" The set complements the police station very well and is definitely worth getting for that reason alone. It's reasonably priced and offers hours of playability again and again!
The truck has a nice design but there are a couple of minor issues. The first is that the driver seat in the cab is positioned right in the middle rather than off to one side so it looks a little strange in a six stud wide vehicle. You can't modify this and shift the seat as the build does not offer you the space to do so. The second is that once you put the police driver in, he's sitting up too high so that he can't see out of the window!! I ended up taking the seat out to bring him lower so he could at least see where he's going!!
The trailer has a very nice design and the stickers of maps etc are put to very good use here. I would have liked it however it they had a prison cage built in for the robber rather than having two storage spaces (one in front and one behind). The storage spaces are useful for keeping the handcuffs and the 2 yellow 4x2 bricks which are used to support the trailer when it's detached from the cab, but you don't really need 2 of them to do it where one would do.
The command center is a nice touch, but again, it has a quesitonable desgin as the stairs are on the same side as the barrier/gate which is supposed to be keeping intruders out. I have a little trouble placing this piece in my lego city.
The quad bike a very simple but a nice addition to the set. You get the usual stickers which is again frustrating, but overall, it's a set that is well worth getting, especially if you are a city collector. "

" This is a set that I'm not sure if I like or not - it's certainly different to your usual city sets. This camper has plenty of interior details - saucepan, portable cooker, TV, mugs etc. but all these things also make it very cramped inside. Also, with the design, the driver's sear is right in the middle rather than off to one side which looks funny on a six stud wide vehicle. Usually, the driver is positioned off to the left, but that isn't possible in this set due to the build. One good thing about it though is that it uses the old lego car doors which makes the camper more realistic and believable.
The set itself offers hours of fun for those willing to use their imaginations. The accessories that come with it along with the surfboard and bike really make the lego world come to life. However, there are two things that should be noted - firstly, the bike doesn't attach very well to the roof of the camper - it tends to come off way too easily. The second is that the palm tree sticker that you see on the front of the camper tends to peel off due to the curved nature of the lego piece that it's stuck onto. I just took mine off in the end.
It's an ok set - not a "must have" but if you have a few extra dollars somewhere, something that you might want to look into getting. "

" I bought 2 of these sets so that my Republic Gunship could actually have some clones in it..... it's a great set for building your clone army but I'm not sure about the walker than comes with it. I've never seen this in any of the movies/cartoons so not sure where the design came from.
The walker is a little awkward to be honest. It's not that stable and the gun in the front just looks completely out of place. The flick fire missles don't really work either because you end up knocking the walker over whenever you try to fire these things.
Overall, the walker is a disappointment - don't see much thought in it's design here. Buy this set only if you want to increase your clone count. Otherwise, you may be disappointed..... "

" This is a set that you should only consider buying for 3 reasons;
1. You are a lego city fan (like me) and this set would be a great addition to your city and complement other city sets well.
2. You need a minifig for your lego creator house as those sets don't come with minifigs.
3. You need a birthday/Christmas present for a kid 8yrs and under.
It's a nice set - simple build and a good look but let's face it, on it's own, there's not much you can do with it (it's only 1 car!!!). You'd get bored quickly if you didn't have other sets to add it too. I have to say though that it would be ideal as a small present to any kid young enough to appreciate it and not expect more.... "

" This is an enjoyable set to build but the bags inside are not numbered so finding the right pieces can take some time as different pieces for the same section will be in different bags. If you have the patience to get past this point, you will enjoy constructing this set. It does take some time due to the size of it, but the end result is definitely worth it.
There are a couple of weak/flimsy secitons with this set however. Firstly, the cockpits don't open very well on the hinge - they're actually more likely to detach from the hinge joint. Secondly, the plates used for the floor in the hull/rear section also tend to come apart too easily. There's not much to reinforce this area.
Also, the final product once built is quite heavy and difficult to play with due to it's size. It's a bulky ship, not at all sleek like the smaller fighters so you need to handle with care during play otherwise it will come apart easily. Having said all that, this is a very good set and an excellent addition to anyone's Lego collection.
It comes with a speeder bike which is very similar to that seen in Return of the Jedi - it's very believable and a nice addition to this set, especially as it sit's nicely in the hull of the Gunship. The space under the cockpits at the front contain a mobile command centre that's quite basic, but very handy if you let your imagination run wild. A third interesting aspect to this set is the introduction of the Bacta tank or healing chamber which sits between the front storage area and the rear. And just behind the cockpits, there's another compartment where a couple of spy droids are stored. These four things add significantly to the playability of the set.
The design is excellent, apart from the couple of weak areas already mentioned. However, there is one very big problem with this set, and that is the lack of minifigs. You get 2 Jedi Masters and Commander Cody which is great, but only 1 clone trooper for a GUNSHIP which is meant to be carrying alot of them, and NO clone pilot to fly this thing. Also, the addition of Ventress isn't really necessary - I would have preferred another Jedi or 2 more clone troopers than have her. If this set had a clone pilot and 2 more clone troopers, it would have been nearly flawless.
Still, it is one of the best lego has come up with, and definitely worth buying if you get the chance. This will be another of those classic spaceships that will be talked about for years to come..... "

