"I was thrilled to see this come out, I remember watching the Yellow Submarine movie and the toys that were out for it at the time. This fits right in with the spirit of them.
The build was fun, the mini figures of John, Paul, George, Ringo, and Jeremy are great. The submarine is a unique display piece. The only thing I would have added would have beem a couple of blue meanies.
It is on display with some of the other models, and I really like it.
"This was difficult to find at the Lego stores, and online. I went in to Toys R Us and what do you know, they had it!
The build is ingenious, the internal core once built allows you to add the outside which is all Lego and NO STICKERS! As you can see, it will stand up on its own,and can be displayed vertically or horizontally.
The instructions are very clear and the book has a great backstory. I remember watching the Moon landing many years ago, this was a pleasure to build and brought back find memories of when the entire world was united.
The build was tremendous, it can be carried from the bottom section. The sections do separate from each other. I am thinking about hanging this from the ceiling like a model I used to have many years ago.
Truly,I would love to see the launch gantry idea come out for this. It would be very nice to display both together. It is very tall and really stands out, whenever someone comes over, it receives compliments from all who see it."
"I loved this set, the build took me longer as I used the wrong flat pieces in the beginning in the arches, you use the longer pieces, I used the smaller which took me a while to figure out.
The scale is petite and the level of detail is exceptional!
"When I saw this came out as a LEGO idea set, I had to get it.A terrific and stunning model.
It was an easy build, I loved making it, it would have been five hours but a couple of the flat yellow panels were missing, LEGO got them to me shortly after I let them know about it, thank you LEGO!
Such a pretty car, I can see myself taking it out for a spin."

These can be jack stands, or they can be in the trunk/boot
"Normally I do Technic models, but I saw it and thought it would go great with the Buckingham Palace, it is a very nicely detailed iconic double decker bus. I think it will also go well with the large Big Ben.
The build was done in stages, I started Sunday night and worked on it for a bit. I then finished it on Monday morning. The build was a lot of fun, I found one step that gave me a small problem until I realized I had placed a clear stud in the wrong place for the lid to seal.
There are many extra details, like the umbrella stand and the newspaper that someone left behind which are very nice touches. I only put in one of the seat patches as I decided the bus was not as heavily used as a normal one. ;-)
I plan on adding some minifigs to hang out in the bus shortly.
All in all, a very fun build, now I need to get Tower Bridge so I can park it nearby. And someone convince LEGO to make a larger Buckingham Palace. Then I can have a larger London set than the architecture set."
