Nice Set, Annoying to Build
" Very cool set that mimics the scene from the Empire Strikes Back very well. The Wampa is a long-needed addition to the pantheon of LEGO Star Wars creatures.
The ice cave itself can hang Luke from the ceiling and has a place to hide his lightsaber (from whence he can summon it with the force). The instructions make it look like you can launch the lightsaber, but you cannot. A large skeleton spine and a LEGO skeleton figure are present.
The cave is a bit obnoxious to build, and it isn't until you get it completely put together that it feels stable. Be prepared to crush the whole thing when putting on the roof, causing you to have to rebuild. Use a hard surface like a table to build this set. Just be careful; as soon as it is all together it holds up fine and looks great.
The Wampa can hold a standard accessory in its right hand (such as the chicken leg this set comes with) and can hold a minifigure (such as Luke) in his left hand. It's arms swivel.
This set also comes with a random snowspeeder and Zev Senesca. No clue why they put a snowspeeder in this set, but you can't have too many snowspeeders, right? "

One of the Coolest LEGO Space Ships Ever
" The Lunar Limo is surprisingly long, surprisingly light, and probably the largest swooshable spacecraft LEGO has ever produced.
The entire craft is a sleek black behemoth, longer in length than Space Police Central, easily holdable and perfectly suited for being held and flow around the room. The black bricks and transparent yellow windows are an excellent nod to the original Blacktron series.
This set oozes style and feels exactly like a gangster's space Cadillac. Gold pieces top off the look, especially the gold engine up front.
The build strength of the set is average. The front fins and back tail fins and license plate are a bit flimsy, but everything else holds together tightly. Not too many stickers here, though some are difficult to put on.
An amazing amount of detail was put into this craft without a need for many stickers. The cockpit is huge, able to fit Jawson as well as Brick Daddy on his tiny escape gunship. Despite being so tiny, the escape gunship is pretty cool. You'll also find that the hidden cannon blends in very well with the ship. The trunk is a cool detail too, though does not actually close when the space police commando is inside it, as the box art suggests.
Jawson fits the bill as the thug-like driver very well and Brick Daddy is one of the most notable minifigures ever with his purple suit and fedora and his glow-in-the-dark skull-like head, which is shorter than the normal minifig heads, giving him a more sinister look.
When all is said, the ship looks fantastic and is extremely playable. This is quite possibly the single most can't-miss LEGO set this year. "