" I don''t like to use the word perfect very often, but this is one of those times when I'm prepared to make an exception. This set IS perfect. I love the mechanism the designers used to open up the wings in particular.
The overall design of the fighter bears a very close resemblance to that X wing in the Star Wars films. Everything from the 4 engines, to the cockpit, to the guns, you can tell that a lot of thought as been put into it's overall design. It also comes with landing gear that retracts on take off, as well as a storage compartment under the cockpit for Luke's lightsaber. This X wing is also adaptable - Lego have given you the pieces so that you can customise this as either Luke's Red 5, or Wedge's Red 2. Perhaps the best thing about this set however is the minifigs. You get 5 in total, including some hard to get ones such as Chewbacca, Han Solo and Princess Leia.
The build is relatively straightforward, although a younger child may sturggle with the mechanism for opening the wings and may need an adults help. Then again, this is one of those sets where perhaps it would be better on display rather than being played with.
If you can, definitely get this set. It's worth the money and you will not be disappointed. "

" The VX Falcon
Pros
Very sleek, you can believe that this would be a fast spaceship. A vey nice design....
Well armed - nothing worse than a spaceship with no weapons on it......
Addition of a prison pod which attaches to the rear adds to the playability
Cons
The larger stickers are hard to place well - I messed up the placement of mine so the look is lopsided....
The cockpit is superhard to get off!!!
The controls are a little strange and the design means that it breaks apart quite easliy...
Skull interceptor
Pros
Very believable as the bad guys hot rod gettaway car!
Space for the gold safe in the back - nice mechanism to hold the safe in place as well...
Firing missiles..... (not the flick firing type...)
Cons
Needs more weapons
A lot of stickers - but smaller so easier to place well....
You can't fit both Skull twins inside unless they are sitting back to back and facing sideways.... this vehicle needed to be 2 studs wider to accomodate both twins
Overall, a good build, excellent playability, price is reasonable, but you would probably only buy this if you were a space police fan...... "

" This is an excellent addition to the Castle theme - the first of it's kind. In terms of pricing, it's well worth the money given the number of pieces in this set, even if a lot of the pieces are quite small.
There are 8 minifigs in total, and 2 buildings. The first is a blacksmith shop and stable. The interior detail of this building is fantastic. It has a waterwheel that activates the hammer in the blacksmith's shop when it spins which is a very nice aspect of this set. In addition, there's a fireplace (presumably for heating the metal weapons for shaping) as well as a furnace upstairs. The stable has enough room for 2 horses, as well as stable doors which are easy to operate.
The second building is a pub. Admitedly, there's not a lot of detail in the downstairs part of this bulding - just a bar with a couple of barrels (presumably containing beer??). The detail upstairs though makes up for this. It's a bedroom - the way the bed has been designed has to be applauded - very realistic in it's look. In addition, there's another fireplace, and a few drawers/chests (again I must applaud the designers here). One thing I would have liked however, would have been a door instead of an open doorway as you enter the top part of the building off the stairs. An open doorway just isn't right - I mean, can you imagine a house without a front door but just an open space where the door should be?
The tree is quite annoying - it's quite flimsy and some parts of it tend to come off too easily. The stall as well is too small - the minifigs don't fit (unless you put the boy in there) - it needs to be much higher. Other than that though, a very well designed set.
Building this set however, can be quite frustrating. The bags aren't individually numbered like in most of the lego sets today, so the pieces for one section can be in about 7 different bags. What happens is that you spend quite a lot of time looking for the right pieces. I think I ended up spending more time looking for the right pieces than I did actually making this set.
There's a lot of firsts with this set as well - you get the first frog, the first carrot and the first turkey/chicken. I also like the way how lego have designed the first rooster, and the attempt at the duck as well. It adds to the overall market feel of this set and is a must for any lego fan, whether you like the Castle theme or not. Mark this set down as a future lego legend........ "

" This is an interesting set - interesting because the design of the scooter (or space police raptor) is a little confusing. It's difficult to know how to place the space policeman on this thing because there's no place for him to sit down. So he either lies down on his front to fly this thing, or he's standing up inside the joint section. Either way, it doesn't quite look right. The only other problem I have is that the policeman has no airtank. He's not in an enclosed cockpit, so how's he supposed to breathe??
Apart from that, this is a great little starter set to the space police theme. To make full use of it however, you definitely need to collect other sets within this theme. On it's own, you'd get bored pretty quickly. "

" A perfect addition to any lego city!! A simple set that adds another dimension to the lego city world. It's makes a nice change to have a different type of car - the build is different to your regular lego car and although very simple, makes a nice change. This would be a great addition to those Creator house sets that come without any minifigs - in fact, it goes very nicely with the Apple Tree House set.
My main issue with this car is that it is so small, you struggle to fit the minifig in there easily. In fact, I have to lean the minifig over slightly fowards in order to fit the roof on. Also, the suitcase tends to fall out of the car a little too easily. Given the price and prupose of this set though, you can't really complain! A must for city fans, and perfect as a small gift to any kid..... "
