Too expensive.
" Drop the price by two dollars and I'd be more impressed. Also, 'Santa' should have either 'green mittens', or 'white gloves', not 'bare hands'.

'Cool' concept
" As with the original 'LEGO brick' ice cube tray, I think this was a great idea.
A little expensive but, something that I'm not as offended by as I am the 1x1 salf and pepper shakers.
Worth picking up, even if just for the 'novelty' aspect. "

Decent flick
" A very enjoyable little movie. About my only real complaint was how it was used mostly as one long commercial for sets that were available at the time. I would have enjoyed it much more if there had been more 'LEGO creativity' shown and fewer 'LEGO sets'. I realize that LEGO is trying to push its products but, anyone who is going to buy this movie is probably a LEGO fan ANYWAY.
One thing that would have been nice to have: in the 'extras', it would have been nice to have more of the LEGO movies included, such as "Revenge of the Brick", etc.
Perhaps this could be done on a later release? Or maybe compile those, and the half-hour programs (such as 'Atlantis') on to one DVD? "

When the pirate followed his treasure map to this tropical island, he didn't expect to find a shipwrecked castaway guarding the secret caveor a soldier with a launching cannon hot on his heels! Who will get to keep the treasure of Loot Island? Fire the catapult, but look out - it's not treasure that the hungry crocodile is after! Role play looking for the hidden treasure in the skull cave, use the treasure map or fire the cannon and catapult! Includes pirate, castaway, soldier, crocodile and other treasure island accessories! Cool 'island'
" First off, I just love the base for this island. Quite different from the usual 'plates'.
Secondly, I'm thrilled about the dark-green 'gator.

LEGO Pirates - Cannon Battle
The pirate has found a treasure map, but the soldier wants it too! BOOM! The firing cannon blasts the wall to pieces. Will the soldier get the map, or does the pirate have a tricky plan to escape? Includes soldier, pirate, treasure map, sword and musket! Fire the pull-action cannon and blast the break-away wall to pieces! Rebuild and fire again!

Mixed feelings.
" These road plates are in keeping with the colour scheme of the base plates for most of the new modular buildings, etc.
That's good. I think.
I'm unsure, simply because, part of me really misses the old 'grey road, green grass' style of plates. These new road plates feel just a bit TOO 'urban' for my liking.
Also, the MAJOR drawback for me, is the fact that the 2-pack is now a MIXED pack. I prefer to get two of the SAME plate in a pack. This way of packaging the road plates makes it much more difficult to get what you want and it will most likely end up costing you a lot more, because you'll have to buy multiple packs to get the number of plates that you need.
Its good for LEGO but, not good for LEGO collectors. "

" Okay, yes, this is a decent 'firetruck' set and thus, a worthwhile addition to your LEGO fire department...but, I have ONE question: who designed that crazy trailer?
What went through the designer's mind? "Oh, the trailer looks a little bare. What can we do? OH! I know! Let's stick a BOAT on top of it!"
Bizarre.
Other than that, totally cool and worth the purchase. "

A good deal.
" Was hesitating on purchasing this set, because I wasn't really certain that I wanted it...or, more precisely, I wasn't sure if I was willing to pay $40 for it. Then LEGO put it on sale for 50% off. That made up my mind rather quickly.
Surprisingly, I'm glad I picked it up. It's a decent little construction set. Quick and easy to build and it looks pretty good when it's assembled.
If you're not sure you want it, make up your mind quickly. At this price, I'm sure it's going to disappear. "