Excellent Playset and Headquarters
" This surprisingly large set has a lot of diversity and will greatly enhance any Space Police collection. Children will have a blast with this, and will likely want to play with the set close to eye level to see into the buildings.
While the box and artwork kind of make this set look smaller, there really is quite a lot to see and do. The lounge, control room/weapons storage/evidence storage, and garage areas are very detailed and are surprisingly spacious when compared to most LEGO buildings.
There are some cool building techniques used to get the garage door/airlock to slide sideways. However the garage is my main (relatively minor) gripe with this set. the one wall, where the door slides when opening, is completely exposed and open. This would exit out into the shooting range, so I suppose they intended for everything behind the buildings to be 'indoors', but it makes the set feel slightly unfinished. A 4x10 and 6x10 plate would easily cover it up and make it a wall if it bothers you though.
Otherwise, the Garage area is pretty basic. Just some tools and an open space. The truck doesn't really fit too well in here, but going on the notion that everything behind the buildings is 'inside' it works just fine.
The Prison Pod Containment area is nice and features a fun rotating satellite dish. All Prison Pods from Space Police sets will work with this, so you can swap them around between the Galactic Enforcer, Hyperspeed Pursuit, and Max Security Transport. Behind the prison pods is the shooting range, which is a nice little detail.
The lounge and control room are where the bulk of the detail lay. There's a coffee machine, chairs, a table, and wanted posters in the lounge that make it feel like a [space] police precinct lounge. Above it are launch pads for the two little police speeders in this set.
The control room features a host of weapon storage areas complete with said weapons as well as evidence storage and a cage for the 'Sniffer Frog'. I assume he sniffs out space drugs so the police can bust criminals. Computer terminals and screens complete the look inside, while smooth curved windows complete the outside look. There is a balcony here and some swiveling freeze ray guns as well.
The Space Police Prison Pod transport trunk is a nice robust vehicle with a large drivers seat area and storage compartments on the side. It's got nice rubber wheels so it rolls well on solid surfaces.
The Space Police speeders in the set are small, but they have a nice heft to them and are reasonably swooshable. Much better than many similar small crafts that came with space series bases in the past.
The bad guy vehicle is largely just a body and a spring-loaded cannon, but it feels more substantial than most small bad guy aircraft in the Space Police series. This is probably due to the side jets with the flames coming out of them.
Build strength of this set is pretty good. Things don't really try to fall apart on you while building. Some of the garage building is a little feeble for a step or two, but most of that can be alleviated by building it on a table or hard floor rather than on carpet. The one side of the garage isn't very secured in the end, but it 's covered up well and isn't an issue.
For a set this size, there really aren't too many stickers to put on, which should be a relief. There's a lot of details created by bricks so the low sticker volume doesn't mean there's low detail.
Finally, the minifigures:
Craniac is exclusive to this set and is very cool. He's got a red 'skull twin' helmet, but the rest of him is new, including the creepy face with his insect like-maw of many teeth. The laser axe gun thing he's got is pretty rad as well.
Jawson is still a nice figure, though he's available in the three larger 2010 Space Police sets so he isn't as rare. His face is locked forward, but that just helps give him that thug look.
The two Space Police commandos are nice. We've finally got a Space Police Chief, with his grizzled face and pauldrons. He looks like he'd be tough. On crime. The other commando has a reversible face and a little soul patch on his chin. This set really feels like it should have had a third commando. With three vehicles and all that building space, it feels a bit understaffed. I guess if you play with all your sets together it'll feel more full though.
There's also a little brick-built robot guy.
Overall this is an excellent play set with lots to do that combines well with the other Space Police sets. "

Great Minifigure
" Very nice detail on the mantis warrior due to the head block painting and the rubbery headpiece that fits over it. And who wouldn't want a golden trident?
The background pieces are destined to be tossed in my LEGO bucket, but the figure is great.
If you collect space police, he makes a great additional villain to fill up any extra prison pod you have from the Galactic Enforcer or Space Police Central. "

Slicker Transformer
" This is a very nice addition to the Space Police line.
The build strength of this set is great! Nothing threatened to fall apart on me while building it. Fairly low amount of stickers for a Space Police set, so no massive sticker annoyance. It doesn't feel bland from lack of stickers either.
The transformation method is very very cool. Some interlocking pieces make the whole transformation occur with one movement, which is very innovative. The undercover mode looks like a nice, hefty trade ship, while the cruiser mode (the one shown on the front of the box) looks like a powerful Juggernaut.
Set is larger than you'd expect, which is nice. MSRP value is about right. Flick-fire missiles on the Space Police Ship are kinda hard to use.
Bad guy ship is very swooshable. Jawson is a really cool-looking new villain with a unique head piece. "

So Good.. It's Walky!
" Lego Town/City has always featured small little cars like this, but this one has a surprising amount of detail. It is very reminiscent of the "Smart Car" which has appeared in recent years. You'll find that it is very fun to zoom this car around on your Lego streets.
For collectors, the minifigure features a new hoodie (hooded sweatshirt) torso, which is pretty nice. He comes with a briefcase, making him seem like an important guy, driving around in his Lego "Smart Car."
Additionally, with the hoodie, hairstyle, and facial expression, this figure bears a striking resemblance to the character Walky from the webcomic "It's Walky!" making this a must-buy for fans.
You'll find the price just about right for a car this size and a minifigure. It will make a great addition to your Lego city. "

