I’m Skylor, Master of—Wouldn’t You Like to Know?
" This Ninjago Elemental Masters Accessory set is one of the best add-on packs I have ever seen. Containing Skylor, Master of Amber; Shade, Master of Shadow; and Ash, Master of Smoke, this set is an excellent addition to anybody’s Tournament of Elements collection. In addition to the exclusive minifigures (the latter two characters can be found no place elsewhere), this pack comes with a scimitar, two black katanas with sheath, a shield, two smoke bombs, a bow and quiver, and a sushi piece (after all, in seasons 4-9 of the Ninjago television show, Skylor does run a noodle and sushi restaurant). Both Masters of Amber and Smoke have hair parts for the minifigures to don when they are not wearing their different hoods. While Masters of Shadow and Smoke appear in Ninjago season 4, LEGO tossed things up a bit by having Skylor’s outfit be the one from season 6. All in all, this is a great add-on set, so it makes me sad to see how quickly LEGO has retired this product.

A Legend Is Reborn
" If you missed the McLaren 750S set from back in 2017 like I did, here is your second chance. The McLaren Senna has already become a classic, and this set soon will, too. This iconic car, with its sleek gray and orange paint job, is a great set for anyone who loves things that are fast. This set, in addition to the car, comes with a McLaren driver wearing a unique Senna set of overalls, a spanner (or wrench) for changing wheels, and a brick-built wind fan for testing the aerodynamics of this sleek car. The build for this set is very interesting indeed, for some pieces are studs-down, others put in places one would never expect they would be placed, and a few specialized parts are included as well. I gave this set a 4/5 rating for playability because, as other reviewers have described, the rear wing is easy to detach, but this is hardly a reason to pass up this sweet ride. Altogether, this set is excellent and so very beautifully designed, especially in the front. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something enjoyable to do who wants a nice-looking result and has the need for speed.

Chevrolet Camaro Z1 Race Car
" The Chevrolet Camaro Z1 Race Car is a shining set for car enthusiasts ages 7+. Though it is smaller in stature and breadth than the otherwise larger Speed Champions that debuted a few months after this car made its first appearance in LEGO form, this model is surprisingly intricate. To start, this set comes with an exclusive Camaro racing driver, complete with blue helmet and licensed Chevy overalls. The minifigure also comes with a wrench (or spanner, if you like) element for him to change the wheels with, as well as a fuel tank to refill on gas (or petrol) during pit stops. The car itself is really a sight, with tires with the Chevy Camaro name printed on them, a specially-built roll cage, and a refueling dock. The color of this car is a beautiful royal blue, with elements of black and yellow. As for stickers, well, there are a few of them, but if they are a hassle for you, only one or two are needed for the car to look fantastic. At the current pricing, this set is a steal, so I would recommend looking into this set sooner rather than later.

Three Minutes? Let’s See if We Can Make it in Two!
" The Ninja X-1 Charger set is a great set for both LEGO Ninjago fans and car people alike. This is perhaps one of the largest cars LEGO makes outside of the TECHNIC franchise, and the fact that it can seat a minifigure adds points to the set’s value. Speaking of minifigures, this set comes with five: Legacy Tournament Kai, Legacy Tournament Jay, a Nindroid, Mindroid, and the ultra rare and exclusive Golden Cole minifigure. Golden Cole is supreme with his special 10 year anniversary stand, and many folks have purchased this set just to acquire the little guy, for this is the only way one can secure him on shop.LEGO.com. The car itself, the Ninja X-1 Charger, is from Season 3 of the LEGO Ninjago TV series, and wow, is it huge. I suppose the highest selling point for this set (besides Golden Cole) is the fact that within the car is a detachable motorcycle, which is great for the playing experience. In addition to the aforementioned motorbike, the X-1 Charger has flick missiles that are located behind the car’s cockpit. For dimensions, I would estimate that the car is almost three minifigures wide, 2/3 am minifigure high (at the hood), and six or seven minifigures long. I would definitely recommend this set to a friend, as well as anyone interested in Ninjago or cars in general.

Remember, you can only call on the Dragon once!
" Jay’s Cyber Dragon has to be one of the most impressive sets I have ever had the privilege of owning. This set encompasses five minifigures: Digi Jay, the exclusive Digi Nya, Emperor Unagami, Whack Rats Richie and Hausner, each with their own hoverboard, a Key-tana with a stand and, of course, the Cyber Dragon. The minifigures are for the most part pretty common, but Digi Nya is, as I previously stated, exclusive, so if that is not an incentive to get this set, I wonder what would be. The Key-tana is the second Key-tana the ninja needed to earn (the green one) in the Ninjago TV show which surprised me, since the closest Key-tana to the dragon in the show was the pink one, not that I’m complaining. As for the build, it was quite enjoyable and relaxing. The dragon has two bolt-shooters in its chest, which can be released by pushing down the button on its back. One thing I noticed about the Cyber Dragon was how extremely posable it is. The dragon has joints in its legs, tail, neck, and even its trunk, making it great for play. It also has rare turquoise-blue colored bricks all along its back, if it is bricks one is interested in. All in all, Jay’s Cyber Dragon is a great set with so much play potential, it would be a wonder if it doesn’t sell out soon, so get one while they are still available.

