"I bought this as I loved the clown and thought it'd be fun to have in my collection.
The design is very simple and easy to put together. The white base place has a sticker that the Lego base plate sticks to. The arch also is designed as a sticker and is applied to the white base plate.
I love that the kid min fig is customizable: hair, sticker for middle of shirt. The arch stickers are personalized as well.
I do think that if you wanted to make this a table centerpiece, it's a bit too short to do so-it'd just blend in and get lost with anything else on the table. As a cake topper, it'd be perfect, though."
"I mainly bought this because I liked the mini fig and saw that it had a few unusual pieces to it-the microphone, the cap and gown.
The design is very simple and easy to put together. The white base place has a sticker that the Lego base plate sticks to. The arch also is designed as a sticker and is applied to the white base plate.
I like that you can personalize it-the kit comes with number stickers so you could actually buy it now and save it for next year if you chose to. Also, the mini fig has two heads, one with lipstick for women, one without for men.
I could see this being used on a graduation cake, but seems a bit small to be used for a table decoration-I think it's too short to really stand out as a centerpiece."
"I usually really enjoy these little seasonal mini-kits, but have to say this bunny is only so-so. Very easy build with some creative bits to making the bunny.
My favorite are the ears, followed by how they have you build the back and tail of the bunny, which is simple but very creative.
I like the carrot by itself, but when the bunny is holding it, the carrot is way too big. If placed straight up and down, it interferes (like 1/4th of an inch too long at the bottom) with how the bunny stands. The arms seem just a bit too short. Not a huge issue because the carrot is adjustable up and down, but seems like something that should have been noticed and fixed in creating it.
The body and head of the bunny are very sturdy, however the neck that connects them is not reinforced so it's easy to pull off during play/build.
Also, kit seems a bit lacking with nothing added for the bunny to interact with other than its over sized carrot. Last year's came with an Easter Basket and was really cute. This one is cute, but just not as interesting nor with as much play potential for kids."
"Just put these 3 animals together. I knew the cat would be my favorite, so I made it last so I could display it. All 3 took me about 2 hours to do, which does include sort and dismantle time for the dog and rabbit.
Pros: Super cute. Easy enough to build. Lots of unique pieces. Animals, when completed, feel pretty sturdy like they could hold up to serious play time (except maybe whiskers and tails).
Cons: All 3 are head heavy, so they like to tip forward easily. The rabbit is not easy to get standing by himself. The feet make it tipsy. The cat and dog have 4 points that they stand on, so they are more stable, yet, the rounded piece at the bottom of each foot isn't the best-wish they had chosen the flat piece to help stabilize those legos. Lots of little pieces. This kit only has a handful of pieces bigger than a 4x4 brick. Also, the cat's tail looks almost like a scorpion tail. It's a bit odd looking. Oh, and some of the pieces are REALLY hard to disconnect from each other-even with a lego separator helping-there is just nothing to grab at to separate the pieces-except your nails.
I know my list of cons is longer than the pros, however, I do really like the kit and am thinking about getting it for my niece for her birthday. Just think it has some room for improvement."
"I just got this in the mail today and took a closer look. I have to say I'm not that impressed. I collect the winter village scenes-have them all but the unofficial train-and I'm not sure this will fit in well.
I think the carousel is nice looking, but not sure what this has to do with winter or holidays or anything like that. It's going to look odd with the other parts of the village, quite frankly.
Finally, the biggest draw against it: No lighted brick. All the other sets have one. This does not. So, does that mean this was not intended to be part of the set? Somehow, I don't think so. Either someone forgot, or they were hoping we wouldn't notice. I find it a distinct lack in the set! If only one had one, that's fine, it was a one off-but having at least 4 sets with one and then deciding not to put one in? That's just being petty to the loyal customers who enjoy having a collection.
Here's hoping next year's is a LOT better and worth the big price tag!"
"This is a great little holiday scene. Very easy build-only 12 pieces to put together (the table). The rest are decorations. A lot of food in this one-the turkey, two wine bottles, the sausages and a carrot.
I wish they had found a way to have the turkey connect with the other Lego pieces as it slides around a lot, but that's my only criticism of the set and one I've had for a long time about the turkey! :)
"I just finished putting this together and was pleased at how the car turned out. There are a ton of details and like how they include the pieces to "upgrade" the car to from the first movie version to the 2nd and 3rd. Love the "invisible" bricks so it looks like the car really is floating.
There's only a couple cons, one being it's really hard to fit the mini figs inside the car. I managed it, but only after both doors and the roof fell off. Which leads me to the second con, the doors are only held on by one dot connection and if you tug a little too hard, it falls off and has to be put back on. Easy enough, but I wish it was a little sturdier when it's a moving section of the car.
Overall, it's a great little car and a fun replica of the DeLorean! (even if there is a misspelling!)"
"Bought this yesterday and it looks nice next to the other 2 seasons released. It's the same height as the spring tree as well, so you could pretend it's the fall version of the cherry tree.
It does have 3 mini figs, some mushrooms, and a wheelbarrow. Most of the leaves are loose on the ground for raking, which makes the scene a little messy but in a good way.
I'd say that you couldn't make a lot with this, but the "leaves" are great fall colors and a good addition to the seasons sets."
"I just bought this and had to put it together immediately. I think the coach has great details, tons of minifigs (5!) and has great play potential. The coach rocks a bit, there's an action part (where the luggage is stored) and the safe is very nice looking. The mini figs are unusual-love the peg leg on the woman. She and Tonto have unusual rubber hair/hats that are new for me and they look great!
Negatives: The stickers came crumpled up in the box. While the creases were removable in mine, some may be permanently creased. Also, for all that it's detailed, this is a very quick build. The difficulty is not great. There was one spot that was tricky and that is it. For some people, this may be a positive, but I like a little challenge with my Legos.
Also, you get one silver bar. The safe is small, but could fit four easily and the silver bar is tiny and would be easy to lose for children, so why not throw a couple in, just in case? My last critique concerns Tonto's bird hat and the hat on the woman. There's a little peg that sticks into the hair and it doesn't seem that sturdy. I know mine bent a little when trying to place it and I worried it'd break.
Overall, I do recommend and have a feeling this will be in a place of honor for a while in my collection."
"I just put this together and wanted to share my thoughts on the Marketplace.
Pros: The set is very detailed, lots of fun extras like apples, a brush, fish, cows, a horse, a keg... It has quite a few mini figs as well. Put together, the set looks really nice and is fun to look at and has a fair amount of play potential. The water wheel/forge is one of my favorite aspects. (When you move the wheel, the hammer to the forge moves!)
Cons: The bags are not numbered so you have to open and sort them all at once. The roof on the 2nd building (the house not the forge/stable) is very unstable. It collapsed on me three times and I've been putting Legos together since I was a kid and have made many complicated buildings/sets. Once put together, it does seem pretty sturdy, but putting it together was an exercise in patience.
Finally, the tree is very nice to look at. It's quite large and matches the size of the two buildings. However, the "leaves" fall off at the slightest touch. You put one on, two fall off if you're not careful. Love the idea of it, but the design was a bit lacking.
This is retired now, but if you're an expert builder it is well worth the hunt to find it. I can't see beginners or young children building this without a lot of help and patience!"