Surprisingly Large
" This surprisingly large set is an excellent bad-guy ship for your Space Police series collection.
There are a lots of little cool details on this craft. The jets and engines have a lot of detail with the pieces. The whole front of the ship screams, "I'm dangerous!" with the spikes on the front bumper and the lasers from the front engines. Little things like headlights, side-view mirrors and smoke stacks complete the "space truck" look. There are also two large, front-side lasers.
One of the coolest parts of the ship is the rear crate, which opens up to reveal the stolen space police laser. The laser rests on a lift that can raise it up, and a swivel which can spin it around. The lift control decal in the crate add to the appearance. One downside is that the halves of the crate like to flop open as you fly the ship around. Simply use the grate tiles on top, turned sideways across the two halves to keep it shut if needed.
One this that feels wrong about the ship is its lack of floor in the crate. While I can't see how they would have done it easily, it does seem a bit odd to have a whole in the floor. If you pretend that the "crate" is just camouflage, then it works I guess. Snake's cockpit is also open in the back, though this is only noticeable when the crate is open, so it's not a big deal.
Lots of stickers in this provide great detail for the wings, front end, and crate. Unfortunately, a fair bit of them are in annoying locations (the side wings and recessed parts of the crate in particular). Adults should help younger children with these.
The minifigures aren't anything to write home about. Snake looks cool but is quite common in Space Police sets and the officer (with flick-fire missile launcher) has a pretty generic face.
Finally, this ship is much larger than pictures make it out to be. It is a great value for the money and an excellent play set. While it isn't very swooshable, the giant laser is remarkably fun to play with. This is a great buy. If you were hesitant to purchase it before, you should definitely reconsider. "

Purple Smash!
" This is a very sturdy set with some nice features and rare pieces, such as anything purple, the new 1 x 3 tiles, and the Squidtron minifigure.
Build strength for this set is good. Pretty much nothing will try to fall apart as you build it. I've seen a lot of complaints that the front bumper isn't held on well, but I had no difficulties with it falling apart (unless you grab the bumper and swing the ship widly in the air, which is just never safe playing).
For a Space Police series 'bad guy' ship there are relatively few stickers, none of them oddly-shaped, making it fairly easy to apply them. They complement the vehicle and space ATM very well.
Aesthetically, the purple and yellow make a nice color scheme for this space truck. I like the yellow transparent windshield; it really hearkens back to the old space LEGO days. The vehicle looks like you'd expect a space truck should look.
This set should be pretty fun to play with. The crane on the truck is fairly versatile, though it doesn't have a long reach. It is enough to hook onto the asteroid ATM machine and lift it off the ground, so that is all that is needed. The front of the ship hides two flick-fire missiles, which are flired by flicking two rams that extend to the back of the vehicle. The round balls on the end of the rams really make the missile easy and comfortable to fire when compared to earlier sets. Love 'em or hate 'em, these flick-fire missiles were very well implemented.
The ATM itself is kinda silly looking, but overall it has a nice look about it.
As far as minifigures go, Squidtron is quite nice looking despite being a recolor of Squidman. The color scheme for his face goes well with its shape. He looks especially nice when viewed through the trans-yellow windshield. He fits a bit snug in the cockpit, but it's not hard to fit him in.
The Space Police commando is nice. It would be nice if he had a small ship though as he feels like a last-minute thrown-in. I like the new full helmet, even though the red visor snaps completely in and cannot swing up. The spare visor in the set makes this set a good source of extra red visors.
For part collectors, the rare purple pieces and new 1 x 3 tiles (stone gray) alone make this set worth buying.
All in all, it's a very fun, medium-sized set that fits well in the space police series. In a series with relatively few bad-guy ships, it's refreshing to see a new one. "

Contains One LEGO Tauntaun
" With this set you can continue to recreate the battle of Hoth from the Empire Strikes back. This set is loaded with cool little features, from the ledge that can be pushed down to launch the rebels into the air, the snowtroopers' large stand cannon, dual flick-fire missiles, and finally a LEGO Tauntaun.
The large cannon stand for the snowtrooper is nicely detailed. One or both rebel soldiers can stand on a ledge behind the wall. You can press down on this ledge to fling both soldiers in the air, as if hit by the large snowtrooper cannon. But fear not. You can retaliate with a single flick on the tower, which will launch not just one, but both flick-fire missiles. This is perhaps the best use and functionality I've seen in LEGO's flick-fire missile craze. The swiveling gun tower also features a swing-out compartment that a minifigure can hide in.
Perhaps the best inclusion in this set is Han's Tauntaun, long missing from the LEGO Star Wars line and a very memorable part of the movie.
The cost per piece of this set is fairly high, but the large number of minifigures (five), plus the exclusive Tauntaun make it worth every penny. There is a lot of play action packed into a relatively small-sized amount of space, making this one of the best LEGO playsets there is. "

