Nice, compact set
" When I saw what new Ninjago sets were going to be released, I was quite pleased to see the number of smaller sets. This is one of the smallest (actual sets) released in the Ninjago theme, but it's a great set even though it's price is not large.
The Minifigures:
Kai is awesome in his tournament suit, and it's probably one of my favorite Kai suites yet. (And, his hair is awesome, as always.)
The Anacondrai warrior is also very neat; the purple and white tattoos on the new bad guy figures are pretty cool, and I also like the fact that they all have purple legs.

The main build is great for it's size, and almost the same size as it is pictured on the box; only slightly bigger. When the last step is pushed down, the swords are supposed to flip up. It's an awesome design, but sometimes the sword on the left swings over to the right, and vice versa. But, other than that, it's pretty flawless. The double jade blade weapon is much bigger than I had originally thought. It's quite a bit bigger than Kai, but it's really cool that way. Overall, I would give this set a 9.7 out of 10.

We all knew Lloyd HAD to have a car!
" First of all, it was kind of a fluke that I actually got this set; strangly, it was in a store 5 days beore it was scheduled to be released. There wasn't even a place for it on the shelves!
I was going to spend my money on Jay's Electro Mech, but I'm very happy that I decided to get this set instead. This is BY FAR Lloyd's best vehicle. But first, I need to talk about the minifigures:
Lloyd in his Tournament robes = Pure Awesomeness. I really like the sleevless design, and the mouth-covering bandana. His sand green belt looks great, and the black and gold highlights make him look great. 9.5 out of 10 for him!
The Anacondrai warrior that came with the set looks much better than I expected. His helmet is a new (and really cool design), and his purple legs with all of the other things printed on it look great. The only thing I don't like about him is his mouth. It should have been more of a smirk or a scowl in my opinion: not a 'I'm Hungry' look. But besides that, I would give him a 8.5 out of 10.
The new Jade Blade weapon is very cool, but unfortunately dosen't have the dragon design it does in the TV show. But, other than that, it looks really cool.
Now, to the actual vehicle: It looks sooo much better in real life then it does on the box, that's for sure. The huge off road wheels are awesome, and the suspension in the back is great. The (I guess not really new anymore) spring-loaded shooters in the front are fired by pressing the gold piece right in front of Lloyd. The spoiler actually looks like it belongs on the set (because some of the Lego cars looks like they picked up the spoiler after driving through a junk heap), which i really liked. Also, it had a good amount of green on it. Sometimes, the Ninja's vehicles are a little too much of their elemental color. This one, though, is a perfect balance of green, gold, grey, and black. Overall, I would give this vehicle a 9.7 out of 10.
This is a great Ninjago set, and I would 100% recomend this to anyone!

YES! Accurate Kashyyyk Troopers!
" This is an overall great set, but the best pare are the Kashyyyk Troopers! The 2005 ones were ok; the colors were off, and their helmets didn't look great, but these new ones are AWESOME! Their colors are just perfect; they are so movie accurate! Some of the best minifigures in a battle pack ever!!!
The swamp skimmer is very cool, but I don't ever remember seeing it in the movie. It's a great build, much smaller than the original ones, and it looks more sleek and small. It has room for 2 troops to sit, which I liked, and the fan rotates, and is fully functional.
Overall, I would give this set a 9/10.

Just Plain AWESOME
" This Battle pack is probably the best one yet. These troops are my favorite with their orange-and-white armour, and the dirt on them adds some great effect.
The 2 standard Utapau troopers are really cool; they look very movie accurate. Very nice.
The Airborn Troopers are very cool as well; I like the light grey kama armour (or whatever it's called) on their legs, which looks great. It would have been nice though if they had some kind of shoulder paldron or something for extra detail, but they look great anyway.
The droid is EPIC! It is huge compared to how it's shown on the box, probably about 3 minifigures tall! It's legs are fully functional, And it's head rotates quite well, and the missles are a great feature.
I would definatly rate this set a 10/10!

Awesome Minifigures
" Before I talk about this set in particular, I just wanted to say how happy I am about Lego going back to the standard 4 minifigure battle pack. The 2 bad guy-2 good guy sets were ok, but these help build an army much larger, with less sets purchased.
This set is very cool, and the minifigures are amazing. I have always wanted a Royal Guard, but I wasn't able to ever get one until now. But, these are much better than the originals. The dark red arms make the minifigure much more movie accurate, and the 2 color cape is very cool. The weapon dosen't look very much like the one from the movie, but I guess it is an improvement from the black spear they originally had.
The Death Star gunners are very cool; I like the details on the legs and helmet. And it was surprising to find that they each had a different face. I liked that quite a bit. And the new guns, although pretty fat, are pretty cool as well. They have definatly grown on me since they were released.
The main build is pretty nice; bigger than I expected. It was surprisingly movie accurate, but it dosent do much more than spin, go up and down, and shoot a flick-fire missile. But, it looks nice.
So overall, I would give this set a 9/10.

Best Ninjago Set Yet
" Battle for Ninjago City... Probably the best Ninjago set released yet! The main build was teriffic, and the small extras were very cool as well. The Overlord's Chair was very neat, and also very movie accurate. Even though the glider wasn't shown in the Ninjago TV show, it is very fun to play with, and much more sturdy than I expected it to be. The Minifigures were great, but the one con that I had was Jay. Even though he looks really cool in his Techno Robes with the armour, it would have been cool if he would have had the Stone Warrior Armour printing on his shirt, like Lloyd. And the Samurai X Minifigure looks much better than it looked on the box, which I was very happy about. The Temple itself has lots of great play features; my favorite is probably the spikes that pop up out of the floor in the doorway. That part works very well and is nicely designed. But, my ULTIMATE favorite thing about this set is that it completed my whole 2014 collection of Ninjago minifigures! Yay!
