"Everyone who has seen this has taken it off the shelf and played with it, it looks outstanding!
The hardest part of the build is the fourth set of bags, I spent about four and a half hours on it.
My favorite part of this is thae way the steering wheel tilts and turns as the steering on the rear of the truck is turned.
The hood tilts up showing the engine which is not the usual V engine, it is a nice look.
My only real complaints are that the antennae on the doors come off easily as does the front of the truck. I can't let most people play with it as they are not going to be careful with it. Also the cranes have a problem lifting the cargo container, maybe I am not doing it right, but the cargo box with the chains almost tips the truck over when taking the container off of the truck.
As stated before it looks amazing, the features are cool. The steering and the engine are a welcome change. Whoever designed this it looks great and the steering is cool to play with. The engine is nice to look at. The outriggers and winches are not ideal for me.
"The set goes together easily, once built the two vehicles are really fun to play with. The cargo containers can be manipulated easily by the loader.
The boom on the lift is adjustable and telescopes, a very nice design. Almost as fun as the Telehandler. This kit is the start of a really nice airport for me.
Great design and excellent playability, much recommended."
"The set is easy to put together, there are no real tricks here, the unit goes together really quickly and has some good playability. Once it is together it is sturdy enough to play with, small kids can do all of the steps in this set.
The only thing I am not fond of is this set screams to put a minifig into the cabin, but the seats are not ideal for it. It isn't hard to modify them, but the way it is designed, I can't recommend putting minifigs in there.
In short, inexpensive and easy, a good starter set to see if the kids will like Technic."
"This is a really fast build, but just because it is fast, does not mean it should be ignored. The landing gear on the plane is a nice touch.
It is smaller than the other Lego planes I have done in the past, but I don't mind letting other people play with it, it is sturdy and I am not worried that the neighbors kids are going to destroy it by playing with it.
The designer of this was very clever in making this stable and sturdy. The stickers are really nice looking and the look of the plane is nice.
Highly recommended if you can still find it and buy it, do so."
"I was looking forward to this one, so when it came out I ran to the Lego store and picked it up. The set is well designed, but the playability just isn't there for me. The way it is set up, the moulding pops off with little effort.
I love the way the minifigs fit into the cycles to look like they are merged into the cycle like in the movies.
The trails of the cycles are a very good idea. It will look better once I put a couple of LED lights into it to make them truly light up like light cycles.
The display is nice, and the cycles are pretty, the trails need to wrap around and extend. But that is an unfair call on my part.
I look forward to getting more time to play with them."
"I purchased this originally as I thought the car body could be motorized. It turns out thatI will be keeping the suspension intact as it is possibly the best part of this model. I put it together and was amazed at the detail put in to the suspension.
The car goes together with no major surprises, but it has some amazing functionality that I did not expect. The suspension and shock absorbers actually allow the car to lean and take bumps properly.
The car screams motorize me and I am going to do just that. I am going to try and put a simple L motor in it with a servo motor for steering. The IR and battery box should fit in if I remove the fan under the hood.
It looks good, the stickers really work on this one. The color scheme stands out, but it is missing a lot of advertisements which would be on a real rally or race car.
Both the hood and back are able to be opened up and show off the internal details, which was a nice touch.
The steering seems to be unnecessarily limited as a real rally car can turn its wheels a lot more than this one does.
All in all a fun build, and a tremendous design. Whoever you were, thank you, I have had a lot of fun on this model."
"This is an amazing build, I can't believe that it is retired. I was fortunate to find one with a damaged box.
Whoever designed this, thank you, the pneumatic arm is similar to the arrocs, but different, the way it also works with the winch.
Sending the hoses through the truck is fairly easy, but I messed something up the first time I did it and had to get to one of the hoses and re-attach it.
The way this all works is so cool the outriggers are manual, but really stable.
"The set builds quickly, there is only one thing that I am not happy about, The left and right hand "doors" that open for the chest plate. The red piece, when you play with it, keeps popping off.
It is very cool to put the minifigs in to the hulkbuster, and the ball launcher is a neat idea.
The build is a very hybrid build using a lot of Technic pieces, and some "normal" bricks. All in all, it was fun to build, the bags are numbered, and it goes together really quickly. There are no major challenges and it looks great.
Thank you designers, it was a great build, and it is fun t oplay with."
