, tanker and cargo wagon. The grand kids converted the tanker to another cargo hauler. Using the crane to remove bricks and the conveyor belt to load them back up. The conveyor belt works very well and is one of the most used parts of the set. You can stop the train and fuel it up. There's a Rail road crossing with arms. Plus a lot more.
If the younger kids in your life love watching the older kids (adults) play with Lego trains, this is a good set to start with.