I am Prime Empire; I am Unagami.
" The Empire Temple of Madness is a real treat for any LEGO Ninjago enthusiast. While it may appear basic on the website, once built, it is something magnificent to behold. It contains six minifigures, including the exclusive Sushimi sushi chef, as well as three digi-ninja, the emperor Unagami, and an iconic Red Visor. The build is very intricate, with some pieces that, I admit, even I have never seen before. The Temple of Madness encompasses two main levels, as well as a pedestal at the top of the model that holds the final Key-tana. If twisted while on its resting place, the Key-tana causes the throne room’s (the main level) doors to open revealing what lies inside. The throne room is decorated with bricks that resemble circuitry, and has, of course, Emperor Unagami’s throne that is able to pivot in a complete 360 degree circle. The second level has two rooms: the sushi kitchen and the arcade room. In the sushi kitchen is a box full of evil sushi monsters, which, if released, can wreak havoc on the steps leading to the kitchen. The arcade room contains a buildable Prime Empire arcade cabinet and three Prime swords on a weapons rack. The Temple of Madness is an excellent addition to one’s Prime Empire collection, and is a hidden gem among many, so I would advise that you secure this set before it soon sells out.

Good Morning Apocalypseburg!
" The LEGO Movie 2 Accessory Set, while rather small, is an easy way to get an Emmet Brickowski minifigure, along with some other cool things. It includes an Apocalypseburg citizen, with spear and functional crossbow elements, and two exclusive Sewer Baby microfigures, along with the front end of a vintage yellow car, used as a barrier in the fight between Apocalypseburg and the Systar aliens. For the sale price, this set is a steal. My only issue with this set was that the one I received was missing a small yellow 1x, even after thoroughly searching the packaging. This is the first time I have ever come across a set with a missing element, but it’s not a big deal, being such a small piece, but I do wish the set I received had been complete.

Confidence Is The First Step To Winning
" Cole’s Speeder Car is an interesting little set that most would rule out as being “not worth it”, but the way I see it, this set is a “diamond in the rough”. It comes with two minifigures, Digi Cole and Richie the Whack Rat, the former being only available in this set and the much more pricey Temple Of Madness set, making it an inexpensive way to acquire him. The main component of the set is a race car that, in Season 12 of the LEGO Ninjago TV series, Digi Cole drives in the Speedway 5,000,000,000 race to help save the ninja. The car is easy to build and a great model for display or play, with big rear wheels and a printed hood piece, so those with trouble concerning stickers, no worries here! In addition to these, it also includes a hoverboard and Prime Controller weapon for Richie, a Digi chain, and the Key-Tana prize for winning the Speedway 5,000,000,000 race. Overall a great set that pleases kids and adults alike.

“Re-Spawn” Is My New Favorite Word!
" Kai Avatar - Arcade Pod is a red-hot find with much play and travel potential. It features two versions of Kai, Master of Fire; Digi Kai with golden Prime controller katana, and Cobra Kai Avatar with dynamite stick and elemental flame pieces. Kai’s avatar costume is exclusive to this set and features the only Kai hair piece in yellow, as well as a special face-paint Kai head piece. These minifigures, along with their weapons, are neatly stored inside a red arcade cabinet. The stickers are the only challenging component of this set, but with a steady hand and a little patience, it shouldn’t be too hard to get on. The arcade cabinet is an excellent display piece or addition to one’s playroom, but either way, it is an awesome set and is guaranteed to please. Just hope it isn’t too hot to handle with all those flames!

Mind If I Save Your Life?
" Emmet’s Dream House/Rescue Rocket is a dream 2-in-1 set for LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part fans and LEGO fans alike. Featuring three minifigures, including the exclusive Asteroid Breaker Rex Dangervest minifigure, and the buildable Planty and Unikitty figures, the characters are a huge plus. The house build for this set is superb, with an eating room, a living room, and the dangerous “kitty room”. As for the outside accessories, they help recreate the ambiance of the Apocalypseburg world from the first segment of the movie. The rescue rocket build is very thought-through and in my opinion, utterly amazing. From the push-missiles, to the cockpit with enough room for two characters, to the secret compartment in the roof, this version of the set is chock-full of interesting features. And when the time comes for Emmet to navigate the asteroid field, Asteroid Breaker Rex can swoop in for the rescue with his cool jetpack, complete with lightning exhaust flames. As for value vs. price, I would say that this is the best value for the price that I have ever seen in any LEGO set ever, for this house/rocket it not just a facade, but it is the real, awesome deal.
