"I think that the X-1 Ninja Charger is one of the best rebooted sets. For starters, there are 2 nindroids and a nindroid probe. One of the nindroids is riding a jetpack and the other is riding some sort of a saw aircraft. Both were well designed. The X-1 itself is loaded with features like a splitting vehicle function. You can lift the hood and bush the button in the back to deploy Kai on his bike. The bike is similar to Lloyd's from "Overborg Attack" but is slightly sleeker. To the sides of the car there are flick missiles that can be pulled in and out and in the back there are spring loaded projectiles. The engine piece can be pulled up and be rotated a full 360 degrees. I think this feature is cool but it's a little weird to be seeing a rotating engine. I really liked this set and would recommend it to any lego ninjago fan!"
"This is a what you see is what you get kinda set. Basically, this is centered on the mech that Kai gets from Nya on the Island of Darkness when the ninja are on their way to the Temple of Light. The mech has a lot of articulation and comes with the elemental sword of fire and the elemental robes for Kai. A stone scout is also included in the set. For its price point I would say it's a good set but not necessarily one of my favorites."
"This set is AWESOME! I am usually a bit hard to impress but this set was fantastic! The dragon itself is really cool because it has the 4 heads, 2 shooters, a saddle to hold a minifigure, and a flapping wing function. There is a handle in the back that allows you to grab the dragon, maneuver it, and make its wings flap. In the front there is a saddle which can hold Lloyd and then there are a few other places where you can place minifigures. In the back there is a long tail that swings freely. In the beginning, the tail fell off fairly constantly which was quite annoying but then I went to my extra piece bin and decided to fix it. The tail has not fallen off since! The dragon has literally no flaws with the exception of the fairly fixable tail. Over on the serpentine's side there is a prison and the great devourer. The great devourer is OK. It is a little small for what the TV show presents but a nice inclusion. The snake has had quite a few face-plants though because of the way it's built. The prison is pretty neat. Venom pours from snake heads and there are 2 holding cells for the ninja-one big and one small. You can dump venom on the ninja's heads if they are in the front cell and the bridge can be raised. The minifigures for this set are also awesome! We get Garmadon, 2 serpentine generals, Wu, Lloyd, etc. I would recommend this set to any lego fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"I thought that this set was very cool because of it's size and the animal it's based on. The head of the mammoth stomper is very well done and so is the hidden detachable flyer. The legs are very long but the bases are a little flimsy because there are ball joints connecting them to the legs. The body of the mammoth is actually quite small and cramped for the minifigures-especially the vultures. To have better access you can open the skeletal ribcage and the side rotors of the mammoth flyer. In the back, the tail opens up and there is a prison with an ice piece to capture members of the fire alliance. For Worriz, there is a little snow speeder and that concludes the set. The minifigures are awesome!!!!!! I love the mammoths!!! I would recommend this set!"
"In a word: cool, literally. This set is zoomed in on the sabertooth tribe from the hunters and is a great set. The head is nicely done (from the front) and looks very menacing, but when you turn it to the side it looks a little bit like a giant-toothed rodent. The mouth opens and above the head, Sir Fangar can control the vehicle with handlebars. Behind Sir Fangar is the blue chi and behind that is an escape bike. I think the bike is an awesome feature! There are some gears to the side of it that lower the platform that the bike is sitting on which easily allows it to detach from the walker with a minifig riding it. The walker has 4 legs and can stand on 2. It also has shoulder pads that have flick missiles. As an accessory, there is a base plate with an ice piece on top. Nothing much but the ice pieces are really cool. The minifigs are very nice for this set: Sir Fangar (exclusive signature weapon); Stealthor (cool weapon); Gorzan (huge weapon!). I would recommend this set!"
"There isn't much to say about this set because what you see is what you get :). In my opinion it is a good set to have because it comes with the new, cool ice bears which are not featured in many sets (at the moment). There is a disc shooter which has what appear to be roughly cut wheels (that work on bumpy surfaces only), and the shooter is designed to look like an ice bear. The banner is REALLY cool and I think that it is the best banner out of all the tribe packs. The minifigs are nice and so are there weapons. I would recommend this set to a chima fan"
"Icebite's claw driller is a great set which was a nice inclusion and change of style for the hunter tribe. The set is mainly centered on the ice bear tribe and their gigantic mech. The mech has a hole in the center where Icebite can control it and there is an escape bike on the back that either of the 2 ice bears minifigures can use. The claw driller has a drill on its right arm, a hand on its left arm, and a rubber band in the back which will make the bear center on its 360 degrees rotating body. I thought that the head looked very nice and loved the included printed piece. All in all, the claw driller was a very impressive looking model. On the fire tribes side, Bulkar (the bear) gets a little but well designed vehicle. I was very, very happy that Bulkar was included in the set! Razar was also included in this set with his exclusive fire wing harness. I thought that it was weird that Razar was in this set because it seemed so zoomed in on the bear tribes but the fire wing harness is included so I suppose its fine. I would recommend this set!"
"The ewok village was a great set that had multiple uses. (I am not a star wars fan and bought this for a different theme). The build was sort of challenging, mostly because of the brown bricks but a ton of features were included! These include 360 degree rotating tree tops, smashing logs, weapon storage, and many other great inclusions. (The minifigures were great too). I had hours of fun with this set and would recommend it to any lego fan!"
""Enter the serpent" is yet another good set from the lego ninjago line. I thought that it looked a little small for what the box art presents, however some great things (or sets) come in small packages. If the ninja are in front of this building, Chen has set up missiles to launch (hidden feature which I love), venom bombs deploy from the mouth, and of course there is a trap door. The set also includes some sort of treasure, a map, a weapons rack, and what appears to be a game board. Moving on from the main structure there is a bone bridge and a nicely sized prison with bone doors. You can keep this assembly attached or separate, it looks fine either way. The minifigures for this set include: Master Chen (who has a cape and his staff of elements), Kapau'rai (exclusive), Zugu (an anacondrai general), Lloyd (the green ninja), and Jay (the blue ninja). I was satisfied with this set and I would recommend "enter the serpent" to any ninjago fan!"
"The temple of light is the largest set of the stone army line and features not only a temple, but also a large golden mech for the golden ninja. The golden mech is a nice inclusion to the set but I feel is a little to large and unsteady. In terms of height and size in general, the mech is larger than the temple. Moving on to the temple, it features opening and closing sides that can be put on an angle. There is also a gong (I haven't seen any of those in any of our previous sets), a weapons rack, a plant, a trapdoor, all of the elemental blades, and room for the mech to stand inside. Because I have other temples out of the ninjago line I usually use this set as a dojo or as an addition to a larger set. (The lineup of minifigures is nice as well). So my overall rating would be 4 stars because the temple can have multiple uses, includes a golden mech, and is a fairly cheap way to get a temple from ninjago."
