Hack Attack
" This set was the smallest set (not including polybags) to come out in the rebooted line. Pros: spinning saw blade in the front; only way to get Cole's green technoblade; Cole's new torso printing

"Welcome To The Future"
" This set was the first one that I bought from the lego ninjago line. The mechdragon is a large dragon which I think is nicely colored and has a neat and posable brick-build head. There is a lot of articulation with the legs, and the head, but not as much with the wings. Because the wings do not fold in like ultra dragon or the titanium dragon I found that this set was hard to store/display. Even though the wings were a slight problem for me, there were plenty of other features that were done well such as the prison in the front of the dragon. Unless you know that the hidden prison is a feature then you probably wouldn't notice it. There are also two gliders for the nindroids in the back and a long movable tail. On the ninja's side there is a car which Lloyd and Sensei Garmadon borrowed from Nya's Samurai X cave. There is a seat for Lloyd (that rotates a full 360 degrees) and a place for Garmadon to comfortably sit as well. In the front, two flick missiles are hidden and can be launched from the rear engines. If you are into the rebooted sets then this one would be good for you but otherwise if you want a dragon I would recommend the epic dragon battle! (Epic dragon battle v.s. the mechdragon is a great battle).

Master Chen V.S. Skylor
" The condrai copter attack was the first set that I purchased when the tournament of elements sets came out. The minifigures are one of the main draws to the set because it includes an exclusive Eyezor and Skylor. Master Chen is also included but without his staff and cape. The front of the copter features a snake style head (like the ones in 2012) and the mouth shoots out a net. The distance is not very far but it is still unique and tries something new. Farther back in the cockpit area, there is seating for two minifigures and posable wings. The back of the copter is fairly long and can be used as a handle. (I found that this set was a good match for the boulder blaster set). Skylor has a red hover-board to take on this vehicle. I think that the condrai copter has some nice features like the net, double seating, and the minifigure assortment and would make a nice gift.

Look Out Anacondrai Warriors!
" I found that the lego ninjago boulder blaster was a fun set and had a new feel to it. I purchased this set after the anacondrai copter and they compliment each other nicely. Cole can be seated in the cockpit area which holds 1 regular sized minifigure. In the back there is a handle that allows you to maneuver the aircraft through tight turns or what ever else Chen and his island throw at it. The most defining feature that sets the boulder blaster out from all the other planes/vehicles in this series would be the rotating barrel containing 8 spring loaded projectiles. (According to the T.V. series, Carloff and the other elemental masters assemble it out of noodle machine parts and use the roto-jet's firepower to break out of the factory). The play value is high for this set but although there is a whole bunch of spring loaded projectiles in the front I prefer to occasionally use them and use my imagination instead. The only problem I had with this set (which is minor) was that my thumb could not comfortably rest on and spin the gear that rotates the barrel but otherwise I am happy with this set. So, if you are willing to pick up the 8 missiles, enjoy a new build/look, and want a fun addition to your collection, the boulder blaster is the set for you!