Best LEGO Starship Ever?
" This massive Space Police starship is one of the coolest LEGO space flagships ever made.
The build for this ship in very sturdy with very little repetition. The four prison pods and the two rear space pods at the end of construction get a bit repetitious and tedious, but before that, you'll have a smooth, interesting build. The technic frame of the ship is very robust.
This ship is very large, must larger than expected. It really gives the impression that it should be feared by all the criminals in the galaxy. It is also rather heavy for a LEGO set. Younger children (or wimpy adults ;)) make have a little trouble playing with it if they want to hold it and fly it around the room.
This set has a fair number of stickers, but not an excessive amount given its size.
The enemy ship is small, but very nice looking. The technic cannon is integrated nicely into the body of the ship, and the stickers for the wings (a total of 8 of them!) really improve the look of it. It also has a chain that is meant to attach to the LEGO astronaut statue so that the bad guys can steal it.
The enemy ship is very swooshable and both Kranxx and Slizer look good in it without feeling out of place.
The Galactic Enforcer itself embraces the idea of modularity, splitting into several smaller pieces.
The front part of the ship with the large cockpit can detach. By itself it is a pretty nice ship, with a large front blue transparent windshield and lots of weaponry. Another nice touch is the small droid behind the pilot, reminiscent of Robby the Robot.
The front part can combine with the pods on the rear of the enforcer, either with one on each side, or one on the back. Putting one pod on the back of the front cockpit is my favorite subship configuration. It looks very cool that way.
The two pods on the rear wings can detach to form two small pursuit pods or, as mentioned above, combine singularly or together with the front part of the ship. They use some pre-formed pieces to build their curvy sides, which gives them a nice smooth look, but kinda feels like a construction cop-out. They also don't stand up on their own when detached from the ship. It is also fairly hard to attach the pilots' hand to the pod handlebars and sit the pilot down without pulling the handlebars. This is easily remedied by just not physically attaching the pilots' hands to them. It sounds like I'm being hard on the pods, but really they are a very nice addition. The jets on the back of them make them look powerfully fast and the "place foot here" text on the wings' stickers is a nice touch.
The main body of the ship is very nicely detailed. The center portion swings up to reveal the inside of the ship, a very detailed command center with lots of accessories. A piece on the swinging portion holds the two air tanks in place so they don't become loose when it is closed and flown upside-down. A very nice touch. There are monitors and a swiveling chair and a second cockpit in this portion (for when the front part is off on its own, I guess!).
The rear of the main body holds a small land rover. that exits via a door/ramp in the back. Because of the way LEGO does hinges anymore, the closed door ramp will have a small gap at the bottom which isn't really that noticeable, but which is kinda silly in a supposedly sealed spacecraft.
The side wings of the main body feature quad-lasers on a swivel ball join, which lets you aim them independently in many many directions. This is one of the best features of the ship.
The prison pods here are interchangeable with the one in Hyperspeed Pursuit, which is very cool. As usually, they don't burst open as dramatically as the box art depicts, but are very fun nonetheless. I was worried that they would look bad sticking out of the side of the craft, but they really look pretty nice, especially when the front part of the ship is attached. You may want to purchase some additional bad guys for the other pods (The small Manta Warrior set from the Atlantis series would be a neat choice!) just to fill them all up.
This set has a great selection of minifigures. All three Space Police Figures are unique to this set (at least, no other Space Police figures have their faces), including the only female Space Police figure.
The statue of the original LEGO astronaut is very cool as well, with little cracks in his torso and a nice little Latin phrase on his base (a sticker, of course). It would have been nice if they used the original-style LEGO helmet, but that's just a minor gripe.
Kranxx is fairly available, but he's a neat-looking space biker. Slizer is the real bad guy gem here, since he is only available in this set and the hard-to-find Maximum Security Transport. His ugly, green orc face goes well with his spikey helmet.
All in all this massive starship is very fun to play with, featuring a lot of very cool details. Is is quite possibly the best starship LEGO has ever made. "
