Not bad! Load up!
" Nice articulation via ball-joints. Seven extra pieces (1x1s). Nice playability. The three-ball-joint gives an extra added playability to place the wings. The cockpit has 3 stages of up and down movement, not bad. This is a very nice $5 set. Buy this for the pieces it can add up to build. You get ball joints, some tiles... My only gripe is the back portion (which never gets photographed in Lego sets!, Why!) in that the "racket", while nicely "placed", does nothing to hold the back portion of the tail-end. I find that it falls off very quickly from just holding it wrong/is there a wrong way to hold a toy? Overall very nice, very nice. "

Should've been double the size
" Pros:
Two useful base plates, some "telescopes"
Cool micro-build
Mini-raptor
You're a JP fan
Cons:
No counterpart piece to the water fountain. Now it's a half-piece in my collection.
No water pieces (Translucent-Blue 4073 or other) for the water fountain - bark all you want, this raptor will never drink and will dehydrate!
Why didn't Lego photograph this set from the "front" side, only from the "interior"?
Not enough extra pieces to extend the set.
Raptor is very difficult to play with while entering the pen, even while holding the tail.
Builders are forced to buy a second set to actually enclose the pen. I suppose that unintentionally adds to the story of overpopulation in the pens. But, there's no "end" to this build, which is actually a negative in this case. Maybe this set should have had more pieces to enclose the pen geometrically and bring it to a slightly higher price point. The pen doesn't even have a door that closes. Seems less-than-half-built. I suppose this build is relegated to be against a wall forever! So where are the other compounds?
Chicken/turkey drumstick: How is one supposed to acquire a complete chicken, without buying the Food Accessories? Extra drumsticks flying around! And these extra ones are only "displayable" on one side/plane.

Thank you, Lego!
" I was skeptical of this set, but what a joy!
This idea really speaks to my personal sense of humor. I like it when a complete set makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face. Everything about the set is smooth, and Lego gives us some extra pieces that are useful. The dog is sturdy and stands up just fine. I'm going to buy extras to give away as gifts because this set is so positive. It would've been awesome if this set came with a croissant piece or a yellow baseplate, EWW! LOL

Good, BUT!
" Pros: Good facial expressions on both MFs. Both are double-printed.
Lioness piece is CUTE! With the head in the upright position it looks very curious, like all cats should!
The vehicle is nice and substantial (nice weight in the hand - HEFTY, considering). For the amount of pieces you get, it's good. (Make a deal with Jeep! The ultimate blocky-car with a dedicated fan-base, d-uh!)
Cool tree-costume piece! Can be used as a costume or as a tree with a giant hole for woodpeckers or maple syrup pails, etc.
Cons: It's missing one very obvious piece (might be contrary to Lego philosophy, but is still contrary to natural selection and my religion) plus the vehicle needs slightly bigger rear compartment to carry the lioness.
Lioness: Doesn't fit in the back of the vehicle. Maybe the MFs are vets and want to sedate the animal to bring back to their clinic.
Bird: The marbling (blue and yellow swirling) is hit-or-miss. I got a crappy one without any interesting color swirling. This will be one of those old bite-y parrots that never gets bought at the pet store and squawks obscenities like a sailor.
Missing an armed Safari guide !!! The whole point of safaris is to generate tourist dollars in order to hire safari wardens to guard against poachers who hunt for stupid reason. That money hires veterinarians and conservationists to help the animals in their hostile environment. The tourism helps those areas generate funds that otherwise would not come to them, even with their rich natural resources in the ground.
My biggest gripe with this set (see the 30 minute build-time), and probably Lego as a whole right now, is a very simple fix, in my opinion. The building instructions show the wrong color when showing grey pieces. This problem doesn't go away in the digital format, although the printed format is much, much worse, to the point of frustration of thinking that several pieces would be missing. The problem comes with grey pieces. They look totally black. I'm not color-blind. I have /better/ than 20/20 vision from laser surgery, I'm younger than 35; I'm a jeweller (I set microscopic diamonds into gold, and I have amazing lighting fixtures). This is a pretty big overall problem with a pretty easy fix. I almost put in an email about missing pieces. I had to skip ahead, putting aside the pieces needed per page until I could find that one black piece I needed, only to realize later it was LIGHT GREY. I see this complaint with a lot of Lego products. Such an easy fix. "

Nice colour palette!
" I got this set because I wanted something different to add to my world. Plus I really wanted that saw assembly, as it has multiple uses. This set has some nice colour offerings, and just the perfect amount of them. The mini-figure has such a stern look on his face (good addition!). The blue toque is adorable. The printed gear on the mini-figure is top-notch. A set of ATV-style wheels is included. The rest of the set is pretty lackluster. For example, if this is an Arctic theme, why is there a huge gap in the vehicle for Arctic wind to pierce through? The ice structure doesn't "break" as easily as I thought; it takes a bit of digital effort. Also, a minor point, besides just attaching the "insect piece" to the back of the vehicle via stud, there is no place to house this "delicate" object which might break b/c it's surrounded in ice. The two transparent pieces get lost in the dark blue, so they don't show up visually right away. Overall, a nice little set which will be put to good custom use, but the Road Worker set is a 5-Star compared to this. When will Lego make an Iditarod race theme with dog-driven sleds? Parkas, huskies, and hot chocolate! "

Great product!
" This baseplate is what I grew up with. Note that the bottom is flat and cannot build on top of other studs. I really don't mind how flexible it is because you're not building with it, just on top of it. This piece is ESSENTIAL for all Lego builders. And you can never get enough.
BUT: Lego, please offer 2-packs (Blue and Green, White and Grey), and lower the price of the grey piece. Also I'm a fan of the Road baseplates but not the offering or the price. Listen to your customers and offer 2-packs of 2 straight, 2 curved, 2 T, and 2 4-way intersections. You have to understand that when you place two crosswalks beside each other they look stupid. Take a piece of paper and cut little squares then sketch out the current offerings to make a 6 to 8 baseplate design. It's crazy-expensive to buy them in these offerings and still make your city look organised. OR, do a 3-pack with 2 straight and 1 single 4-way, or do a 4-pack with 4 curves. Please play around with the offerings and tell me it's fair for Lego fans because I'll tell you, it'$ not. The occasional T-intersection is perfect for a firehall or a hospital, but having too many makes for a janky looking city and I refuse to buy the roads for this reason. Also they don't have enough studs on them to make them the same price as the regular baseplates. Add some connector pieces (A bench, anything) to increase the value and make some Lego fans happy. For a decorative piece (road vs 32x32 stud baseplate) it's not worth the money, but the baseplates could come in 2-packs and take off a dollar or two; you'll sell more of these.
