"Even though I wanted the Captain Marvel minifigure, I didn't intend to get his set because the vehicle looks boxy and I have more variations of Iron Man and Captain America that I know what to do with. I got the set for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised.
The build of the ship was fun. There are many internal (probably unnecessary) design elements that can't be seen from the outside of the ship that make for many interesting pieces to use in MOC building. The ship is sturdy and can be held by the adjustable missile launchers on its belly. It looks much better in real life than in photos.
I don't like that the Thanos figure is hunched over and looking down."
"The minifigs are nice to add to my collection, but the truck wasn't particularly fun to build or play with. Also, way too many stickers, which I hate applying and never age well.
While I enjoyed getting the updated Falcon wings, outfit, and head, the hair piece is odd for the Falcon. I like the Black Widow minifig--particularly the hair and the leg printing. The Crossbones figure looks like something left over from a Scooby Doo set."
"I'd highly recommend getting this self for yourself, and some extra copies for gifts.
The minifigures are cartoonish and playful. The vehicles are cleverly designed and have interesting parts. I like the idea of putting pivots on top of the one piece chassis and using them in combination as part of a larger suspension.
I've wanted a Flash minifig for years, but am so tired of the same old iterations of "bat" vehicles they've typically been included with. I'm glad I got an opportunity to get Flash with something different."
"I bought this set because it has new (to me) 1x1 curved top (tombstone) tiles. I love these, and am hoping to collect more to use as architectural elements. I'm also happy to get all the curvy yellow pieces to use in MOCs.
With the continued releases of Mixels sets, I assume they are profitable for The LEGO Company. I would love it if they cast the ball and socket connectors in colors that match the model rather than always making them black and grey so the parts would be more useful in a variety of MOCs. I like the other unique parts included in many Mixels sets, but have more of the black and gray ball connectors than I could possibly use."
"I bought this set because it has interesting brown and gold pieces I can use in pirate MOC builds. What I didn't realize is it has new (to me) 1x1 curved top (tombstone) tiles. I love these, and am hoping to collect more to use as architectural elements."
"I'd highly recommend this as a gift or stocking stuffer because is a great set with many interesting pieces for a low price.
I enjoyed building both the bulldozer/backhoe model and the dump truck model. The fork truck model wasn't as fun, but not every model can be a home run."
"This level pack has an incredible amount of content. I usually wait until after I complete the level before I submit a review, but this one is long and challenging enough that I don't know if I'll be able to complete it. I saved and exited, but was sent back to the beginning when I restarted the level. I'm finding some of the games to be confusing/difficult and have REALLY touchy controls.
I haven't done a proper count, but it seems like there are at least two dozen retro games to find and play. If you like that sort of thing, then I highly recommend this level pack.
The playable character has a great/flexible ability set, and is a good value by himself.
I LOVE the SpyHunter vehicle design in this set. This is one of the few Dimensions vehicles where it looks great in all three builds. This vehicle is now my default for ground/car races throughout the adventure words. It is fast, handles well and I've won races with it that I had be trying for months with other vehicles. The airplane version looks great, but doesn't fly as well as some other airplanes.
The console gadget does what it does well. I like the first build, but the other two are stretches. I modified the first build so it will fit better in my fishing tackle storage boxes."
"IF you're a fan of Superman, I'd recommend this set. Superman has a good ability set and fun dialog. The minifigure is well done, but can be found in many other sets.
The first iteration of the vehicle was fun to build, the other two not so much. I reverted back to the first build. I tried the vehicle for races, but it is slow compared to many of the other flying vehicles.
If you have to choose, I'd recommend Wonder Woman over Superman, she has many more abilities and a faster vehicle. In the second build, her vehicle can shoot lasers, which is the only ability that Superman has that Wonder Woman doesn't."
"I love the character Gimili and the minifigure is very well done.
With only two abilities that several other characters have, Gimili is not particularly useful in the game. I also didn't find his vehicle enjoyable to build, nor do I use it in the game.
If you love Gimili, then I would encourage you to get this set. If not, I would instead recommend getting Bart or Slimer if you're looking for the Mini Hatch ability."
