"The LEGO Movie 2 Accessory Set, while rather small, is an easy way to get an Emmet Brickowski minifigure, along with some other cool things. It includes an Apocalypseburg citizen, with spear and functional crossbow elements, and two exclusive Sewer Baby microfigures, along with the front end of a vintage yellow car, used as a barrier in the fight between Apocalypseburg and the Systar aliens. For the sale price, this set is a steal. My only issue with this set was that the one I received was missing a small yellow 1x, even after thoroughly searching the packaging. This is the first time I have ever come across a set with a missing element, but it’s not a big deal, being such a small piece, but I do wish the set I received had been complete."
"Cole’s Speeder Car is an interesting little set that most would rule out as being “not worth it”, but the way I see it, this set is a “diamond in the rough”. It comes with two minifigures, Digi Cole and Richie the Whack Rat, the former being only available in this set and the much more pricey Temple Of Madness set, making it an inexpensive way to acquire him. The main component of the set is a race car that, in Season 12 of the LEGO Ninjago TV series, Digi Cole drives in the Speedway 5,000,000,000 race to help save the ninja. The car is easy to build and a great model for display or play, with big rear wheels and a printed hood piece, so those with trouble concerning stickers, no worries here! In addition to these, it also includes a hoverboard and Prime Controller weapon for Richie, a Digi chain, and the Key-Tana prize for winning the Speedway 5,000,000,000 race. Overall a great set that pleases kids and adults alike."
"Kai Avatar - Arcade Pod is a red-hot find with much play and travel potential. It features two versions of Kai, Master of Fire; Digi Kai with golden Prime controller katana, and Cobra Kai Avatar with dynamite stick and elemental flame pieces. Kai’s avatar costume is exclusive to this set and features the only Kai hair piece in yellow, as well as a special face-paint Kai head piece. These minifigures, along with their weapons, are neatly stored inside a red arcade cabinet. The stickers are the only challenging component of this set, but with a steady hand and a little patience, it shouldn’t be too hard to get on. The arcade cabinet is an excellent display piece or addition to one’s playroom, but either way, it is an awesome set and is guaranteed to please. Just hope it isn’t too hot to handle with all those flames!"
"Emmet’s Dream House/Rescue Rocket is a dream 2-in-1 set for LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part fans and LEGO fans alike. Featuring three minifigures, including the exclusive Asteroid Breaker Rex Dangervest minifigure, and the buildable Planty and Unikitty figures, the characters are a huge plus. The house build for this set is superb, with an eating room, a living room, and the dangerous “kitty room”. As for the outside accessories, they help recreate the ambiance of the Apocalypseburg world from the first segment of the movie. The rescue rocket build is very thought-through and in my opinion, utterly amazing. From the push-missiles, to the cockpit with enough room for two characters, to the secret compartment in the roof, this version of the set is chock-full of interesting features. And when the time comes for Emmet to navigate the asteroid field, Asteroid Breaker Rex can swoop in for the rescue with his cool jetpack, complete with lightning exhaust flames. As for value vs. price, I would say that this is the best value for the price that I have ever seen in any LEGO set ever, for this house/rocket it not just a facade, but it is the real, awesome deal. Happy building!"
"Rex’s Plantimal Ambush is an outstanding little polybag set that, originally, was only available through one of LEGO’s promotions. Though it is very small, what you receive is worth every penny put into it. This set comes with three main elements: a “ferocious” Plantimal from the Systarian Jungles, a large blaster gun that would intimidate even the most fierce creatures, and, of course, a Rex Dangervest minifigure with muscles big enough to wield the mighty blaster with ease. The expressions the Rex minifigure has are the same as the ones that come with the Emmet’s Dream House/Rescue Rocket set: a confident one and a serious/disgusted one. The Plantimal is an easy build that feature a giant frond and a crab in the design. It also has four orange leaves at its base, which the Plantimal from the Rex’s Rex-treme Off-Roader set does not possess. Rex’s blaster is unique to this set and features two barrels and a minifigure grip. Overall, a great little set for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part enthusiasts."
"This set, which is part of the LEGO NINJAGO Legacy series, is one of the best sets I have seen LEGO come out with. Although the ninja’s outfits reflect Season 4: The Tournament of Elements of the LEGO Ninjago TV series, the vehicles originate from Season 3: Rebooted. Featuring five minifigures, including the exclusive characters Legacy Tournament Jay and Legacy Tournament Cole, it is good for expanding one’s minifigure collection. The Thunder Raider itself is a great tank, complete with opening cockpit, fold-down flaps with missiles attached, and 16-count treads. The Earth Mech is also amazing, with missile-shooting arms, jointed legs, a minifigure harness, and the unique ability to latch on to the rear of the Thunder Raider for fast traveling. For the price, it more than satisfies. With fantastic play possibilities, this is one set you want to acquire before the websites post the “sold out” signs."
"This set is one of my all-time favorite sets. Containing two different versions of Jay Walker, what’s not to like? The best part of this set, in my opinion, is the Superstar Rockin’ Jay minifigure. With his fluorescent face-paint and blazing blue, electric lightning guitar, this avatar of Jay is truly unique, as well as probably my favorite minifigure I have ever possessed. Digi Jay is also a great minifigure, especially with his golden Prime Empire controller and special digitized facial expression. The arcade cabinet itself is a great piece, being very displayable while, at the same time, having a great playing experience. While the stickers are a feat to get on, they really contribute to the arcade cabinet’s vintage gaming feel. I would highly recommended this set to any NINJAGO enthusiast and even those who just like LEGO, for this set is definitely a demonstration of the phrase “little is the new big”."
"First, I would like to note that this set is an excellent addition to any LEGO fan’s collection, especially if they enjoy the NINJAGO theme. With nine minifigures, including the long awaited Pink GI Zane minifigure (which is exclusive to this particular set), one can be sure that they are getting a wide variety of characters from the NINJAGO Prime Empire show for a moderately low price. Also, the three market stands are fantastic, the central one containing the legendary Key-Tana, won after the battle with the Red Dragon.
Second, though, I noticed that in my specific set, the Digi Jay minifigure has a hood that is defective. Similar to what I have seen other reviewers write about, the letter “J” (in Ninjagon) on the front of the hood is off center, leaving a large blank spot where that printing should have been. One more observation is that my Hausner minifigure’s life bar above his head has printing that is faded, leading me to believe that perhaps the printing machine ran out of ink. I suppose that my set was unluckily faulty, an happening that rarely occurs.
Overall, it is a great set with awesome minifigures, one which I would definitely recommend."
